“Ciana was a great mama to my puppy Tala! She made sure to learn about tala and sent me daily(sometimes more than once) updates/photos/videos. Will definitely use her services again! Thank you Ciana for taking good care of our puppy!”

“Cymantha is the best! She looked over my big girl during difficult times for me, and I couldn’t find a better person! She updated me frequently and always assured that Lola was been treated well. She was full of attention, and loving and treat Lola as if her own! Loving, caring and very attentive! Thank you Cymantha! You’re the best!”

“Lauren and Kari were very professional and did an exceptional job taking care of my boy. We were updated daily along with pictures which was most appreciated. This has put our mind at ease as we will be leaving on a multi week trip and feel 100% comfortable leaving our boy in their care.”

“Tiffany took the best care of our sweet little angel. He's still a puppy at almost five months so can be a handful but she handled him like a champ! She sent great pics and made sure he got out all of his puppy energy! I also think she maybe fell a little in love with our little guy. So that coupled with how happy and rested he came back to us gives us every confidence she will always care for our little monster. We will definitely use Tiffany every chance we get when we need someone to step in and love him the way we do!”

“Katherine made Rosie feel comfortable and happy in her home. She's a dog lover and Rosie could tell. I was gone for 15 days and I would gladly have Katherine take care of Rosie again!”

“Lindsey and her husband took great care of our retriever for 10 nights! We received regular photos and videos and lots of communication. Lucky was well fed, walked, and loved like part of their family. He came home happy and relaxed.”

“Rio is somewhat dog selective and took some time to get used to the other dogs, in the end seemed to have a fine time at Carl’s. Carl was great with regular updates while we were gone. Thanks Carl!”

“Mariaelena was amazing! She accepted our last-minute booking and took such great care of our dogs. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day, and they looked so happy and relaxed the whole time. We could tell they were in great hands. I’d definitely book with her again!”

“My sweet boy has separation anxiety, but Catherine weathered it well and Oliver settled down. I plan to use Catherine's services in the future. She is a great communicator, calm, professional, and responds in a timely manner.”

“Laura was friendly, profressional, and made us feel at such ease leaving our baby Digit with her. We were out of thr country and requested emails and she was more than happy to oblige. Laura provided frequent updates and our pup looked happy and healthy in every picture sent. Laura dogs were passive and easy for our dog to get along with. Overall I would definitely recommend Laura”

“Greg was great. He was communicative before and after. He made sure Max was comfortable. He really cared and sent lots of pictures. I think Max had a great time! Greg has a fantastic place for pups. It’s very dog friendly and they have room to roam outside. I am definitely booking him again!”

About: I have been a dog lover all of my life and possess a special way of relating to dogs. For the last decade, I have been the neighborhood go-to for dog sitting and boarding, while also taking care of my own three dogs. With the large back yard, sunning deck, and kiddie pool, I ensure a fun and relaxing experience for your pups stay. I am skilled in grooming (basic grooming), dog massage, feeding, medication administration, communication (basic-training, recall, etc.), walks, dog park outings, etc. and most importantly, lots of lovin'! I am a musician, property manager, (former massage therapist) who works from home and keeps a daily schedule of caring (feedings, exercise/play/socializing/outings, naps, etc.) for my own and my clients dogs, while keeping up with my creative practices and administrative duties. Dog care is well-integrated into my daily life. After morning feedings, we usually load up into the car and head to the dog park for 1-1.5 hours. Once we return home, the pups generally take a nap for at least 1.5-2.5 hours (allowing me to get some work done and/or to run errands). Once awake, we typically do some playing in the yard and/or training (sometimes involving Charlies Chips Treat - no/low calorie treats). After about an hour or so of play, I shift to preparing dinner for myself and also the dogs, if there are special wet food protocol requests from the owners. After feedings, we spend another hour or so outside before quieting down for the night. I usually play some soft music to settle my own energies down and the dogs seems to really appreciate that too as they tend to fall asleep to it and sleep comfortably throughout the night. I also do a late night potty break at around 10pm, just to avoid accidents throughout the night. Safety is priority to me. My home is set up specifically for their safety and my own. Cleanliness is also an important part of safety and I tend to do that throughout the day (sweep/vacuum, spot-mop, wash bedding, etc.). I have a large fenced in back yard, kiddie pool, lots of toys, and sunning deck for the dogs. The second bedroom has a day bed that the dogs sleep on, as well as multiple dog beds and the couch, if they prefer. I have water bowls in multiple locations throughout the house and backyard. I utilize room dividers at feedings, if necessary, or if I sense a dogs need for space away from the pack.
About: I’ve looked after all types of animals and have grown up around just about everything — dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, reptiles, and more. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m the type of person who will talk to your pets like they’re people, send you way too many cute photo updates, and make sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, couch cuddles, or just having a calm and reliable person around, I’m happy to match their vibe. I currently have a cat named Louie who is spoiled in the best way possible. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat yours like they’re my own. Whether you need a quick drop-in, walks, or care while you’re out of town, I’d love to help! I currently work full time. During the week, I can come by in the morning, over lunch, and at night. On the weekends, I can come by at any time. I live in an apartment downtown Napa. Your pet(s) can stay at my place or I can come to your place - whichever you/they prefer.
“Robin was outstanding. Her attentiveness to our dogs needs was above and beyond. We would absolutely love to use her again and I do highly recommend her. Her being also a licensed vet tech gave us the reassurance that she was comfortable dealing with any situation”

“Best experience! We had minimal time to book a dog sitter and boy did we find a good one. We are fairly new to Napa and hesitant to trust anyone with our dog (Akela). We were slightly worried that Akela wouldn’t get along with a stranger. Channing was patient to get to know our dog and understand his behaviors, temperaments and personality. Once we knew that Akela was happy being around her and her home, we knew that she was the one. She her took care of Akela like he was her own. We even got daily pictures and pupdates. Definitely would choose her again for any sitting and or boarding needs.”
“Bria was amazing with my 1-year old chocolate lab, Hazel. She brought Hazel & her dog to the dog park (with my ok), even though it was raining. They ran & played and had a great time! I will use her services again every time I am in Napa.”

“Angela was so kind and caring with my pup, Bruno. He is a sensitive guy and she did a great job of putting him at ease. It was a special vacation for him as well since he got to lounge on the sofa and sleep in her bed - I was thrilled that she spoiled him with special treatment. He even got to make a new pupoy friend while staying with her.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
