“So grateful! This was my first time using Rover and I am thrilled with the match. Kathryn was awesome and took great care of our kitten. Our kitten was happy and very relaxed and this made for an easy transition. Kathryn kept us up to date with sweet pics which made it even easier to enjoy the trip and not worry at all about a thing. Kathryn also took wonderful care of our house. She even noticed some of our plants needed water and offered to take care of that. Very much looking forward to working with Kathryn again and Peanut has made a fast new friend.”

About: Ambidextrous (dog, cat, all!) pet lover here to make sure your best friend is happy, healthy, and safe while you're away. Playtime, mealtime, and pets; multiple days or a quick one-day drop-in, I'm here for it. I pride myself on having great pet energy, and reading/respecting their body language. I'm currently working part time from home in San Rafael, so I have a flexible schedule for drop-ins: walks, meals, playtime/inside/yard exercise, or just a bit of human interaction are all on the menu. I take locking doors and windows seriously in my own home, for myself and my own indoor pet. I maintain the same level of care for clients.

About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! Let me help your dog get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always happy to customize walks to your dog’s needs and energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule varies a bit from day to day, but it’s consistent from week to week. I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!

“Leyla is very patient with Hana, she spends lots of time during the meet and greet to warm up with her. She took good care for my cat during the visit, would definitely ask her to look after my cat again if needed.”

“Anne was just so lovely, which really put me at ease leaving our 5 month kitten alone for the first time! She came out for a meet and greet, and our kitten was immediately comfortable with Anne. Anne visited on schedule, gave her food and played with her and left a clean litter box. I would highly recommend Anne, and look forward to working with her again! THANK YOU, Anne!!”

About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her needs as she has aged. So I understand that it isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I also care for feline friends at their homes while their families are away. I look forward to a fun walk with your dog in the neighborhood or on local outings as well as for your cat's meals, litter box and play. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where we can play and take a break together. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, I can administer that with a pill pocket or other snack but I will not administer injected medications or fluids.

“Devon was so great with my cat Peanut and helped me out when my other sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very prompt with her responses, came on time to feed Peanut, and sent the cutest updates and photos! Felt super comfortable leaving Peanut in her care and would definitely recommend her services! Thank you!!”

“Caroline was on time for all visits and sent lots of photos! She made sure my cat was comfortable in the heat by adjusting windows and fans. I will definitely hire her again.”

“Trisha was lovely to work with. Her professionalism and care for our cat exceeded all expectations! She went the extra mile and really connected with our little guy when we were out of town. She sent updates and photos every check in. We were so happy to have found Trisha and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a thoughtful, kind and caring pet-sitter.”

“Hoi was fantastic. She was thoughtful, reliable, and a great communicator all throughout the process. She even went above and beyond by swinging by briefly before the visit to ensure everything was all set. It was a relief having someone we could trust while we were gone, and I'd definitely have Hoi come to check in on our cat again next time we need a sitter. Thanks again, Hoi!”

“If you have any doubts about leaving your furry friend in the care of a home sitter, Marisa will put your anxieties to rest. She took great care of my good buddy Gus the Cat, hanging out with him, giving him treats, and sending daily images of the little guy. I simply could not be more pleased, or grateful.”

“Lydia did a stellar job! She is reliable, on time and a she understands how to take of a cat, which is rare. I can tell she was here and actually paid attention to our cat because of the cat’s behavior when I got home. I would recommend her to another cat owner”

“Leonard dropped in to check in our cat while we were away for the weekend. He was very communicative, provide photos and made sure to spend time playing with our girl :) he also helped out while we were away by bringing in packages and taking care of garbage day. We plan to use Leonard again for help with our pets!”

“We really appreciate Elena watching our cat for us while we were camping. We felt completely at ease knowing she was there. She was quick to update us when she got there and how it went when we returned. Have already rebooked her for next month!”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

“Amber did an amazing job caring for my cat Moo. Although he’s very easy he requires medical food and diabetic injections, not easy! But Amber did a great job and Moo was totally relaxed when I returned home. Will definitely be contracting her for future visits.”

Sam listens to what my training goals are for my dog, and he stays consistent with his training, which is VERY important to me . Sam is a great, trustworthy guy who has a huge heart for animals!”

Thomas L.
“We are so lucky that Thomas is our most trusted caregiver for our dog child, Sandy, and home sitter for our spot in Sebastopol, CA. After considering our long list of good friends, colleagues, cohorts and family, we always only ever call Thomas and honestly if he's not a available, we postpone our trip until his schedule opens up. He's really the only one we trust to exercise Sandy and provide the loving attention we would if we were home. He's also very attentive to plants, all types, and our chickens ~ which we were so grateful he knew how to manage. Thank You Thomas for being so exceptionally attentive and caring!”
