“Dana is wonderful! She does a great job with our young, energetic dog Marty, who can be difficult to manage on a leash. Marty loves Dana and looks forward to his walks with her! He always comes back happy and tired out!”

“Elaine was a last minute life savor ! She was very competent about dogs and I felt very safe leaving Moneypenny in her hands. I would recommend her and book her again”

About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.

About: We had all sorts of animals while I was growing up, including cats and dogs. We started with cats and two beagles, and after the beagles' passing, we adopted the sweetest schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle) on the planet! Long story short, after my sister and I moved out, my parents ended up with two more dogs and trusted only one person (other than my sister) to look after all three dogs when they (my folks) would go on trips: me. We continued to have cats and other animals during that time. My parents are down to two dogs now, but that's been one of my jobs for the last several years, in addition to looking after friends' dogs. I've also volunteered at a couple of shelters as a cat socializer and cat/kitten foster parent. During that time, I completed a "Fear Free Shelter" course and understand the signs of distressed dogs and cats and how to reduce their stress (one spoiler: classical music for dogs). I also recently became certified in canine and feline first aid/CPR. Anyway, I love doing drop-in visits and dog walking and am happy to offer my home as a daycare. I love seeing animals in the comfort of their own homes and letting dogs explore my backyard. I'm currently funemployed, so I have time to do drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy daycare most days. Dogs staying with me for the day would have access to our fenced backyard. If you need only dog-walking or drop-in sittings, then I can usually start after 10a. For doggy daycare, I’ll be sure to provide the stability and boundaries your fur baby needs. Your dog is welcome on the couch during the day, and we have a heated and air conditioned home during the hot and cold months. If I'm in your home, such as for drop-in visits, I'll use Rover Cards to let you know when I arrive, document how things went while I was there (with photos), and let you know when I head out. It would also help me tremendously if you could provide written instructions on Rover ahead of time. My goal is to provide all of the comfort your honey needs while you’re away. (I've been that anxious pet guardian myself, so I get it!)

About: Many years ago the ‘Dog Whisperer’ came into my life through personal training. Cesar Milan taught me how to successfully train my aggressive dog with a few behavioral changes and lots of exercise. I was blessed to take my dog to Cesar’s Dog Psychology Center (DPC) more than once. I learned so much working with Cesar and spending time with his dogs. Now I apply those same techniques to all the Rover dogs. The importance of disciplinary exercise has changed many of my clients’ dogs through multiple daily walks. Your dog will receive the same training Cesar provides while staying in my doggy day care and on our walks. He always said “a tired dog can’t misbehave” and it’s very true! I’ve been personally training celebrities like Cesar and his wife for 15+ years. My schedule is very flexible while accommodating clients 2-3 days a week. I am a professional bodybuilder so fitness is my lifestyle. I love walking, riding my bike and going to the gym. Exercise is more important to your dog than it is to us! I’m happy to share my passion of fitness with your dog. Pets are a gift and having them in your life is a true blessing. It’s your responsibility to provide the best care possible. They should never be seen as a burden or taken for granted! I used to walk my 2 dogs everyday before they passed twice a day, for at least a half hour. It was truly the highlight of my day. I really miss them and would like the pleasure of walking other dogs because exercise is so important to their mental and physical health as well as their behavior.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. From playful puppies to senior pets needing extra attention, I provide patient, loving care tailored to each animal’s unique needs. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, administering medication, or just giving them some extra love while you’re away—I treat every pet like family. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable nature and ability to connect with animals quickly, making them feel safe and cared for in any situation. As a member of the Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700), I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care for your pets throughout the day. My schedule allows for regular walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins—making sure your furry friends are never left feeling alone or overlooked. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I create a calm, loving environment where animals feel safe and cared for. I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, walking, administering medication, and giving them the attention they need to feel secure. Because I work from home as a member of the Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700), I’m able to offer flexible, consistent care throughout the day. I make sure each pet gets plenty of play, cuddles, and supervision, whether I’m hosting them or visiting them in their own familiar space.

“Jana does such a great job with Avenger. She spends great time with him, leaves detailed info on how things went and sends lots of pictures. Most of all, when we get home we know he was well taken care of because he’s so happy. Thanks again, Jana!”

About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up around dogs and have pet sat for many friends and family. I also have spent the last 8 years around cats as well: One of my dogs had Addisons disease so being around sick and emotional dogs is not a problem for me. I can also administer oral medication. I love being around and caring for animals. I am willing to work hard and make sure your dog is taken care of as if they were a part of my own family. I love playing fetch and just running around playing with dogs. I have no problem also spending my time with puppies in fact I would greatly enjoy it. I would also love to take your dog for walks even in cold weather. If you have a cat I would enjoy spending time playing with them and I am willing and able to scoop, change, and sweep up cat litter as this is something I do on a daily basis for my own cat Leo. I hope you will consider me. I am currently a student so as long as I am not in class I am free to check on your pets. Most of my classes are afternoon and evening but there are sometimes breaks in between classes as well. I am also completely free on weekends. I would make sure to let your dog out or take them for a walk so they go potty. I would make sure they are fed and just generally spend time with them brushing, playing, or just petting. If the pet is a cat I would make sure to check and scoop the litter and make sure they have food and of course spend some time with them brushing or playing.

