About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.

I’m safety-minded (secure leash/harness checks and close supervision), and I also add enrichment like sniffy walks, puzzle time, and basic manners reinforcement. Most importantly, I communicate—expect regular photo/video updates and quick responses, so you always stay informed about how your pup is doing. I keep a consistent schedule that works great for a routine-loving pup. Weekdays, I work 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with care available before work and after 2:30 PM. For Morgan Hill locals, I can also do a longer mid-morning check-in at 10:00 AM for potty, play, and a reset. Weekends, I’m free and can provide lots of attention, walks, and enrichment. Since I have a dog at home who isn’t comfortable with other dogs, I only offer care in your home. This setup is actually a big plus for many pets—your dog gets to stay in their own familiar space, stick to their routine, and avoid the stress of a new environment. I’m exceptionally comfortable with dogs who need a little extra patience. I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she was completely reactive when I first brought her home. With consistent training and calm handling, I’ve helped her make tremendous progress. While she still doesn’t love other dogs, she can be around them, and I can manage and redirect her safely. My dog will not be joining me while I watch yours; my wife will be taking care of our dog while I take care of yours When I’m in your home, I focus on: Keeping your pet on their regular feeding, potty, and walk routine Using a safe leash and harness checks before every walk Providing structured walks and play, plus calm downtime Following any training rules you use (crate, boundaries, commands, etc.) Sending regular photo/video updates so you always know how things are going. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, understood, and cared for—especially if they’re shy, sensitive, or reactive.
