“I had a last minute emergency of not having someone to watch kylo while i went away. after constant searching my boyfriend recommended i try Rover and i found Jennifer . She was accommodating, sweet and attentive from the first meet. i was a bit nervous as a first time user for the app and i’ve never had anyone who wasn’t family take care of kylo, but she’s trustworthy and always sent updates on Kylo and how he was doing and he was settling in very easily. her environment was something i loved for kylo to be around, she was always around with kylo and gave him constant attention, cuddles, and her dog Sadie, was just as energetic as him. i’m glad he wasn’t alone and it definitely eased my mind to know he was in a safe environment surrounded by people and other pet friends. my encounter with her was so smooth and last minute but i’m glad she took Kylo in and treated him like her own. if you’re unsure of leaving your pet with someone i 100000% recommend her ! i know kylo had a blast with her and i would definitely love for her to watch kylo for future because of how happy he was and i was knowing he was cared for”
About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

About: My background in cat care began in The League for Animal Protection of Huntington, NY in 2007. I volunteered there as an animal care associate, working with a variety of kittens and cats from many different walks of life. All of the cats were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with socialization, feeding, and even medication distribution. In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house- and cat-sitting job. After that, I entered the full-time workforce and adopted my first cat and love of my life Avery. Avery has since passed, but my home is now occupied by his feline brothers (in spirit): Handsome and Bubbles. They bring me more joy than I could ever imagine! I've always had a soft spot for cats, and find them to be such a delight, whether they're the affectionate type or even more aloof. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. “From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. About: I have been watching and taking care of friends/family dogs for years and have raised my own since he was a 8 weeks old. I can clip nails, bath give ear/eye treatments if ever needed. I work remotely from home for the most part and would only accept to care if I am home that day. I have a 30 lb Klee Kai mix at home who would accompany your pet on walks/play time and naps. Walks would be about every 2-3 hours for potty breaks. For extra outdoor play time we could go out on the large patio on my floor. Pets are allowed to hang out and nap on couch

I have been around dogs my whole life especially Rotties and Labs!:) Being a graduate student, my schedule is very consistent and predictable. I will be working M/W: 12pm- 8pm T/TH: 7am- 3pm Friday: 10am - 6pm If I’m not at work I’m with your pup! I will usually have a break throughout the day that allows me to come home or stop by for potty breaks, walks, feeding, and check ins as needed. My parents are also home so your pup will never be left alone for more than a couple minutes! Someone is usually always home. On weekends I am always around which allows me to spend the morning, afternoon and evening providing attentive care, exercise, playtime, and companionship. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and maintain their normal routine. At my home, pets have access to a fully fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play. I provide regular walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention based on each pet's individual needs. I live very close to my campus which gives me access to get home as quickly as 2 minutes for just incase purposes

About: I’ve worked at PetSmart in the pets hotel taking care of 18 dogs at a time. Cleaning and feeding too. Keeping the pets engaged is important. About: All my life I have taken care of animals big and small. Special care or simple care they will be loved and safe with me. I work a hybrid job, from home Monday and Friday office tues-Thurs. all fur babies baby will love the attention and affection they will get. “I had a last minute emergency of not having someone to watch kylo while i went away. after constant searching my boyfriend recommended i try Rover and i found Jennifer .
