“Hailey is a great find! She walked my puppy, Andy at 6:30 in the mornings. I needed to make scheduling changes a few times and she got back to me quickly and was very flexible. My puppy is in training and Hailey followed through on all of his training skills for me. Thank you!”

“Rebecca is great! Great communication and always sends me a picture of Eli. It makes my day a lot better when I get to see his cute face when I’m at work.”

About: I‘ve had dogs and cats my entire life and hopefully forever. I currently have 3 adorable dogs and 2 amazing cats that are apart of my family. I have also cared for other pets in my experience working at a Veterinary Hospital and Boarding House. I worked in the boarding facility as well as the hospital so I’m no stranger to caring for cats and dogs (sometimes exotic animals). I also assisted the techs with various procedures. This means I can administer medication orally if it’s ever needed and I have the knowledge to be aware if something doesn’t seem right about your pet. I was additionally in charge of walking the dogs, even those in e-collars and paw protectors. I am working part-time as a photographer, but I will always have time for any animals! I enjoy early morning walks and afternoon play dates! My daytime schedule is between 7 am-10 pm Monday-Friday. I walk dogs usually between 9 am-9 pm to give myself enough time with each animal. When it comes to your pet, because I have schedule flexibility I’ll be able to drop in whenever it’s needed to make sure things are going smoothly while you’re away. I’ll be able to provide your pet with the snuggles and care that they need all the while keeping you updated with notes and photos so you feel confident and comfortable that your pets are being taken care of properly! My animals play daily and get loads of attention! I would treat your pets the same way. I don’t believe your pets are just pets. They’re apart of your family. All of the animals I’ve had have been treated the same way any one of my human family members are treated. Whatever is needed for them to be happy and content I will help provide.

About: I have always had 4-8 animals. Have fed, walked, bathed and trained all of them. Charlotte, Oliver, Tipperary, and Kieran put a smile on my face every day. I have a few repeat dog-walking clients who I see in the afternoon. I work from home the rest of the time (on my own schedule) so I have very open availability. I walk both of my dogs every day and let them outside frequently. I bathe them once a month, giving them a good shampoo and condition. I regularly get my dogs nails clipped. My dogs love to play fetch so I make sure to get at least 15 minutes in every day. My cats’ litter boxes are always clean. I brush them every week and make sure to keep their nails clipped. They love chasing the laser pointer around. I would treat any clients animals the same as my own.

“Bruce was easy to communicate with and willing to come do a meet and greet before hand. It's clear he knows a lot about animals. Thanks, Bruce!”

About: I have had animals my whole life- dogs, cats, reptiles, and even horses! I personally got my own puppy a few years ago and have even trained him myself. I love all animals and love watching animals for people who wants good animal care. I’ve taken multiple animal sciences classes during my time at college which help me better read animal body language and communication, as well as learn effective training methods. In addition, I currently work at an animal shelter, exposing me to a multitude of animal temperaments! I love all things pet and will be available most afternoons and weekends to watch your fur baby! I’m super flexible with dates and times so I’ll always be willing to work around your schedule for visits. I currently work at an animal shelter so my day outside of pet sitting revolved around cleaning, training, and enriching animals. I love to help train animals and give the care that is expected by the owners. I am willing to help crate the dogs if need be and feed and provide outdoor time as needed. I would never want the animal bored or alone for time longer than they are used to. I will make sure they are taken care of as they are used to and get the mental and physical exercise they need.

“Very helpful and flexible. Was wonderful at checking in with me and asking useful questions.”

About: I am currently working as a veterinary technician in an animal hospital in Seymour. I have been there for ~2 years now. Caring for animals has always and will forever be my passion in life. I personally have a 4 1/2 year old pit bull baby named Zeus, and 3 lovely cats. All of them being loved, extremely spoiled, and well taken care of; always. I work a full-time job as a veterinary technician, I work 4 days out of the week (8am - 6pm) and every other Saturday (8am - 12pm). I am off one day during the week (usually Wed. or Thurs.) and I am off every Sunday. I am able to fit in dog walks or sitting anytime after 6pm working hours, and if I'm not working then time really doesn't matter as long as personal life agrees. I have a dog that suffers from separation anxiety and I have had to learn how to manage. He is unable to be left home alone most times and if he must be left, he has to be crated (otherwise we come home to everything demolished). Ways I have worked to solve this problem with him is 1) anxiety medication that he gets almost daily 2) I try to avoid leaving him alone, if he can come then he is coming. Thankfully he is a great dog otherwise and bringing places isn't too much of a hassle. He does have major FOMO. I am a very easy person to work with, flexible, and a quick learner. If there is anything you feel is important for me to know, let me know.

About: Hi there! With 12+ years of professional pet care experience—and a lifetime of loving my own animals—I bring both expertise and genuine affection to every pet I meet. Over the years, I’ve cared for dozens of dogs, each with their own unique needs and personalities, from energetic pups to seniors needing daily meds and extra TLC. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping a sweet dog through cancer treatment— So happy to share that she is now as healthy and as playful as ever. And honestly? Belly rubs are great, but pet massages are my true specialty! I love giving your pet the extra relaxation and affection they deserve. And because I work from home, your dog is never far from company, comfort, and a warm lap. Whether it’s structured walks or cozy downtime, I create a calm, safe environment you can trust. Pets are family and always deserve to be treated as such. I work from home part-time, with a fair deal of flexibility and gaps throughout the day. Also, with a big backyard and a nature trail nearby, getting that outdoor time is an automatic given! Fortunately, my pup is well-trained and never strays from our unfenced yard. I recognize this may be a deterrent for some but please rest assured, if you consider me for your care-giving services, not only will there be a leash and constant supervision, but also even more outdoor walk time to make sure all that energy turns into a great long nap.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little and have dog-sit for many people in the last 10 years! I absolutely love taking care of pets and allowing people’s minds to be at ease that they are receiving the best care. I currently work remotely from my home, which I share with my partner (who is also a pet lover). I am happy to board your pet in our residence or stay overnight and housesit for you, as well! I will make sure to respect your home and your pets’ schedules to ensure they get the best care while you’re away. Ground rules will be followed to a T. I do tend to spoil most pets I take care of.
