About: I have a life time of experience around cats, dogs and numerous other animals. My dad, a retired veterinarian and animal physical therapist, taught me everything there is to know about caring for animals. While placing safety first, I offer peace of mind for you and create tail-wagging fun for your pets. I can take your dog out on walks, hikes and runs, or keep them busy indoors. During drop-in visits I can also take care of light household chores. I'm available Friday to Monday for drop-in visits and dog walks, and 7 days a week for boarding. I'm a homemaker with a flexible schedule. I can board dogs 7 days a week and do twice to 3 times a day drop-in visits from Friday to Monday. I'm also available for dog walks, weekend hikes or 3-mile runs. I'm comfortable around cats, all size dogs and breeds, as well as other types of animals. I have experience administering oral medications and light grooming for both dogs and cats. I have a sweet 4-year-old pup named Leia, who is incredibly friendly and absolutely loves everyone! I also foster tiny bottle babies through local shelters and have experience caring for many different types of animals. Throughout the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of rescues, including dogs, cats, snakes, and geckos—from newborn neonates to senior pets. I have over 10 years of veterinary experience, including working in general practice, emergency medicine, and ICU/specialty veterinary care. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special medical needs and administering medications, including oral medications and insulin injections. I understand how hard it can be to find someone you genuinely trust to care for your pets while you’re away. I'm semi-retired and take advantage of our beautiful central coast daily, either walking, hiking, or playing on the beach. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

I’ll take your dog for a walk and can bathe them if requested. ** Separate, Stress-Free Zone for small animal friends: To ensure a calm and secure environment, all guest birds and rabbits are kept in a completely separate room away from any dogs in the house. They will enjoy a quiet, predator-free space where they can feel safe and be nurtured. During the week, I work from home and have a flexible shift that ends in the early afternoons. On weekends, I'm home, and your fur baby will get plenty of walks and playtime. I live in a gated community in Morgan Hill and have a securely fenced yard for your dog to run and play. I keep the dogs in the house when I'm working, and there are plenty of couches for the dogs to curl up on and nap. At night, the dogs sleep in a crate inside the house. I'd prefer to use your crate to make your dog feel more at home, but I have a small and large crate available for dogs that don't have one. Small Animals (birds and rabbits) are kept in a separate room the entire stay. They will not have any interaction with any dog in the house.
