About: I am a dog and cat lover with one dog of my own! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in my family and have taken care of pets for neighbors and aunts over many years. I’m 20 and currently working part-time and a student at Santa Rosa Junior College, but I still have free time on my hands each week. I’m looking for some extra fun work with animals! My dog at home has a large fenced in backyard and gets walks twice a day. I will cater to the client’s needs based on their pet.

About: I have two dogs a ten year old English dog and a three year oldGerman Shepard, I love pets! And would love to help with yours! I’m currently working part time so my hours are flexible and easy! I am available Monday through Friday to stop by and take care of yours animals! If at my home I have a fenced in yard, very safe streets for walking with paths. When I’m walking your pets they will never be off leash and always be close and protected.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. I understand that every pet is different and will learn how to make your best bud feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: Working with animals brings great joy to my heart, feeling very intuitively attuned to their needs and wants. Also taking good care of the owner. Currently I have quite an open schedule to care, walk,sit or to board pets. 2-4 days a week I volunteer at a couple of animal sanctuaries with a flexible schedule depending on things. Pets would be given the utmost care and attention here at my home or at the owners. I am comfortable with pets on couch and even to snuggle in bed with me too. Your pet would be cared for as if it were my very own, with lots of love.

About: I previously worked at a specialty vet clinic that provided rehabilitation/physical therapy services to both cats and dogs. I cared for paralyzed canines, created care routines for geriatric animals, and became versed in a variety of different medical conditions. I also worked at a doggie daycare facility preparing specialty meals, administering meds, and controlling behavior in play yards. I am highly experienced in caring for animals and have owned cats and dogs my entire life. I will care for your pets as if they’re my own. I’m currently working part time while getting my Masters Degree at SSU. In Fall, I’ll have class Monday and Tuesday evening, as well as Thursday afternoon. I work at a school, so I’m available early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings during the week and all day on weekends! I typically care for pets as if they are my own, unless there are specific instructions from you! This means taking time to play with them and getting their energy out so they’re not bored all day. Anything I can do to make them feel safe and calm, I will do to the best of my ability.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with both small and large breeds. It will be all love and play that your furbaby won’t even notice you’re gone! I work full time on weekdays (11am-6pm), with a 30 min commute, and am available early mornings and evenings. On weekends I am free almost all day. I have a dog at home and cannot care for more at my place due to limited space. I am happy to care for others at their home.

I owned a petsitting and dog training business in Portland for many years... had to move and change jobs but I still love having as many furfriends as possible! I prefer sitting at my clients homes and have extensive experience with housesitting alone. I have managed luxury homes and can offer extra things like plant watering, mail pickup, coordinating with staff, etc.

About: Dogs are just happy here, I have great regulars and most of the pictures are of happy dogs in my lap. This is a safe, home away from home,for your dogs. Dogs feel like they are on vacation, where they get to play with their friends. We have Twenty four years of experience, I ran a poodle kennel for ten years. I have always had dogs, and cats I am not against reptiles. We always have full-time people at home twenty four hours, day and night. We can provide indoor -outdoor or private rooms for dogs or cats. I have a fenced yard, a park across the streetvwith fenced areas for off-leash play, and a grassy yarea behind my home. Every thing is safe and secure.

She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her. We're going to book Barbara again for another trip this year.”

We have an easygoing outdoor cat of our own who we absolutely adore, so I understand that cats like their routines, their space, and affection on their own terms! 🐱❤️ I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, outdoor/indoor routines, and of course plenty of love and attention. I’m fortunate to have a flexible full-time job and work from home a few days a week, with the ability to work remotely longer when needed. This gives me plenty of flexibility to pop in and check on your pets throughout the day. I’m also free most weekends and never work past 5 PM Monday–Friday, so I can easily make time for walks, feedings, check-ins, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I’ll treat every pet as if they were my own, whether I’m caring for them in their home or welcoming them into mine.
