“Merryn did a great job watching our cat and birds. On the meet and greet she came prepared to take notes and asked good questions. During our time away Merryn sent lots of photos and described the daily interactions, complete with what treats and what toys they played with. Besides taking care of our pets, she also helped bring in packages and let us know if she noticed anything awry in the house. Recommended!”

One of my cats requires daily medicine, and we were able to trust Alyssa to take care of that. We came home to 2 happy, healthy cats. She also cleaned up some kitty vomit for us, so we didn't have any huge messes to clean when we came home. I would hire her again, and would recommend her to friends. Alyssa is a competent, reliable pet sitter and worth her prices (given my experience with less expensive sitters in the area, I think I'll be paying the premium going forward).”

About: Hi there! I’m more than your average dog walker, I’m the cool fur-aunt providing you years of vet tech experience and advice to help you with your pet! I have grown up tending to dogs, cats and horses my entire life. My passion for animals eventually became my profession. For the last 10 years I have worked in the veterinary industry, 8 of which I’ve been a Registered Veterinary Technician. I am highly compassionate and detail oriented. I thoroughly assess the comfort and needs of every pet I encounter and treat them as if they’re my own. I am skilled in all aspects of pet care including senior care, administering medications/medical treatments, general care and husbandry, feeding, playing, walking, bathing, you name it! I look forward to working with you and your fur babies! I currently work full time Monday-Wednesdays. I have lots of flexibility Thursdays-Sundays and could accommodate some services/care Wednesday evenings depending upon location. My days off are filled with caring for my own pets and riding my horses so I have plenty of time to work in serving you and your fur babies! I live walking distance to Harvey Bear Park where I can provide 2 mile minimum walks for pets. I am very cognizant of how dogs interact with one another on a walk and make sure all interactions are as safe as possible. In regard to in-home services, I am very attentive to detail on where and when I approach/enter your home. I will assess your pets response to my presence and tailor my entrances/exits to their needs as well as yours. I utilize fear-free handling techniques for medication administrations for pets who won’t take them readily in a treat.

I am good to walk, house-sit, and drop in on your furbabies, I am especially good with frenchies and smaller dogs but I also have experience walking bigger dogs! About: I grew up around dogs and have adopted and dog sit for other dogs for over 15 years. I can care for basic needs like feeding, giving prescribed medication, walking, and giving lots of attention and love. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and I often take long walks with my own dog so I would love to bring extra company. I'm also happy to walk any dog alone if that is your preference. I have a mini-golden doodle, 1 year old, and she is very friendly so I'm happy to bring her along walks with your fur baby if you are okay with it. I am also happy to walk your dog(s) alone if that is your preference. I always carry with me extra water and treats to make the walking experience the best possible.

“Jeannie did an amazing job! She responded quickly to our request, we met up and the animals took right to her. She checked in on them twice a day as requested while we were on vacation, and went above and beyond of what we expected. She took the dogs out to a local petstore for treats, took our refuse cans back inside, put packages inside, and we told her she was welcome to anything in the fridge, and she even replaced some drinks we had in there!! Our pets were clearly relaxed and well taken care of while we were away. I would recommend her services to anyone, and will use them again myself.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life up until our two passed away in the last two years. We were so lucky they lived to be 15 and 16! Couldn't have asked for more. I have had cats my whole life too! We absolutely love our little Mink. I also own two cows and am comfortable with feeding livestock, Please reach out for details! I used to volunteer at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter in the dog area. I have no problem with dogs of different sizes and breeds, I know how tough it can be to leave our pets and I hope to provide some relief so you can enjoy time away knowing your pets are safe and happy. I'm a stay at home Mom and my schedule is quite flexible, especially while my two boys are in school. Monday thru Friday between 8am to 2pm. I'm also available for evenings check in and feedings. Weekends also! My schedule will be updated with my availability. I am able to go to my clients home and take care of your pets. I will make sure they have everything they need in your absence.
