About: With over five years of dedicated experience, I've cared for a wide range of furry, feathered, and scaled friends, from energetic puppies and cuddly cats to exotic birds and reptiles. I'm passionate about providing personalized attention, ensuring every pet receives their favorite treats, plenty of playtime, and comfortable routines. Owners consistently praise my reliability and the genuine bond I form with their beloved companions, always leaving them with peace of mind. As I'm currently unemployed, I have complete flexibility to dedicate ample time to your beloved pets. I'm available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight stays at any time, seven days a week. Your pet will receive undivided attention and consistent care throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities for play, exercise, and companionship. I can easily accommodate last-minute bookings and extended care periods. When caring for pets in their own homes, I prioritize maintaining their familiar routines and environment. This includes adhering strictly to feeding times, administering any necessary medications, and engaging in regular walks and play sessions tailored to their energy levels. My goal is to provide a secure and loving atmosphere that minimizes any stress associated with your absence, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for until your return.
About: Your pet will be wrapped in love every second they are with me 🐾🐶 I treat every fur baby like they’re part of my own family—with endless cuddles, happy dances, belly rubs, and all the love their heart can hold. 💕 With 2+ years of professional experience at a pet boarding facility / doggy daycare and over a decade of rescuing and raising animals, I’m confident caring for pets of all sizes and ages - from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. At home, I’m a proud pet parent to two big lovable Pitbulls, a playful Frenchie, and a sassy cat … so I’m no stranger to managing different personalities. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, or just needs a little extra TLC, they’ll be in experienced, loving hands with me. Currently I am working part time! I am usually available Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday Morning! Tuesday and Thursday: 6am - 3pm Sunday 6am to 11am Your pet’s safety is my top priority! During walks, I always use secure, properly fitted leashes/harnesses, avoid unsafe or crowded areas, and stay alert to surroundings. For drop-in visits, I double-check doors, gates, and food/water needs, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and calm before I leave
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and started walking them when I was 10. Three years ago, I adopted my own cat, and I currently dog-sit my aunt’s dog regularly. I have experience feeding, walking, and providing companionship for pets, and I love spending time with animals to keep them happy and safe. I am available most days and can provide pet care anytime. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am in college part-time but am free after 4 PM. Other than that, I am available anytime and flexible with short notice requests. I care for pets in their own home by following the owner’s routine closely. I feed pets on schedule, walk dogs, clean litter boxes, and provide plenty of attention and playtime. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

About: Hi! My name is Alexis, and animals have always been one of the biggest joys in my life. I absolutely love dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have two dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and commitment that pets need every day. If you know me, you know I’m the person who gets excited every time I see a dog on a walk or a cat lounging outside. I’m always the first one asking if I can pet a dog, and I never pass by a stray animal without trying to make sure it has food, water, or a little kindness. My love for animals is genuine, and spending time with them never feels like a job to me. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for my own pets when they’ve been sick. Whenever one of my cats or dogs needed medication, special care, or extra attention, I was usually the one making sure they got what they needed. Because of this, I’m comfortable following care instructions and being patient with pets who may need a little extra support. In addition to my experience with animals, I work in healthcare, which has taught me the importance of responsibility, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to pay attention to details, follow routines, and provide quality care—skills that I bring with me when caring for pets as well. I’m often the go-to pet sitter for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable to care for their pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, medication administration, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! Pet care fits really naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work night shift, which means my days are usually free and very flexible. Because of that, I have plenty of time and availability to dedicate to walking, drop-ins, and spending quality time with pets during the day. I actually love that my schedule allows me to be fully present when I’m caring for animals—I’m not rushing between work or distracted by a 9–5 schedule. I can give pets my full attention, whether that means morning walks, midday visits, feeding routines, playtime, or just keeping them company and making sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. My routine also makes it easy for me to be consistent and reliable with scheduling. I’m used to balancing responsibilities and working odd hours, so I’m very organized and good at sticking to care instructions and time-sensitive routines. Overall, my flexible daytime availability makes pet care a perfect fit for my lifestyle, and I really enjoy being able to spend that time doing something I genuinely love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and as relaxed as possible while their owners are away. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can keep things consistent and familiar for them. I approach every visit with patience and calm energy, letting pets warm up to me at their own pace. Whether it’s feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, or just spending quiet time together, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. I’m also very detail-oriented when it comes to following instructions. If a pet has a specific feeding schedule, medication routine, or special care needs, I make sure everything is done exactly as requested. I have experience administering medications and caring for pets with extra medical needs, so I’m comfortable handling those responsibilities with care and reliability. While I’m in the home, I also make sure everything stays clean, respectful, and as you left it. My goal is not only to care for your pet, but to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands and your home is being respected. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own—always with love, patience, and attention to their unique personality.
“Hector is amazing, he took care of our dog, provided regular updates, and asked great question both ahead of time and during the visit to ensure everything was just as we hoped for. Appreciate him so much. He even noticed it was trash day and took our bins out for us after asking if that was okay. Super awesome!”