“Peggy was very nice and calm with our pups. She kept me up to date on her arrival time and sent texts and photos to let me know that the walk was going well. Our boy dog can be a little neurotic but seemed very relaxed under Peggy's watch. I'm glad to have found a good dog walker in the neighborhood.”

About: I'm patient, genuine, kind, and highly empathetic to animals. If there's a cat or dog in the street, I am capturing it and making sure it gets taken care of. I have experience with kittens, puppies, senior dogs, big dogs, playful cats, scaredy cats, and everything in-between. Owning over 10 animals in my own lifetime, and taking care of many others, I am confident in my ability to care for pets of any kind. I work from home only 3 days per week. I can work from my laptop. I have a highly flexible schedule that keeps me at home and able to be present. I can go for breaks or walks whenever, even on work days, as my work load is usually very light. I am available most weekends. I always am respectful, calm, and alert when it comes to taking care of animals. I am very clean, organized, and detail-oriented. I am very thorough and use my gut and instinct to make decisions. I try to get in tune with whichever animal I am with, listening to their specific needs.

About: In the past, I was trained as a Customer Advisor at Petco and worked at a doggy daycare afterwards, making me well experienced in warning signs for any allergies or illnesses and much more detail oriented than your average sitter. If ever needed, I can also provide knowledge on what are the best products to recommend for your pet to fit their specific needs. I have had animals my whole life and I know what it feels like to be away from home and miss my pets dearly. When your dog or cat stays with me, I will keep you updated as much as possible. Sending pictures and/or videos to make you feel like your little ones are still with you and that you haven't missed a beat!

“Awesome, reliable dog walker and super accommodating to my changing schedule. Highly recommend!”

About: Hey there! I am a 24 yr old property manager currently looking to help other fur parents out with pet care services as a way to earn extra money. I have had about 10 years of experience caring for cats and dogs or different breeds and sizes. I am adaptable when it comes to special instructions, patient, friendly, and I always carry a positive attitude. Good communication is a must for me so I know I am providing the best service possible. I love taking care of animals because it has become a way for me to relax from daily stressors, it improves my overall state of mind, and let’s be honest; who could say no to taking care of cute animals? I will make sure your pet feels happy, gets extra love with every visit, and I will accommodate any one of their needs. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of free time to provide services ranging from check ins to overnight stays, including last minute requests. In case of emergency, my community requires passcodes for entry and has security camera systems that I have access to, due to my position at the complex. I would of course be giving your pet my full supervision and make sure we keep busy during the stay so they’re comfortable and entertained.

About: I used to live with two dogs, birds, and now I live with three wonderful cats! I am very aware of the care all animals need and I’m absolutely going to give them as much affection as they allow/want while I do it. Right now my schedule is very available as I can set my own hours and don’t travel often on the weekends. I take care of my own animals on a daily basis, washing their wet food dishes every day. With our cats automatic appliances, I wash them and change them out about every week, and have to refill every other day. I will happily follow the owners/animals schedules. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible and that’s done by not disrupting their routine. I want to make sure the animals are cared for and safe (most of all!) If you are wanting me to stay in your home for a house sitting, just request that in a message—that should be no issue. :)

About: I worked at a dog daycare for 3 years, but I’ve been looking after my folk’s canine companions for longer than that. But the amount of times I’ve babysat adds up to about 5 years of dog care experience lol. I can handle most breeds big or small, and I look forward to meeting your furry friend-o’s! Currently looking for other employment, so for the time being I got plenty of time on my hands. I also look after my grandma’s dog when she’s away, but I’m usually free, again for the time being lol I’ll look after your dog the same way I look after my grandma’s dog when she’s away. I’ll feed them, take em out to do their business, and walk them if needed of course.

About: Worked at Guide Dogs of America, providing food, water, and bedding for animals while ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitored for signs of stress, followed strict handling protocols, and maintained a clean, sanitary environment. I currently am not able to find work because I am a student at UC Davis, but i am looking foward to caring for some animals. I make sure pets are well-fed, hydrated, and comfortable while following their regular routine. I provide exercise, playtime, and any needed medication or special care. Keeping their space clean, whether it’s litter boxes, bedding, or food areas, is a priority. I also ensure the home stays secure and pets are safe, happy, and stress-free. Regular updates and communication with owners help provide peace of mind while they’re away

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and bunnies. I love all animals and have provided care for a long time now. Overnight care is something I’ve done too. I work part time so I’m usually always available. With pet pet sitting experiences I usually check on the pets every 2-4 hours but can do whatever the owner prefers My yard is fenced in and I’m always super careful and listen to all the owners rules because every pet is different. Safety is important to me.

Andrea S.
“Andrea Saurer would make an awesome caregiver and great new friend/educator for you and your pet! Along with her natural love and empathy for all animals she also has years of hands on experience with our own family pet dogs. As well as a personal relationship with Cesar Milan, TV’s “Dog Whisperer”. Who taught her numerous valuable lessons in dog behavior and basic training. Andrea used these skills to rehab our dog Ace after bringing him into our home from some horrible living/health conditions. Exercise was a huge component to his rehabilitation. His transformation was way above and beyond just rehab. Ace became much more confident and built up into the healthiest dog we’d ever seen! With her love and skills I believe she would be a great asset to your dogs health and mental well being.”
