About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

“Thank you Ava and great communication.”

“Wendy was so accommodating and helpful for our last minute need. She was so awesome with our pups and we had full confidence in her care. She was a great communicator. We would use her again next time we are in Bellingham!”

About: I grew up with a dog and chickens so I love being around furry creatures. I’ve spent several years taking care of family friends’ pets of family friends including walking and feeding. So I am good at adapting to different environments, needs, and temperaments. It’s important to me that your dogs get enough mental enrichment in addition to physical exercise. Like scattering treats for your dog to find, practicing tricks and command cues, and plenty of sniffing on walks. I really love getting to know new dogs and figuring out what they love. I am available weekdays and weekends for house sitting, walks, or drop-in visits. I work part-time at a restaurant and doing yardwork, so my afternoons and evenings are free for walking and playtime. I am also available for early morning walks! The most important thing for me is to ensure the safety and comfort of your dog, I am really careful about anything I bring into the home and anything left unattended. I also try to be mindful of any routines your pup might have.

“Samantha was great! Very good communication. My dog Ochi was very happy and unstressed when I got home. Would definitely book again! Thanks”

About: I am a self employed therapist and I would consider myself to be an animal empath. From the time I was 3 years old and fell in love with my first dog, a beagle named Lolli, animals have played a huge part in my life. For many years I volunteered at the PAWS animal shelter in Lynnwood, where I got loads of experience walking practically every size and breed of dog. I have 12 years experience housesitting/dog/cat sitting for friends and clients when I lived in Bermuda, as many people travel on and off the island. I was inspired to come to Rover as my beloved dog of over 15 years went over the rainbow bridge a few months ago. I soooo miss our walks and of course his special dog energy! I got to meet so many people in my neighborhood thanks to Jackson. I've had many dogs, including my own, who needed daily meds. As a massage therapist, I can give your dog therapeutic touch. I'm very active and I'm comfortable walking most any size/shape of dog. I also have a portable stroller for your elder dog (under 40 pounds) so they can still get outside and enjoy a walk! I've been self employed since 1994 and I'm responsible and trustworthy, while maintaining a good sense of humor! I look forward to meeting you and your four legged friends! I am currently self employed and I can set my client appointments to accommodate your pet's walking/care schedule. This gives me good flexibility for morning/evening walks, or daytime visits, etc. I am currently not boarding pets at my home. I am happy to house sit for you in your home so that your dog(s) is comfortable in his/her own environment.

About: I've had dogs of my own for a little under three years but have been around dogs and loving them for 15 years. I'd love to be able to take your furry babies on my walks during the day, or watch them for extended periods. I am not able to have pets with my current living situation so I a lot of love and energy to give to your sweet pets. I am currently and full time grad student in Geology, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I like going on daily walks and would love a dog to join me. I don't leave town very often so I am around to help pet sit when needed. I also I'm starved for dog and kitty interaction since I am not able to get a car or dog of my own at the moment. So lots of loving energy to give. I am not able to care for other animals in my house but I am able to go to other houses to look after your pets if you leave. I make sure to have detailed lists of medications, feeding preferences and other important information written so I always know how to properly care for your pets. I also make sure ask and really try to understand each animals individual personality so I know the best way to interact with them.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats, and I have a cat of my own! I have always loved taking dogs out on walks and snuggling with cats. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, and the odd reptile or bird, and I love getting the opportunity to gain more experience! I am available weekdays and weekends currently, and when school starts in late September, I will be available only on weekends and weekdays after 4pm. I live in an apartment complex that has a fence around the entire property. There’s a courtyard for dog walking/relief, and my apartment is pet friendly since I own a cat of my own. I walk dogs often, and feed my pets on every morning and night. I have a harness for my cat since he likes going outside, and I know not all cats like that. I give plenty of attention to my pets, and I might spoil them once in a while!

About: I’ve always been surrounded by pets, as my father is a veterinarian. I grew up with dogs and cats, but have been around pets ranging from lizards to quails. I’m a bigger guy who can handle stronger animals if needed. I am currently on break from university and have lots of time on my hands! I am available to take care of animals everyday for the summer months, up until mid September. I cannot bring animals over to my apartment, as it is small and I share it with others. I am however happy to stay and take care of any pets that might need more consistent care. I am happy to do overnights or just visits, and have a car that I can use to take any pets anywhere they might need or want to go.

“Mallory has been walking my dog for nearly a year and they are always on time, dependable, and communicative. They make sure to take cute photos and I can tell how happy and safe my pup is with them. I’d recommend them to anyone!”

“Maddy has been an amazing addition to my busy routine! Highly recommend her. My dog doesn't usually like or trust people off of her first meeting, but she instantly fell in love with Maddy.”

Laura C.
“I’ve known Laura through our work in massage therapy, and I can say without a doubt that she brings the same care, professionalism, and heart to her work with animals as she does with people. She’s incredibly responsible and detail-oriented, always showing up on time and going the extra mile to make sure others feel safe and cared for—whether they’re two-legged or four! Her love for animals shines through in everything she does, and I’d trust her completely to look after any pet like they were her own.”

Kelly J.
“Kelly has watched my two cats on multiple occasions and done a great job. My senior cat is a diabetic who requires twice daily insulin injections. My second cat has IBS requiring special food, and supplements and at times multiple medications to help his system. She has cared for him during his flare ups when he required medicine every 6 hours. I trust her implicitly with my cats. Kelly does a great job following food and medicine instructions. She also does a great job spending time with them and playing with them. They are always happy and healthy when I come home.”

Allie T.
“Allie has responsibly cared for dogs and cats. She ensures dogs get exercise and outside time. She is often seen taking the dogs on hikes and camping trips She also loves cats and cats love her too. He is getting socialized really well with other people and some other pets. Allie is a responsible young adult that I completely trust to care for my pets”
