About: I've had experience taking care of a variety of breeds, including mixes like a Shepsky, and pure breds like Golden Retrievers and Shar Pies. These experiences also inlcuded a rescue dog that was heart worm positive that required medication and extra care, as well as a blind senior dog that required an intensive special diet and medication schedule. About: Saturday Grace has been an avid cat-lover all their life. They currently live with mostly senior cats and have lots of experience with subcutaneous fluids, medication, and general senior cuddling. But fear not! Saturday has also fostered many kittens, including those abandoned by their mamas and in need of bottle feeding. Saturday is an all ages cat-carer. Saturday has recently discovered their love of dogs as well. They love providing care, short walks, and lots and lots of snuggles to their canine friends. Saturday does best with small and medium dogs. They only take large dogs if they don't need walks. When they are not entirely absorbed by pet-cuddles, Saturday can be found reading, writing, or attempting not to kill their garden. As a life coach and writer, I have a lot of flexibility. I'm available for morning walks or drop in breakfast visits starting at 7am and am available for drop ins the rest of the day. If I'm house sitting for your pets, we'll come up with an agreed upon schedule for when they need me home. If they need constant care and cannot be left alone, there is an extra charge. I appreciate being able to care for pets in their own environments where they feel safe. I will respect your home just as if it were my own. At our meet and greet will discuss any house care (ie: mail or plant watering) as well as any house rules (ie: Miffie isn't allowed in the office). I have been doing pet/house sits across the U.S. and around the world with THS for a few years now and really love it. Pet owners have really appreciated the care and training I provide and it makes me feel good to know that an owner can enjoy their pet even more after some basic behavioral training. I work from home (patent attorney) and make my own schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and going for walks as a work break. I'm very active and enjoy running with dogs and also Onewheeling (hoverboard) with dogs that love to run fast and for long distances. It's great exercise for all of us and the dogs always come back exhausted and ready for nap time. I have an enclosed backyard patio and an extra large doggy door so dogs can come and go as they please. I can also crate dogs that are not house trained and provide frequent potty breaks/walks.
