About: I've taken care of animals since I've graduated high-school. I'm an animal lover and have taken care of the smallest animals to the biggest. I am willing to go the extra mile for your babies and give plenty of updates. I currently work part-time, allowing me to offer overnight stays as well as morning walks and morning and evening feedings. If your pet requires additional care during the day, I can also accommodate drop-in visits. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I do my best to keep their routine familiar, comfortable, and stress-free while you're away. I provide care in my clients' homes to help pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. During the first few days, I make an effort to spend extra time with your pet to build trust, learn their routine, and help them feel secure while you're away. I follow all feeding, exercise, and medication instructions carefully and maintain a clean, safe environment. I prioritize your pet's well-being by providing companionship, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention while respecting your home's rules and routines. For overnight stays, I ensure pets have consistency, comfort, and supervision throughout the evening and morning.
“Mike took good care of our two older dogs. They were happy and healthy apon our 5 day return and the house was great as we left it. He got packages from outside that werent supose to be delivered so that was great too. He showed up on time and stayed until our agreed upon touch down of flight very late the last night. Knowing he lives in the town we do also is nice. We will definitely get him to stay again if he's free next time we need a sitter. He even fixed our tv remote/sound bar connectivity issues. Thanks Mike! Dana”

“From the moment our dogs met Megan they loved her. Extremely friendly and trustworthy. One of our dogs required medication which Megan had no problem administrating. We will definitely use her again.”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life, but I especially love dogs and cats. I help care for my two grand pups, a golden retriever, and a German shepherd mix. You can often find me walking around Gilroy with one or the other. I also have 4 cats, all rescued from the wild! I volunteer with feeding multiple feral cat colonies in town also. You’d think I have no time to care for other pets, but I’m RETIRED! 😬 I love it! And I’d love to help you with your pets while you work or just need a break! I’d love to love them! 🥰 I’m retired so I’m very flexible. The only times I am not available are Wednesday mornings until about 11, and Sundays until after 1:00 pm. I offer to come to your home to provide whatever care is needed, from walks and yard play, to feedings and kitty snuggles. Just let me know what is needed!
About: I was raised with all types of dogs around me including Labradors, chihuahuas, pit bulls, and terriers. I dog sit for a few family friends that trust me to care for their pets while they are out of town. I am currently flexible in my day to day schedule so I am available most of the week. I am open to do walks, drop ins, or house sit if needed. While I don’t have my own place to keep your dog, I am more than willing to care of your dog at your home. I have reliable references who have let me stay at their homes weeks-months at a time to care for their pets. While staying at your home or just checking up on your pets, I also take the trash out as well as bring in any mail/packages when needed while you’re away.
“Spencer was wonderful. Daily photos and words that gave us comfort that our Finn was doing well. I would hire him again and again. It’s been decades since we have needed a petsitter - and Spencer did everything to assure us he could handle the job.”

About: I have been taking care of pets for over six years. I have cared for fish, cats, and dogs. I have a big dog myself so large dogs do not scare me. I am great with animals and am more than willing to do house sitting, day time check ins, walking, bathing, etc.! I am about to graduate from school so I will be home all the time and will be able to stop by for house visits or to hang out with pets all day. Though for things like walking dogs would prefer to do that in the morning in order to beat the heat! I have a large fenced in yard with one dog to keep others company. My dog is crate trained and is non aggressive. In the house there is no chemicals or other harmful substances that pets could access. Additionally most cabinets and such are baby proofed so cats or other small pets would not be able to get in or trapped.
“We were so lucky to find Sara for our two-week trip. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but Sara completely put our minds at ease from the very beginning. They were professional, warm, and clearly wonderful with our two dogs. The best part was their communication—we looked forward to their daily photos and updates! It was so reassuring to see our boys happy and well-cared-for. We came home to a tidy house and two very happy dogs. We fully trusted Sara in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely be booking them for all our future trips. Highly recommend”

“Jamie was a caring, kind sitter and I felt totally confident after meeting her that she would take excellent care of my little dog. She was understanding and helpful while I was on vacation. A pleasure meeting and working with her on all arrangements!”

“Jessica did a great job taking care of our dog! She is very conscientious, caring and provided regular status updates and pictures. We will definitely ask Jessica to pet sit again. A true testament to Jessica’s unique qualities is that our pet missed her afterwards.”
About: I grew up surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens which taught me how to care for every animal with patience and love from an early age. I am calm, dependable, and connect naturally with pets, even the more shy ones. I have experience caring for both energetic puppies as well as senior pets, including giving medications and following special routines which I do for my own senior dogs. I always treat every animal like family and make sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe while you are away. Pet care has always been a part of my daily routine, and I love spending time playing with, walking, and caring for pets. I am a recent college graduate currently searching for work which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. I can provide care morning, afternoons, and evenings, and will happily adjust to your pet's needs and routine. I care for pets in their own home with much love and attention, following all instructions and routines closely in order to keep them at ease in the surroundings they know best. I prioritize their safety, happiness, and comfort while also treating your space and belongings with respect. Having cared for animals my whole life, I make sure every pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for while you are away so that they feel at ease.
About: I’ve cared for animals for over 30 years and have loved them since I was 5, when I got my first cat. Since then, I’ve cared for both dogs and cats—puppies, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable with all breeds and have plenty of informal pet-sitting experience through family and friends. As a remote professional, I’m home most of the day, so your pet will never feel alone. My environment is calm, playful, and full of cuddles (and walks!). I’m also comfortable administering medication and pride myself on being reliable, patient, and calm under pressure. I genuinely love being around animals—it brings me joy to care for them, walk them, and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day, which makes pet care a natural part of my daily routine. I start my mornings with a walk or playtime, and I take regular breaks throughout the day to give pets attention, cuddles, and outdoor time. Evenings are usually calm and cozy — perfect for a relaxing stroll or some quiet time together. My flexible schedule means I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs, whether that’s frequent walks, meal routines, or medication schedules. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is always the same — to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest, so their day feels familiar and stress-free. In my home, pets enjoy a calm, cozy space where they get plenty of cuddles, playtime, and outdoor walks. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would my own, keeping things tidy and peaceful while giving your pet lots of attention and affection. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and cared for.

“Rebeca did an amazing job house sitting and caring for our reactive dog, Ginger. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she was patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about Ginger's well-being. Caring for a reactive dog requires extra understanding and compassion, and Rebeca handled everything beautifully. She kept us updated throughout our trip with pictures and the sweetest stories about Ginger's day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, Ginger was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Our house was also in great shape. We are incredibly grateful for the love and attention Rebeca gave to Ginger and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet sitter. We will absolutely book with her again!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Miller walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Miller maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Miller choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