“Laura went above and beyond taking care of my dog. Spending extra time, sending fun photos and taking long walks with her. Laura was prompt, thorough and caring - a true professional!”

About: I had a boston terrier and doberman as pets. Though I don’t have professional experience in taking care of dogs, I love taking care of people and pets. I’m open to learning, observant, communicative. I’m a nurse who works 3 days a week, studying part time and I am seeking for tasks I can do during my free time. I currently do not have pets at home right now. I have more interest in walking pets and drop-in visits. I also have the patience and strength to wall bigger dogs as I had a doberman who was 1-2 yrs old.
About: I understand pets aren’t just animals. They’re a part of us we often make family. So I will take care & love them as such🐾🐈⬛🙏. I have free time all week as of now. That’s no problem. I work from home at night/flexible schedule that I often choose for myself. I am looking forward more to dog walking. But I respect and follow rules. Everybody cares differently for their pets, so I make sure to follow what they ask me to, I love animals so it’s no problem.
About: Hi there! I'm Joanna. I have experience in training puppies as well as watching over senior dogs. I can say I have a lot of patience and I understand how some dogs can be timid at first, but no worries I'm here to help bring out their confidence! I have always spent my time with dogs from a very young age. My dogs enjoy it when we go out for a hike, walk, or play dates at the dog park and I can definitely provide that for you if requested. Trust is one of the most important things and I know I will be able to provide that for you and your fur baby. I am a full-time student, but since the classes I'm taking are online, I can still be attentive to your fur baby at any moment! I currently only live with my small-sized dog, Archie. He is super friendly and enjoys going on walks, especially when he walks with other dogs. I understand how important they are in our lives and I definitely consider my dogs as my children so I would treat your pets just as how I would treat mine! I understand how every dog is different and they have different routines, but booking with an experienced dog sitter will ensure they get their needs met while giving you peace of mind!

