About: I have always had 4-8 animals. Have fed, walked, bathed and trained all of them. Charlotte, Oliver, Tipperary, and Kieran put a smile on my face every day. I have been on Rover part time since 2021 and been doing it as full time work starting in April 2025! I have a few repeat dog-walking clients who I see in the afternoon. I have a part time job where I work from home, and a variety of pets I take care of sporadically throughout the week. Usually, I’ll be able to make something work for both of our schedules :) I walk both of my dogs every day and let them outside frequently. I bathe them once a month, giving them a good shampoo and condition. I regularly get my dogs nails clipped. My dogs love to play fetch so I make sure to get at least 15 minutes in every day. My cats’ litter boxes are always clean. I brush them every week and make sure to keep their nails clipped. They love chasing the laser pointer around. I would treat any clients animals the same as my own.

“Hailey is a great find! She walked my puppy, Andy at 6:30 in the mornings. I needed to make scheduling changes a few times and she got back to me quickly and was very flexible. My puppy is in training and Hailey followed through on all of his training skills for me. Thank you!”

“Bruce is wonderful! He is gentle, kind, and responsible. He takes his duties seriously which brings me peace of mind while I’m working long hours. My high energy dog received lots of attention and long walks and I couldn’t be happier. I will 100% schedule him again!”

About: Hi there! With 12+ years of professional pet care experience—and a lifetime of loving my own animals—I bring both expertise and genuine affection to every pet I meet. Over the years, I’ve cared for dozens of dogs, each with their own unique needs and personalities, from energetic pups to seniors needing daily meds and extra TLC. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping a sweet dog through cancer treatment— So happy to share that she is now as healthy and as playful as ever. And honestly? Belly rubs are great, but pet massages are my true specialty! I love giving your pet the extra relaxation and affection they deserve. And because I work from home, your dog is never far from company, comfort, and a warm lap. Whether it’s structured walks or cozy downtime, I create a calm, safe environment you can trust. Pets are family and always deserve to be treated as such. I work from home part-time, with a fair deal of flexibility and gaps throughout the day. Also, with a big backyard and a nature trail nearby, getting that outdoor time is an automatic given! Fortunately, my pup is well-trained and never strays from our unfenced yard. I recognize this may be a deterrent for some but please rest assured, if you consider me for your care-giving services, not only will there be a leash and constant supervision, but also even more outdoor walk time to make sure all that energy turns into a great long nap.

About: I am currently working as a veterinary technician in an animal hospital in Seymour. I have been there for ~2 years now. Caring for animals has always and will forever be my passion in life. I personally have a 4 1/2 year old pit bull baby named Zeus, and 3 lovely cats. All of them being loved, extremely spoiled, and well taken care of; always. I work a full-time job as a veterinary technician, I work 4 days out of the week (8am - 6pm) and every other Saturday (8am - 12pm). I am off one day during the week (usually Wed. or Thurs.) and I am off every Sunday. I am able to fit in dog walks or sitting anytime after 6pm working hours, and if I'm not working then time really doesn't matter as long as personal life agrees. I have a dog that suffers from separation anxiety and I have had to learn how to manage. He is unable to be left home alone most times and if he must be left, he has to be crated (otherwise we come home to everything demolished). Ways I have worked to solve this problem with him is 1) anxiety medication that he gets almost daily 2) I try to avoid leaving him alone, if he can come then he is coming. Thankfully he is a great dog otherwise and bringing places isn't too much of a hassle. He does have major FOMO. I am a very easy person to work with, flexible, and a quick learner. If there is anything you feel is important for me to know, let me know.

“Heather was the daily walker for my puppy Jack for a couple of months and I couldn’t have been more pleased. She was very communicative and caring towards him, socialized him with lots of dogs and people on their walks. She let me know if he seemed sick or unusually tired. I never felt like I had to check in or be worried. She played with him and worked with me on his training so we could be sure he was learning the same. Unfortunately changes in schedule led to parting of ways but I would hands down recommend her to anyone.”

I will make sure to respect your home and your pets’ schedules to ensure they get the best care while you’re away. Ground rules will be followed to a T. I do tend to spoil most pets I take care of.

Madalys B.Star Sitter

“She took care of my 5 years old lab. She was super punctual and sent tons of pictures that I appreciate. We will be in contact with Madalys again. 5 stars 🌟”

Andrea P.
“To Whom it May Concern: This is a letter of recommendation for Ms. Andrea Pannone to be a pet sitter for your organization. Andrea is, as you phrased it is, "An awesome human being." She balances her work life with her college studies extremely well, while still having time to foster a rich family and social life. Andrea has a strong sense of compassion for animals. Two examples come to mind: 1.) She was driving home from work last year when she encountered a gaggle of geese crossing the road. She, of course, stopped to let them cross. A car behind her, though, got impatient, and passed Andrea, running over two geese in the process. Andrea was incensed and noted as much of the offender's license plate as she could as he sped off. As soon as the remaining geese crossed, Andrea tried to catch up with him to chastise him, but she could not without endangering herself and others. She called the police with as much information as she had, which, led to an investigation by Shelton's Department of Animal Control. 2.) In April, 2021, Andrea was eating lunch on her deck when a bird flew into a picture window. The bird was flying so fast, it bounced off the window and landed two feet away. It lay on the deck with a twisted neck, with one wing flapping. It could not move otherwise. Andrea immediately logged onto Google and researched the best way to treat the situation. She then swaddled the bird in a cloth napkin and placed it in a small box to give it a sense of security. She then called the Shelton Department of Animal Control, but it was closed. Several emergency numbers were given and Andrea called one of them to plea her case that this was an emergency. Her advocacy inspired one of the Vet Techs to suspend her family's dinner to return to her work facility to receive the injured bird-a grey catbird. The Tech administered a pain killer and an anti-inflammatory. Two days later, she sent a video of the bird being released into the wild. The Tech indicated Andrea initiated the actions that saved the bird's life. Andrea has been noted numerouse times for her excellent customer service. She has worked in food service, in several settings, and her managers have always commended her attention to detail, her courteous manner, and her problem-solving abilities. Please feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss Andrea's candidacy further. Regards, Bob Pannone (203) 918-5291”
