About: I am a dog and cat lover with one dog of my own! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in my family and have taken care of pets for neighbors and aunts over many years. I’m 20 and currently working part-time and a student at Santa Rosa Junior College, but I still have free time on my hands each week. I’m looking for some extra fun work with animals! My dog at home has a large fenced in backyard and gets walks twice a day. I will cater to the client’s needs based on their pet.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. I understand that every pet is different and will learn how to make your best bud feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: To start off, I grew up with dogs and cats— and am very good at reading body language. I have been cat and dog sitting since the age of twelve, and as of 1 year ago have over 200 hours of volunteering at Sonoma County Animal Services. There I walk, feed, play with, and clean dogs and cats of all kind. So I am very qualified and would love a chance to take care of your furry friends! I have flexible hours as my classes are coming to an end, I can discuss times that will work for me but overall am open to working out a set schedule! I have two dogs and one cat, they are taken care of very well. As mentioned before I also volunteer with dogs and cats and have seen about every type of behavior a person can think of— I am a very responsible and kind person and pride myself on how trustworthy I am.

Whether you’re away for the day, at work or on vacation, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your pets getting lots of love attention and care - just like at home. I’m at home during all dog sitting. I live in a safe, walkable area near a grassy park. I can travel to you for care, exercise and walking. Fenced yard, sun and shade, doggy pool, time for walks, play, napping. My pooch has seizures, so I have dealt with this quite a bit. Can administer medicines as well.

About: I started dog walking and petsitting in 2022. I'm great at reinforcing recall and working with all kinds of dogs, from independent off-leash to dogs that are prone to separation anxiety. I’m the perfect person to hang out with and cuddle your furry friend while you’re away. I am currently working from home and part time at that so I have plenty of energy to devote to making sure your furry friend is well taken care of. I'm fairly active and get at least 2 walks in a day and enjoy hiking as well. I usually take dogs on walks 2x daily unless otherwise instructed. I am home for most of the day and am typically not gone from the home for more than a couple hours at a time. Love having the pets sleep with me and venture out to hiking spots or day trips if that is something that suits them.

About: Ever since I can remember i’ve been surrounded by many different animal personalities. From the doggies I have loved, the puppies i've been blessed to bring into my home, and the many other creatures i’ve been able to care for. I have had 8 dogs and 6 cats in my lifetime and a plethora of other fun friends along the way. I sat beside my beautiful Golden as she delivered 2 litters of puppies and cared for them until other families had that privilege. Animals have always been a passion of mine, and all dogs and cats I get the honor to care for are loved just as I would love my own. I have dog sat and taken care of many animals of my friends and family, and I’m excited to expand my caregiver passion. I’m currently on my summer break from college, and I’m pretty much free all the time! Once school starts up again I can work around my schedule. But I am always available Friday-Sunday! “Cecilia is amazing! We had a lady minute need for her to come and hang with our two dogs and she not only made time for them so went above and beyond. Apparently one of our dogs managed to trap herself in our downstairs bathroom (went inside the small space and when she went to check behind the door it closed on her). Needless to say our dog was nervous and tired from probably barking and scratching at the door for hours and in her boredom also destroyed all the toilet paper she could find. Cecelia not only rescued her and gave her lots of love and cuddles, but also cleaned up the disaster that was left in the bathroom. We’ve used several pet sitters over the past deferral years and while none of them have been terrible, none of them have given the same love, time and care for our dogs and house that Cecilia has. Cecilia has watched our two dogs multiple times and is always fantastic.i would highly recommend her services to anyone.”

About: I previously worked at a specialty vet clinic that provided rehabilitation/physical therapy services to both cats and dogs. I cared for paralyzed canines, created care routines for geriatric animals, and became versed in a variety of different medical conditions. I also worked at a doggie daycare facility preparing specialty meals, administering meds, and controlling behavior in play yards. I am highly experienced in caring for animals and have owned cats and dogs my entire life. I will care for your pets as if they’re my own. I’m currently working part time while getting my Masters Degree at SSU. In Fall, I’ll have class Monday and Tuesday evening, as well as Thursday afternoon. I work at a school, so I’m available early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings during the week and all day on weekends! I typically care for pets as if they are my own, unless there are specific instructions from you! This means taking time to play with them and getting their energy out so they’re not bored all day. Anything I can do to make them feel safe and calm, I will do to the best of my ability.

About: Hi! I'm Sarah. I love all animals and like to give them the care and love they deserve! I’ve had pets all my life. I'm kind, positive, gentle, and calm. My patience and calm demeanor allow animals to feel very comfortable around me. I have experience giving cats subcutaneous fluids 3x/wk for 7 months, oral meds (liquid and pill form for 1.5 years), facials, baths, and showers. and I'm sensitive & observant to animals' needs. I do my best to understand animal behavior and what they're communicating. When I adopted my cats, Sparkles & Zorro, they truly adopted me as their mom. They were a few months old & I was 10. I was their person, and the only one Sparkles completely trusted. They passed in 2019 & 2024. My dad and I found and revived a young robin from a flood after a tornado. When I come across wildlife or strays in need, I will go to the ends of the earth to help. In college I had a zoology emphasis & interned at an exotic wildlife rehabilitation center. I have volunteered at a local animal shelter washing dogs, cleaning kennels, & socializing with cats & dogs. I also volunteered at a farm animal sanctuary. We began rescuing cats since the LA wildfires and I fostered one. With a positive attitude and a readiness to learn, I'd complete the tasks assigned, giving attention to the animals as I go along. After finishing my work on the sanctuary, I'd thoroughly socialize with the animals, spending time in different barns/rooms each week so that all, from pigs to cats, receive equal attention. My skills allow me to notice a creature in need of help and be an advocate until the animal is safe and/or in the right hands. In addition to being an animal-lover, I am a people-person who enjoys the camaraderie that comes with being part of a team. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with both small and large breeds. It will be all love and play that your furbaby won’t even notice you’re gone! I work full time on weekdays (11am-6pm), with a 30 min commute, and am available early mornings and evenings. On weekends I am free almost all day. I have a dog at home and cannot care for more at my place due to limited space. I am happy to care for others at their home.

About: Working with animals brings great joy to my heart, feeling very intuitively attuned to their needs and wants. Also taking good care of the owner. Currently I have quite an open schedule to care, walk,sit or to board pets. 2-4 days a week I volunteer at a couple of animal sanctuaries with a flexible schedule depending on things. Pets would be given the utmost care and attention here at my home or at the owners. I am comfortable with pets on couch and even to snuggle in bed with me too. Your pet would be cared for as if it were my very own, with lots of love.

About: Dogs are just happy here, I have great regulars and most of the pictures are of happy dogs in my lap. This is a safe, home away from home,for your dogs. Dogs feel like they are on vacation, where they get to play with their friends. We have Twenty four years of experience, I ran a poodle kennel for ten years. I have always had dogs, and cats I am not against reptiles. We always have full-time people at home twenty four hours, day and night. We can provide indoor -outdoor or private rooms for dogs or cats. I have a fenced yard, a park across the streetvwith fenced areas for off-leash play, and a grassy yarea behind my home. Every thing is safe and secure.