About: I’ll love your pets as deeply as I love my own🐶💕 This is more than a hustle to me, it’s my passion. • Lifelong dog owner with hands on experience as a dog trainer, farrier, wrangler, pet sitter, foster, and caregiver. I’ve also worked in dog boarding facilities and with private pet owners, while volunteering at shelters, rescues, ranches, and stables. • Home 24/7 – Your pet will always be in my care and never left wondering where I am. • Single-story home with a secure yard for safe play and relaxation. • Two friendly dogs of my own who love making new friends and can provide great companionship if your pup enjoys socializing. (can be definitely separated, if needed) • Experienced with animals of all sizes, ages, personalities, puppies, seniors, and those with special needs. My animals have always come first.. they eat before I do, every single time. Their happiness, safety, and comfort are my top priorities. Working with animals has taught me patience, situational awareness, and how to understand the quiet, nonverbal ways they communicate. I truly believe every pet deserves to feel loved, safe, and understood while their family is away. I would be honored to earn your trust, care for your furry family member like my own, and hopefully become their new best friend. 🥰 -I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule to attend to your dog's needs. - My home is completely fenced in - safe for your dog to roam and run around supervised. -Can easily crate or separate the dogs if needed. - Neighborhood is safe and dog-friendly - No kids or cats in my home - Have my A/C on constantly (necessary with the summer heat!) - Usually only book 1 client at a time to ensure I give your dog the best attention. I have a fully fenced yard, and two very friendly dogs. If needed, my pups definitely can be separated, or crated. In my client's home, I follow every rule and expectation they imply. I take extra precautions being in the client's home, as I dont want anything to happen to any of their stuff or their furbaby.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for more than 10 years plus helping others in need with theirs when ever possible I’m a go getter I’m currently helping my grandma at her house while raising my teenage daughter so I am looking for flexible jobs with animals I really love I have two dogs of my own that I take care of as well they go for walks and are spoiled with so much love
About: What sets me apart is my deep commitment to following your exact routine. I am attentive to detail whether your pet requires a strict medication schedule, extra potty breaks, or highly specific care instructions. I truly love animals and focus on giving them my undivided attention, plenty of affection, and the dedicated time they deserve. I am able to care for animals at least 5 times out of the week for 4-6 hours. Depending on the days required, I do have school at certain times a week. I have hobbies and obligations to do as well. I believe 4-6 hours is time that I do have depending on the day of course as mentioned. I could possibly even spend a full day if needed. Again this depends on the day of the week and month. The reason I can’t take in animals at my own home is because I simply don’t have enough space or else I totally would! Also, the baby of the bunch doesn’t do well with new comers. I feed my cats at least 3 times a day they beg like they haven’t eaten in days I might add. They often let me know when they want things by getting my attention and running to the bowl or to their toys or the door to be let out. They have a litter box with cat pellets so It doesn’t stink up the entire house. Laser pointer sessions and dangling cat toys are their favorite. Yes of course the box the cat trees come in are more fun than the actual tree. Cat trees are replaced often, my cats love to chat with me when I talk they talk back. They love wet food every twice a week with many ingredients. My dad’s dog I take care of while he’s on 1 year vacation loves hiking trails that I usually walk on haha. He prefers the best of the best kinds of dog food won’t eat anything else! He’s a good boy and they’re sometimes good cats since they like to knock things over every once in a while or try and pick at my food when I’m on a quick bathroom break. All in all it’s easy to take care of animals in my opinion my cats were not easy to take care of as kittens they needed a lot done and one of them always had issues with her bladder and glands. She’s better now thanks to God and me for the outrageous bills. I’d do it for every animal if I could but I just don’t have enough resources or money to do so. I do love animals and they deserve joy, a wide environment, and amazing care while they’re living and breathing.

“Mayra was great! She met with me before the engagement to meet my dogs and make sure she knew what they needed, and communicated after each walk. Best of all, both of my guys were relaxed and happy to see me without being frantic when I got back. That's the real sign of a great sitter. Will definitely use again.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - San Fernando
I booked Ana to take care of my cat while I was away and it was my first time using Rover. She was very communicative, the meet and greet went well, and my cat totally trusted her off the bat. She paid close attention to detail while following my pets regular routine and my pet felt right at home while I was away. Would definitely trust Ana to take care of my cat again, she was great!

Jamie helped us out by looking after our shih tzu and cat during a week long trip. The 2x a day home drop-ins he provided went smoothly, without a hitch. We returned home to a happy dog, mail brought in and trash taken out. We'd call on Jamie again for any future travel plans.

Andrea took great care of our two kitties while we were away; we’d definitely book with her again! She’s a great communicator and is also very punctual. She has a calm and grounded energy and our cats came out to greet her right away at the first meet and greet. Thank you, Andrea!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
