About: I got my first dog, Cookie, in 2017, but I had birds and fish as pets prior. I took care of most of the toys, treats, food and vet care for him. He is now around 11 and although I've moved out of the family home, I'm helping my parents transition him to senior care level: watching out for his joints and diet mostly. I've since moved in with my partner who has a 4 year old Corgi. He is a friendly, but high energy pup who would benefit from having other dogs around to play with. I sometimes dog sit my family dog with the corgi, so I am well versed in juggling puppy energy and training alongside senior care. I have a hobby photography background, so expect photo updates of your fur babies! AVAILABLE Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday weekend! 11/26-11/29 I'm currently mostly available on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) and holidays. Only looking to board/daycare one dog at a time right now, just so I don't overwhelm my own dog. May increase to more than one in the future! Mon-Thurs Availability: Daycare/House sitting - None. Boarding - Dropoff after 5pm Drop in visits, dog walking - Nights only, 8pm onwards. Fri/Sat/Sun Availability: Usually free all day for all offered services. Message to confirm. We have basic grooming equipment, if needed, to file nails, shave paw pads, and brush out fur. Weekends, I am able to spend more time with pets, like go on longer walks and visit pet friendly places (if you're ok with that). I have a fenced yard with grass/concrete area and an energetic Corgi for your dog to play with! I'm very respectful in others' homes and will strive to leave everything the way I found it or better. I am super organized and love relying on making to-do lists to keep track of all my tasks and responsibilities. I have a whiteboard dedicated for this at my home, but use my phone when I'm outside or in other's homes. I'm open to both crate-trained and not crate-trained dogs. For cats, I make sure the litterbox is always clean and try to play with them if they want. Additionally, I'm always mindful of entering and leaving homes, in case a pet makes an escape attempt through the open door. I'm very detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and take great notes. So I make sure I know exactly the type of care you want for your pet!

I’m able to spend plenty of time with them throughout the day, whether they want to play, explore the house, relax with the other pets, or simply have some quiet company. Because my schedule is flexible throughout the week, I’m also able to accommodate different routines and provide care that stays as close as possible to what your pet is used to at home. I will hold the leash tight if we meet any dogs or human on the way, if your dog is too excited I will use my body to block the sight.

I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats. I have a dog in my home country and I stayed with the dog for a few years. Now I am in the US and I am with my cat. My dog even came to the US, so I stayed with my dog then as well. All my friends have dogs and they sometimes bring their dogs to my home and I dog-sit them as well. So I have experience of both worlds, and the good part is my cat is quite comfortable with dogs and other pets because he has been with other pets from the day he was born. I am an expert in giving love and I adore them totally. I have been with different kinds of dogs and cats as well, so I know when they are a bit grumpy, I know what they need at a particular time. I highly recommend! I used to board my dog at professional commercial facilities, so this was my first time trying a home boarding setup through Rover. Our normal sitter wasn’t available and we were scrambling to find someone that could watch our 2 huskies for 2 weeks. Jon and Tatiana were responsive from the beginning which took a lot of stress off my mind. Not only did it seem like the perfect environment that my dogs were use to, but the regular pictures I was getting throughout our trip with their kids hugging my dogs and seeming to be very comfortable gave me an amazing sense of relief. Couldn’t recommend them more for the job they did watching my four-legged family members.

Our fur baby had a wonderful stay! Lai sent photos and videos everyday of her and it looked like she was happy, exercising, and well cared for. We had just moved to the area and were anxious to find a new dog sitter while we were going to be away on an international trip for over a week. Our dog has her own quirks, anxieties, and leash reactivity that make us picky about who cares for her. During the meet and greet, as I went over her care in great detail, Lai was very warm, understanding, and confident regarding the care of our dog. Our dog felt comfortable with her right away and that is saying a lot given how anxious she can be! Even at drop off, we forgot her dog bed, but Lai was very flexible and our dog was more than comfortable sleeping on the couch for the whole stay. Lai’s home has plenty of secluded outdoor green space and a quiet open neighborhood for walking. She also doesn’t take in more than 3 dogs at a time, meaning that more care and attention can be focused on her. Our dog needs to be fed separately due to resource guarding with food, but she has barriers to separate off areas if needed. Lai’s services were well worth the price, which afforded us the ability to relax, even thousands of miles away. We felt always that our fur baby was in good hands. We look forward to using Lai’s services in the future and would confidently book with her again!
