âVanessa was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter for our dog, Candy. She was kind, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to understand Candyâs routine, personality, and needs, which gave us so much peace of mind. While we were away, Vanessa kept us updated daily with videos and pictures. Our kids were so excited every day to receive them, it really made the time apart so much easier and more enjoyable for the whole family. It was clear Candy was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Vanessa truly went above and beyond to make sure Candy felt safe and loved. We would highly recommend her to anyone. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!â

âSherlock's enjoyed his stay! Glad he got along well with Oakley and Archer right off the bat. Kerri was so kind and was awesome with providing with pictures and updates every day.â

âRachel and Henrik (and their two wonderful kids!) watched our two Goldendoodles for the weekend, and we couldnât have had a better experience. From the start, it was clear this was a perfect fitâwe did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and instantly felt comfortable. Their home is beautiful, clean, and has a great backyard where our dogs had plenty of space to run and play. More importantly, our dogs were treated like part of the familyâthey got tons of attention, snuggles, and care all weekend. We also really appreciated the frequent updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind. When we dropped them off, our dogs were so excited they ran right in without hesitationâthat says everything. You can truly tell how much Rachel and Henrik love dogs and care for them as their own. One of the nicest families weâve met, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were so well cared for. We will absolutely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dog care.â

âJennifer was such a great sitter and certainly deserves the star sitter status! She was extremely accommodating with our doggy meet up to make sure our puppy would be a great fit (and also extremely patient with Mayaâs high energy!). From drop off to pick-up, Jennifer was in contact with us the whole time providing us with the updates and pictures she knew we needed! It was so difficult to be away from our fur baby for as long as we were but we felt comfortable with where she was and would 100% book with Jennifer again in the future!â

About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.
âDiana was amazing with my pup, Louis! He had an absolute blast â especially getting to run around outside and play with the other dogs and kids, which is such a treat for him since he doesnât get that kind of freedom in Manhattan. I could tell he was well cared for and totally in his element. Communication was great, with tons of photos daily, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such a loving, fun environment. Iâd strongly recommend Diana to anyone looking for a thoughtful and responsible sitter â weâll definitely be booking with her again!â

âSandy is the most caring dog sitter. It is nice to be able to go on vacation and not worry about my dog. Also, Sandyâs dog Lacy is a great companion for my dog Nora. Nora is always so happy to see Sandy and Lacy. Sandy responds instantly to text, sends pictures, and treats Nora as her own. Her house is dog friendly and Nora is welcome on the couch to snuggle. I feel blessed to have found such a loving sitter. Respectfully, Jennifer Pena Proceâ

âRocko had a great time with Alejandro and even made new friends. Alejandro sent me videos every day of Rocko playing with his new friends. I highly recommend Alejandro and will definitely use him in the future.â

Kristen was absolutely wonderful. We had never left our dogs with a sitter before, but Kristen took care of our girls as well as we could. Peace of mind cannot be bought at any price but Kristenâs love of animals enabled us to enjoy our vacation without worry. One million stars!
Naomi was great! Normally I wouldnât book with a sitter so new to Rover but when we met her and learned she works at a Vetâs office, we felt a lot comfort and had complete trust in her. We would 100% book again and recommend her to anybody. She updated us about 3 times per day (with pics) and she even gave our little guys a complimentary bath. Beautiful property she lives on as well!

Our doggos took an instant liking to Kyla, whom from this first instance of contact was so incredibly polished and professional and really helped put us at ease. She sent is pictures for updates and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be repeats, our dogs had a superb time and hardly missed us at all

We canât say enough great things about Samantha! This was our first time ever leaving our dog Luna with someone, and from the very beginning she made us feel completely at ease. She was kind, communicative, and treated Luna like her own. Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved during her 3-night stay. Weâre so grateful to have found Samantha and would absolutely trust her with Luna again!

By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
