About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, particularly giant breeds. I love all dogs and want to give them the best chance possible to be healthy and happy! My home has been a foster for many dogs at different times. Taking in dogs in need of medical care, puppies, female dogs going through heat before spay procedures, neglect cases and senior dogs. I’ve seen it all and will do whatever to provide a safe and comfortable place for you pet to relax and adjust. I am home full time with outings that are no more than 2-4 hours for drop in visit. We spend plenty of time snuggling and pulling out any and all of the toys. I have a fenced yard and a permanent crew that enjoy friends to play and nap with. There are cats in the home that have their own room if any dogs that day are reactive to cats. Another bedroom is just for the dogs so if your dog is not crate trained they have their own bedrooms protected solo space for feeding or if for any reason I need to leave the home.

About: I am a dog mom of two rescues and foster mom for medium sized dogs. My dogs are my babies and I love them like family. I understand the guilt of being away from your pet and I want to help your pet have company and fun adventures so they aren’t sad while you’re away! As a teacher I have a lot of flexibility during the summer and love to get outside and explore with four legged friends! I currently have summers off and have day time (7am - 3pm) availability most weekdays and can help on weekends as long as I have advanced notice. I have a fenced yard and my dogs are very social and sweet. I’m also happy to come let your pet out either to play in the yard or go for a walk to break up their day alone.

About: I've grown up in a household that always had more than 5 pets at a time. Be it dogs or cats I've been around the bend and am well-trained with each one I meet. I'm a fast-learner and love caring for pets with unique personalities. I can also handle high-stress pets. I currently live with two cats and one guniea pig. Our youngest cat is high-stress and requires a lot of tending to when it comes to visitors. The other cat is very shy. With each of these cats I have a lot of patience. Throughout the day and beginning of my nights I'm familiar with giving the animals in my house lots of affection. I have also lived with and cared for dogs for over a decade. Plus, I am no stranger to giving pets medicine or additional care. I've lived with cats and dogs, young and old, along with a couple reptiles and many guniea pigs. I'm familiar with many practices relating to a pet's safety and trust. I like to ensure that the animal is comfortable and understood. I use patience when caring for high-stress animals and I know when to be extra gentle. I'm a fast-learner and adapt easily to various pets' feeding and exercise requirements. I like to keep my environment open and clean for the animal to enjoy to the fullest.

About: Hi, I'm Des and I’m so excited to meet you and your furry (or scaley/feathery) family members! I’ve had the opportunity to work as a zookeeper at an AZA accredited zoo, where I trained a variety of animals using positive reinforcement techniques. This gave me a lot of insight into animal behavior, and the skills to handle pets of all kinds. I’m comfortable working with just about any animal you can think of. I’ve also worked as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital where I assisted with medical procedures and cared for recovering animals. This role provided me with quick thinking skills in emergency situations and further developed my passion for the well-being of all animals. I am certified in canine/feline CPR and First Aid. Over the years I’ve adopted guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and rats of my own. I've worked as a professional dog walker and sitter previously. I enjoy hiking and camping with my two dogs, concerts, traveling, and reading. I recently went back to school to study biology and hope to continue my career working with animals. About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my whole life, as well as helped watch family/friends animals when out of town. I am great with animals! I currently work as a server here in North Liberty. I’m working most evenings during the week (for sure have all day Monday off though). My schedule is a little different every week, so I can be sure to update my schedule on here regularly. I will make your animal feel as comfortable as possible, while also having fun:) As well as treat them like they are a friend! About: I always had dogs and cats on my house! Currently have 2 great cats! We have a closed backyard for cats and dogs to play with! Anytime of the week works if I am not traveling for work. Cats and dogs are welcome overnight! Most of Weekends works for us and during the week only if I don't travel. Our cats are mainly indoor but they love to be at our back yard that is fully fenced. Same for dogs! Nothing they can be harmed with in our yard and or in house. Also, we do have 2 kids that love animals! Make sure your pet like kids.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was in high school, from family members, neighbors, or friends! I can provide services for dogs, cats, smaller animals ect. I have cared for puppies that need help with potty training, special dogs that need extra care and help with certain needs, to senior dogs that need help getting up or walking around. I’ve also given oral medications for dogs at multiple different families. I have also been a Nanny for Iowa Elite Nannies since 2018 and pick up shifts for numerous families around the area. I am renovating a house so with all the things that’s going on at my home I’d prefer to come to you for a better safer environment for pets at this time. I am very active and love going on walks and playing with pets in anyway I can to make sure they get all their zoomies out. I currently work full time (7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday) as a dental assistant at North Liberty Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. I can provide drop-in visits before/after my work hours or during my free time or weekends. I can possibly do overnights at the rovers house as well if requested and works out with my schedule. My home is currently undergoing renovations at this time so I’m not offering boarding at my home. I will stay at the rovers house with their pet if requested. I love all animals and will treat them like my own. If the pets family has a routine for the animals or specific requests I will obviously follow that and do what is asked. Obviously food, water, and potty breaks are a necessity and I will provide that for your pets. If your pet has an specific diet, allergies, medications Id request that it be written down, so I can always make sure I’m giving your pet the correct portions/amounts.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and simply spending time with your sweet friend. I’ve also worked at a dog daycare, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Including pups who are shy, anxious, or need a little extra patience. I’ll do my best to create a calm and comforting environment. I’m happy to stick to their routine, give extra snuggles, or just sit with them quietly if that’s what helps them feel safe. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel reassured while you’re away. Right now, I work part-time with a very flexible schedule. I currently work in the ICU at the U of Iowa about 24 hours a month and will soon be working an additional 8 hours a week at another hospital. I’ll also be starting nursing school in the fall, but outside of that, I’ll mainly be home and available. Whether you need help with daily care or overnight stays, I’m happy to come to your home to feed, walk, play with, or simply keep your pet company. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own.
