“Jacob was great with Bean! He fed him his food, refilled the water and cleaned the bowls, and made the time to play lots with him. He also took plenty of photos! This was our first time going away and having a cat sitter, so we were a bit nervous, but the detailed notes and pictures definitely eased our nerves! Thanks Jacob <3”

About: For three years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One is a senior at 12 years old and the other is still in his adolescent phase at 2 1/2. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. I am available: 12-2pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Evenings Monday-Friday. Most weekends are open. I am also available for some overnights, which can be discussed. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

“Becky went above and beyond in taking care of our cats. She was incredibly communicative, quickly responded to our cats' many antics, and was attentive to every detail of their care. Because of her great sense of humor, we were excited every time a new Rover card was posted, where her love and care for our cats was apparent. It can be hard to leave your pets with a stranger, but we felt completely at ease knowing that Becky was taking care of them. We would recommend her to all pet parents looking for a reliable and conscientious sitter.”

“Jes is fantastic! He’s super communicative, reliable, and successfully befriended our two shy kitties. We know our girls are in great hands with Jes. He takes good care of the house too. We look forward to working with him again!”

“Shelly was very responsive and accommodating while taking care of our cat. I have already worked with Shelly again to help out when I had to go out of town again unexpectedly. Highly recommend!”

About: Before lovingly forcing my parents to rescue a German Shepherd when I was 13, I was always seeking out opportunities to dog-sit or walk the neighborhood dogs. I now have my own senior Chihuahua mix, Gertie, who I rescued four years ago, and she's the light of my life! I have experience taking care of senior dogs and even have a pet stroller if your dog is small enough and needs to get outside without putting stress on their joints. I recently was laid off from my full-time job and will be going back to school part-time this summer (2025). I will have afternoons and evenings most days (besides Mondays + Wednesdays) free and can walk your dog any time after 3pm. I am only offering walking services and will not bring my dog on those walks - I will be solely committed to yours. I will be certain to only walk your dog in safe, paved neighborhoods unless otherwise requested.

“As always Danielle took wonderful care our girl Dahlia. Plus she watered our pack yard for us and brought in our mail. I can’t tell you what a relief it is for us to know that she is here stopping by taking care of our precious Dahlia, and odds and ends while we are away. Thank you Danielle ❤️❤️❤️”

“Simone was great with visiting my cats while I was away for a long weekend. She was easy to communicate with, took good care of my fur babies and was responsible with instructions. I will definitely work with her again when I have future needs! Thanks Simone!!”

About: I will happily love, exercise and care for your dog like they are my own. I am comfortable taking on any special needs they may have, and any preferences you have for them. I’ve had pets my whole life and am very familiar with how special our bond is with our fur babies - I am empathetic to the anxiety that being apart can cause on both ends and want to ensure you your pet will be with a good heart and in good hands. I am currently very flexible and can structure my work schedule around you and your pets, especially for regular walking/visits. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for last minute needs! I am available to watch pets in your home or on walks/hikes. While I have a gated patio area, I do have a cat and will not be available to host your pet in my home overnight.

About: I have experience keeping dogs safe while making sure they get the exercise they need. I'm also communicative, and can send updates or ask questions as needed. I'm a third year law student so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule. I'm always happy to take a break from my textbooks! I'm super communicative, unless the client doesn't need to hear from me. I know it's nerve wracking sometimes to leave your pet in someone else's care, so I like to share updates and check-in when I can.

“Cameron was wonderful with our cats Wally and Oreo. He sent fun photos everyday and even our shy cat seemed comfy with him. It’s nice to go out of town and know everyone will be taken care of.”

I am currently wfh freelancers, I have plenty of availability in my schedule to care for other peoples furry guys! I have too small of an apartment to have a dog of my own - so my own pet care would never get in the way. I play with my cats every morning and night for at least two hours a day. I believe in a healthy diet for all animals, as well as providing an enriched home life for all domesticated animals. I am proudly in tune with an animal's body language and how the all vocalize their needs differently.

About: My pet experience includes having lived with roommates with dogs for 3+years caring for their dogs while they were away on vacation or simply just for the day. I am my family’s designated dog sitter and I’m happy I get to care for my aunt’s senior dog whenever she goes on trips. I’ve been dog-sitting for her for around 5 years (from before he was a senior dog!). I work from home full time so my schedule can but flexible around my meetings, and I would love to have a companion or two on my daily walks and for more reason to leave my apartment. I love animals and am grateful to those who entrust me with their pets so I treat them with nothing but love and respect. Their safety and wellbeing is a top priority and I take this responsibility very seriously.

