About: I got my first dog, Cookie, in 2017, but I had birds and fish as pets prior. I took care of most of the toys, treats, food and vet care for him. He is now around 11 and although I've moved out of the family home, I'm helping my parents transition him to senior care level: watching out for his joints and diet mostly. Only looking to host one dog at a time right now, just so I don't overwhelm my own dog. May increase to more than one in the future! I walk/feed my own dog in the morning before leaving for work. I drop him off at daycare once a week on Wednesdays usually, so he gets some fun time. My partner works nights and is at home but sleeps until the afternoon. He cares for the dog until I get back around 5pm. Since we work day and night shifts, there is almost always someone at home to care for our dog. We have basic grooming equipment to file nails, shave paw pads, and I brush out weekly to limit the amount of fur shed inside the house. Daily, we run a robot vacuum cleaner that picks up most of the fur. Weekly, we do a manual house cleaning where we blow out all the fur from the corners and under furniture and vacuum everything up. I try to pick something up for the dog (new toy or treat) whenever I go grocery shopping. Weekends, I am able to spend more time with pets, so we go on longer walks and pet friendly places. I have a fenced yard with grass/concrete area and an energetic Corgi for your dog to play with! I'm very respectful in others' homes and will strive to leave everything the way I found it or better. I am super organized and love relying on making to-do lists to keep track of all my tasks and responsibilities. I have a whiteboard dedicated for this at my home, but use my phone when I'm outside or in other's homes. I'm open to both crate trained and not crate-trained dogs. For cats, I make sure the litterbox is always clean and try to play with them if they want. Additionally, I'm always mindful of entering and leaving homes, in case a pet makes an escape attempt through my open door. I'm very detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and take great notes. So I make sure I know exactly the type of care you want for your pet!

“I’m so lucky to have booked with Amir. At the last minute, I found myself needing support walking my dog, Luna, for a week. We started with a “meet and greet” to get a feel for how things would go. Amir was great with Luna and she responded well to his kind and playful approach. As the week continued, Luna would stand at the top of the stairwell waiting in excitement for her walk. About: I've had dogs since 1998, I love dogs and love taking care of them. I had four small dogs before when I lived in Thailand. After I came here, I had another dog. I used to run with my dogs 3-4 times a day!! I love feeding and bathing them. I love all kinds of dogs and I wish to have a dog on my own again soon. I would love to host your dog(s) in our home while you are away and I will treat your dogs like mine too. I'm happy to send photos daily of your dog while you are away. I do daily walks (often three or four times a day) in my neighborhood. “Where is the option to select more than five stars?!?! My goodness gracious, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for Lorenzo and Anna. As someone who’s always had a home full of dogs and even run my own doggie daycare/overnight boarding business, I’m delighted to say that leaving my two rescue pups with this family was - hands down - the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. While driving my Greek Shepherd (Skye) and Mini Schnauzer/Yorkie/Bassett Hound mix (Piper) home from their stay with Lorenzo and Anna, I thought about what made their stay so uniquely wonderful. It wasn’t any of the big important things you’d expect; rather, it was all the small things that you’d never expect. For starters, Lorenzo and Anna are two of the best people you’ll ever meet. You’ll notice that right out of the gate - they give off the best kind of vibes, which explains why my dogs loved them so much. Skye and Piper are both two year-old rescues exploding with potential - but they have issues: Skye is terrified of people she’s never met; humans treated her horrifically before I met her and she’s still recovering from the trauma that defined the first two years of her life. Little Piper, on the other hand, has separation anxiety and a loud bark that she uses way too often and inappropriately. So for good reason, I was quite nervous dropping them off at a stranger’s home - would Skye try to nip Lorenzo? Would Piper squeal existentially at the front door and try to escape? Would they muster super-dog strength and pull on their leashes like the world was ending? Would they regress from all of the rehabilitation and training I’ve invested in over the last six months? Well it turns out that none of that happened!! Somehow, Lorenzo made Skye feel safe and comfortable and Piper had the freaking time of her her life. I honestly don’t know how they did it!!! I am giddy with gratitude because knowing my pups were in good hands meant that I could focus on what I needed to do while out of town. I loved all of the photos, videos, and written updates on how they were doing - it was so obvious to me that my pups were this family’s first priority. The icing on the cake came during my drive home with both pups loaded in the car. While I drove, Piper passed out in the front seat and had twitchy puppy dreams THE WHOLE WAY HOME while Skye stayed awake with a silly happy smile frozen on her face. I’ve had to leave my dogs with various families and their behavior on the way home was a clear sign of having been well taken care of and loved while I was gone. Then I got home and discovered the sweeeeetest Polaroid pictures of Piper and Skye - best surprise ever, they’re already hanging proudly on my fridge. Never have I been so pleased, truly. Thank you, Lorenzo and Anna!!!!”
