I've had dogs my entire life. I am an excellent personal trainer, who enjoys the company of dogs. I joined Rover when living in a building in PHX. I started to walk or pet sit for many residents in my building. Many call me the "dog whisperer."

We used John for the first time recently, he took care of our girl Irie, a high energy Wirehaired Pointing Griffon for five nights. We appreciated John and his calm demeanor after an initial meeting with him and his dog Laverne a week prior to drop off. Irie and John and his Family got along great and Irie arrived home after pick up as if we were only separated for short while. A great indicator of her being well taken care of.
John was great! He came a couple of times before the actual dog sitting day so that we were comfortable with him and the dogs. The dogs were well cared for, loved, and happy while we were away. Communication was excellent. We would absolutely recommend John and use again!
I never worry about my dog when I leave him with John. He sends me pictures of Deuce hanging out and playing with his dog. I think Deuce has as much fun with John and his dog as I do on vacation.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we met, it was clear how calm, attentive, and experienced John is. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved the entire time we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and little notes that gave us total peace of mind. We highly recommend John and will definitely be using him for the future!
Just a random afternoon booking with John since Bo has such a wonderful time and so much fun at John’s!! He’s mellow in the car after I pick him up and out cold when he gets home…lol !!!
Had such a wonderful experience with John. From the moment we dropped our pup off, we felt completely at ease knowing she was in caring and capable hands. Communication was great throughout and Cookie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for, which says everything. It’s obvious that every dog is treated like family and in a clean and safe space. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend John to anyone looking for trustworthy care for their pet!

Schedule
I recently retired, may pick up a part time job, but my full-time out of the house days are over. If I can assist folks that work all day with their doggies, I'd be happy to do so.

I have a house an half an acre walking distance to the Nissequogoe River. Completely fenced in yard with visibility to the park across the street.

A typical day
Walking, play fetch, hiking in safe marked trails, running through a sprinkler. I'm walking distance to the Nissequogoe River, Arthur Kunz State Park and San Remo.
