When your dog stays with me, they will be treated like one of my dachshunds who are friendly, playful, and used to having company. My goal is for every dog to feel like they are spending time with family- safe, happy, and loved. I am home most of the day and have a flexible schedule for drop-offs, pick-ups, or day care. Since I am around often, your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. I have a nice-sized fenced yard that is perfect for running around and playing fetch. There is a dog door for easy access to the yar throughout the day, so pups can stretch their legs whenever they like. Inside, dogs are part of the family- they can nap on comfy beds, lounge with me, and sleep in bed unless you prefer otherwise. My home is calm, cozy, and full of love.

About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. I let dogs free roam throughout my home and they're absolutely allowed on furniture. I treat every dog as if they were my own, which means lots of freedom, comfort, and attention. Since I do this part-time, I never have more than two unfamiliar dogs at once, so each dog gets a calm, focused environment. I'm extremely respectful of their space and routines — I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions to the letter, and I always leave things cleaner than I found them.

When your pup is in my care my focus is on keeping them safe and happy! I am retired from working so I like to say that I am a stay at home dog Mom! When I am watching your dog, there is nothing more important to me than your fur baby’s safety and happiness. Since I am home full time I am available for your pup 24/7! I do occasionally leave the house but usually not longer than an hour or two. I have a large fenced in yard and a sweet, fun 2 year old Lab mix who loves to play with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have a 5 month old grand puppy and Reba loves playing with her!