About: Hello! I am a recent graduate of George Mason University (M.A.) and I recently moved to the Oakland/Berkeley area. I have an approximately 14 year old rescue dog named Daisy who has kidney disease and other chronic conditions. So I have quite a bit of experience caring for older pets, administering medication, and taking slow careful walks. I regularly hire dog walkers off Rover for her while I'm at work, and it inspired me to join as well! I also have experience caring for my family dogs, a young Shih Tsu and an elderly Bichon. I love dogs of all sizes, and one of my favorite breeds is pitbulls/Staffordshire terriers. I also have experience caring for two pet rats. I am always on time, detail oriented, and will send you lots of pictures of your fur baby. I currently have availability all day Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and availability before 12pm Tuesday, Thursday. I have availability on Saturdays if given a week notice. I cannot board dogs in my home, but I promise to be respectful and mindful in your home and of your wishes regarding the care of your pet.

“I have trusted Christina with pet-sitting and overnight care of our family dogs for several years. Christina is so great - responsible and communicative, and has always displayed natural affinity for not just my dogs, but other canines and pets in general. I cannot recommend Lexi enough as a cat sitter! From the very beginning, it was clear that Lexi genuinely cares about animals and takes the responsibility seriously. My cat, Astra, is not always the easiest to care for as he can be shy and a little picky about who he warms up to but Lexi immediately won him over. Lexi goes above and beyond to make sure Astra feels comfortable, cared for, and happy while I’m away. Every time I come home, I can tell Astra has been well looked after and is in a great mood. One of the things I appreciate most is how attentive Lexi is to Astra’s needs. Whether it’s making sure Astra eats well, gets enough playtime, or just feels calm and secure, Lexi handles it all with so much thoughtfulness. They always gives me updates, which gives me total peace of mind knowing that Astra is in such capable hands. Lexi is also incredibly flexible and reliable, which has been a lifesaver for me more than once. If I’ve needed to make last-minute changes or had unexpected travel plans, Lexi has always been willing to adjust and help out without hesitation. That level of understanding and dependability is so rare and so appreciated. On top of all that, Lexi is just such a friendly and positive person. It’s clear that this isn’t just a “job” for Lexi, it’s a genuine passion. I feel 100% confident leaving Astra with Lexi, which honestly says a lot, because I’m pretty protective of my cat! In short, Lexi is literally the best cat sitter ever. I trust them completely with Astra, and I’m so grateful to have found someone so caring, responsible, and kind. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, Lexi is the one.

Kiara was awesome! When we arrived home from our trip, I could tell our cats had been well taken care of. Kiara took lots of pictures when she visited to reassure us our kitties were okay. She was easy to communicate with and was even willing to water my plants. Thank you Kiara!

As always Danielle took wonderful care our girl Dahlia. Plus she watered our pack yard for us and brought in our mail. I can’t tell you what a relief it is for us to know that she is here stopping by taking care of our precious Dahlia, and odds and ends while we are away. Thank you Danielle ❤️❤️❤️

This was my first time being away from Taffy since I adopted him, so I was a little worried about how he would handle the situation, especially since he tends to be wary of new people. I was so pleased to see that he really seemed to like Crystal! I think it speaks well to her understanding of and empathy towards cats that Taffy was so comfortable around her despite just meeting her. I'll definitely be booking Crystal again the next time I need to be away from my little ball of floof.

Emily was a good communicator and overall amazing petsitter with my 2 cats while I was out of the country for almost 2 weeks. My kitties are pretty shy, and she was so great about letting them warm up to her and took such good care of them. One of my girls got a bit sick while I was away, and while I was on such a different timezone, Emily called a vet and followed their advice to keep an eye on her. Thankfully kitty was feeling better the next day, and I'm so grateful for Emily handling it so well!!

Qishu was a great sitter, who bonded so naturally and quickly with our cat Piper! She left sweet and thorough reports for each visit, plenty of cute vids, and great communication throughout. She went above and beyond to make sure Piper got the extra affection she needs while we're away. Thanks for taking such good care of our sweet P!

Autumn took care of our kitty for a week and was so great! She is super communicative and responsive. My normally very shy kitty was crawling all over her within seconds of her arrival so she is clearly great with animals. Will definitely book again in the future

Jessica and her partner did a meet and greet before this and were great with our two dogs. My big 60lb girl can be very intimidating but they were so gracious and understanding of her loud temperament. They were flexible and willing to work with us and really glad we found them!!!
