“I cannot recommend Ashley enough! I have two very high-energy dogs who require a lot of attention and exercise, and she handled them with such patience, care, and love. From the moment I met her, it was clear she truly understands dogs and enjoys spending time with them. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When I got home, the dogs were happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. It’s not easy to find someone who can keep up with their energy, but she did it effortlessly! If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and absolutely amazing with dogs, look no further—we feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Dorothy is an awesome communicator and took amazing care of our puppy and home. She sent daily texts with updates and pics which reasssured us that our puppy was happy and well taken care of. We would be lucky to have Dorothy help us again in the future!”
About: I’m a Registered Nurse by profession with 25+ years of experience ( most of that as a Labor & Delivery nurse) and I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was about 10 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have always relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their beloved pets. Then I was lucky enough to call one dog my own for 12 years. She showed up as a stray one day and my life has been changed for the better ever since. Sadly she passed away a few years ago. Because my life makes it hard to commit full time to another dog I nowadays rather dogsit someone else’s precious pet. Like yours ! I’m currently working from home part time and have plenty of time to play with your dog and go on long walks. I miss those walks since I lost my own dog ! Your dog is welcome to roam my entire home as well as my deck which is overlooking the water in Ballena Bay in Alameda, as well as my private, closed in courtyard.

I have experience with special needs pups (anxiety, disabilities, etc…) I treat every pup as my own & provide patience & care. I pride myself with responsiveness, updates & pictures. Working from home provides so much time & attention for play, walks & relaxation, home also has AC for the hot days keeping everyone very comfortable & happy! My amazing husband works from home part time & loves helping & enjoying our pup loving life! Dogs are very drawn to his calm, friendly energy. Sailor & pup friends are always attended, allowed supervised in fenced backyard, leash walks, & always allowed on beds and furniture, with plenty of toys & soft fluffy blankets to cuddle on. Happy to follow guidelines, & modify for less or more activity or routine preferences.
“Hayley is absolutely wonderful!! I was nervous at first but she quickly put me at ease when we first met - you can just tell how much she loves animals. We have a young & very energetic German Shepherd and two older cat...which she is amazing at handling all three. She has watched them a few times now. They get so excited when they see her and I know that they are in good hands.”

“Peter was very attentive to our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Hijo. It was very clear that he made Hijo his priority and Hijo was so comfortable with him that Peter got to see some of his antics usually reserved for folks he knows well. We felt very confident Peter had everything under control while we stepped away. Jen”

“Julia was truly incredible with my dog Charlie while I was away in Europe. From the moment they met, I could tell she had a natural, instinctive connection with him. She stayed at my home, which helped Charlie feel completely at ease, no signs of anxiety at all. She took him on long walks and spent real quality time with him every day. It was so comforting to know he was in such loving and capable hands. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Julia again!”

“Alex took great care of our house, elderly dog and young cat. He was very responsive and kept us updated during the trip. Would highly recommend Alex to take care of pets and house!”

About: I’ve spent several years caring for pets as part of my work as a nanny and personal assistant, so I’m very used to routines, communication, and handling animals with patience. I’ve cared for high-energy breeds like German Shepherds and Dobermans, as well as small dogs, seniors, and puppies. What sets me apart is that I’m calm, dependable, and observant, I notice changes in behavior, appetite, or energy right away. I’m comfortable with crate routines, structured walks, feeding schedules, basic commands, and keeping dogs mentally stimulated. I’ve also handled senior-dog needs like slow walks, medication reminders, and gentle mobility support. When I house-sit, I treat your home with the same respect I treat my own. I keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and send regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and confident your pup is happy and safe. Whether your dog needs long walks, quiet company, playtime, or extra patience, I adapt to each pet’s personality to help them feel secure while you’re away. I’m currently in nursing school remotely, which means my schedule is very flexible and I’m home the majority of the day. When I’m house-sitting, your dog gets consistent company, supervision, and attention, I’m not someone who will be in and out all day. If I ever need to step out for a quick errand or class requirement, I always communicate ahead of time. I believe in being respectful of your home and completely transparent about my schedule, so you’ll always know what to expect. Because my program is online, I’m able to structure my study time around your pet’s needs: walks, playtime, feeding, medication, and potty breaks. This setup lets me provide calm, consistent care while keeping your dog’s routine as stable and stress-free as possible. When I care for pets in your home, I keep everything calm, safe, and consistent. I follow your dog’s routine exactly: feeding schedule, walk times, crate rules, and any house guidelines you prefer. I’m especially careful with doors, gates, and outdoor time, and I handle strong or high-energy dogs confidently. I keep your home tidy, pick up after pets right away, and treat your space with respect. Throughout the stay, I send regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make your dog feel secure in their familiar environment and give you complete peace of mind.
“Victoria was our house-sitter for 5 days for our two herder mix 4 year old litter mates Shemp and his sister LIttle Bear. Victoria was absolutely fabulous. She bonded immediately with the pups and was very affectionate and responsive to them. She was easy to work with as we briefed her on our layout and routine for the dogs and our house. She was thoughtful in her daily activities and updates, and had the dogs best interests at heart in making sure they had fun and exercise and training. We would ask Victoria back again in a heartbeat.”

About: Aloha! My name is Luna and I have 4 dogs. I have experience with training dogs as well. My furry children are all trained by me and they can walk off leash. Animals are my passion. Walking: I love to run with dogs to get my exercise in, but walking is always great! I have walked dogs for 10 years now. Home Visit: I follow directions. Will take the dog/s out to pee and play for a little if needed and give them lots of love. Definitely play with your kitties and get you as many action shots as possible. As well as snuggles. I’m currently a stay at home mama! I have a pretty open schedule. Weekends are always the best for me, but I can do week days if needed. I follow house rules that are given. Due to the fact that I now have an infant I no longer am caring for dogs in the comfort of my home, but I’m more than happy to take your pup on walks or check in on them
“Katie is an exceptional pet sitter. We would 100 % recommend her. She asked good questions and listened well, taking the absolute best care of our dog Maeve. Kind hearted and knowledgeable, I wouldn’t hesitate to entrust any animal to her care. Well done Katie!”

“Mariah (and Chris & Calvin) were absolutely fantastic with our puppy; Duke. We were hesitant about having someone take care of him during our extended holiday but they are so kind and attentive towards Duke and our home, it put our minds at ease and we could enjoy our vacation. Duke received plenty of playtime, walks, and even cuddles. Mariah and her family took extra care of our home, ensuring Duke felt at ease and comfortable throughout their stay. We appreciate their daily check-ins and photos which helped us relax during our vacation. We highly recommend Mariah and her family to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated pet/house sitter.”

“Elliot stayed at our house with our dogs (3 of them) for 4 days. I can't say enough good things about Elliot. You can tell that he really cares about animals and spends lots of time with them when house sitting. We got updates, photos and the dogs got walked twice a day. I wouldn't hesitate to have Elliot stay again. Having Elliot stay with the dogs gave us peace of mind and the house was well taken care of. Elliot is someone very responsible and completely trustworthy. Thank you Elliot !!!!!”
