“Brandy is amazing! I didn’t update my address on Rover and it sent her to my old spot and she still drove to my current address and walked him for me. I would 10/10 recommend her and will continue to use her services when needed. Thank you, Brandy, for taking such good care of my baby. 🥰”

“I am so proud and amazed by how far our puppy Merle has come with Linda! For a not-so-trusting puppy, Linda has been making such a difference. From all the sweet pics and daily walk updates it sounds like he has opened his trust fully! And his walking at home has gotten SO MUCH BETTER! About: I've had both small and large dogs since I was a kid. My sister had a Golden Retriever service dog most of my childhood and I was able to pick up on dog behaviors very quickly. I currently have a 7 month old miniature dachshund named Ozzy who I have raised and trained since 8 weeks old. I'm very comfortable with puppies and can crate your pet if necessary! I am able to devote my entire day to making your pet comfy! I can also run out and take your pet's on a walk, pretty much any time of day! I have a full fenced backyard and a 2 bedroom house that can be used to separate animals as necessary! I will have my dog and two adult cats around who are happy to give a new friend a cuddle or an engaging play time!

“Marissa takes great care Juno, communicates thoroughly with me, and has jumped in when we’re in need of a good walker last minute. Highly recommend Marissa!”

“Annabelle was great with my 2 dogs! There were no issues at all, I had a worry free vacation knowing that the dogs would be well looked after while I was away. Thanks again!”

About: With a strong sense for dog body language and behavior, I naturally bond with dogs and know how to keep them engaged, playful, and calm. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a senior companion, I tailor their care to suit their needs and give them a fulfilling, well-balanced day. My schedule allows me to maintain consistent routines for feeding, training, sleep, and potty breaks. I offer a variety of experiences from city parks to nature hikes, giving dogs exposure to a diverse range of settings. I also provide basic training support including crate, leash/off-leash, recall, sport-based games like fetch and frisbee, and even task-based and obedience exercises—skills I’ve developed through 10+ years of experience with dogs from puppyhood to senior stages. As a graduate student currently on summer break, my schedule is wide open—and I’ve intentionally structured my time to prioritize pet care. I’m available for care throughout the day, whether that means early-morning walks, mid-day play sessions, or overnight sitting. My flexibility allows me to tailor routines around your dog’s unique needs, whether they’re energetic and need lots of stimulation or prefer a slower, calmer pace. I spend much of my time outdoors, and I love incorporating dogs into that lifestyle—hiking scenic trails, visiting off-leash parks, or just taking long neighborhood walks. I believe dogs thrive when they experience new encounters, and I work those moments of enrichment into every week. I live in a spacious, first-floor apartment with direct access to a secure patio and a neighborhood dog park—just steps outside my door. This makes potty breaks, quick outdoor play/walks, and socialization seamless and stress-free. Every day, our neighborhood hosts friendly dog meetups with well-behaved pups, offering perfect opportunities for your dog to engage with others in a safe environment. Inside my home, dogs will find a clean, calm, and organized space with plenty of enrichment. I have a variety of toys, training tools, puzzles, and games to ensure your dog stays mentally and physically stimulated—the goal is for no boredom and anxiety. I also keep a full range of grooming and cleaning supplies on hand, so whether your dog needs a simple wipe-down or a post-adventure bath, I’ve got it covered. I am well-versed in training methods and behavior management, so if your pup has specific routines or commands, I likely already have the knowledge and equipment to maintain their structure. I’m happy to reinforce crate training, leash manners, or any custom instructions you provide to ensure consistency while you’re away. I also have a well-socialized golden retriever mix who’s incredibly calm, friendly, and trained to model great behavior for other dogs. If your dog enjoys companionship, mine makes an excellent playmate. If needed, I can crate or separate the dogs for one-on-one attention or downtime—your dog’s comfort and safety always come first.

“Friendly! Max enjoyed his walks. She had water for him too.”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life; some of my earliest memories are sitting on my family's back porch with a freezer pop and my arm slung over the shoulders of our big Great Dane. Formerly a Humane Society employee and currently a fitness trainer, mom, pet foster person, and rescue volunteer with a flexible schedule, I am dependable, hard-working, and a great communicator. I have experience with and am happy to care for cats, dogs, reptiles, and chickens. I would be honored to help provide the care and attention that will keep your pets healthy and happy. Contact me to book or set up a meet and greet - I'd love to meet you and your pets! As I am self-employed, I have a flexible schedule for pet care on a daily and weekly basis. I am available on both weekdays and weekends. I adhere to all safety and environmental measures you have set up for your pet and home, including crating, home security, monitoring, and other measures.

“Jennine was wonderful! She was on time, provided cute updates and photos, and did a meet and greet ahead of time before we went on vacation. I highly recommend Jennine for any of your pet-sitting needs.”

About: I’ve been honored to call a tabby cat named Gata and a pit bull named Louie my best friends in this lifetime. I know how much your fur babies mean to you because I know how much mine mean to me and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness! I am experienced with other animal reactive pets and understand how these special buddies require patience, love, and understanding. Rest assured that as a social worker, I have endless patience and compassion to give to your fur babies. I look forward to becoming your pet’s newest best friend! I work full time and my schedule changes a bit but I can usually accommodate walks/drop ins before 9am and after 7pm. Afternoon walks/drop ins can be accommodated, we'll just need to discuss the best time for them. Because my schedule is a bit more unique, I'm big on communication and am open to discuss in advance any scheduling preferences. I am only offering drop in and walking services at the moment so I can give your pups and kitties some direct love, play, and attention in the comfort of their own home and environment.

About: Hi there! I’m Mikayla and I love love love dogs! I’ve grown up with dogs around me all of my life but I haven’t been able to adopt my own since moving out into my apartment. I still visit and walk my friends’ dogs any chance I get but I really want to bring that love to more fluffy friends! I’m here for whatever your pup needs! I love hiking, so I’m down for a walk on a trail that will leave your dog exercised and enriched. But I also have owned a senior dog with hip-dysplasia so I know how to keep that slow pace and pay attention to the tired signs for the ones that need it. Whatever you need, I’m here for your pup! I work a full time job that is remote 3 days a week (M,Th,F) so I have plenty of time to walk your pup before or after work or even during lunch time! My weekends are typically free so I can also get them that exercise then! Paying attention to the signs is the most important thing! I watch dogs’ body language to see if they’re too overwhelmed or tired for the activity and make decisions based on that!

About: Building lasting relationships through personalized attention, reliable communication, and treating each pup as my own beloved companion, ensuring their happiness and your peace of mind! I grew up in a "more animals than people" household, so I've always been very accustomed to tending to the needs of various types of animals such as dogs, cats, rodents, and reptiles, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave them home while you're away. One thing you can guarantee I'll say just about every time I leave the house is "I wish I could text my dog." That's why I'm committed to regular communication about your pet and providing you with adorable update photos. I would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your furry (or not-so-furry) friend! I'm currently a part-time student and not working aside from pet sitting, so I have lots of time to hang out with your pet. I am unavailable for full time long-stays outside of my home, but message me and I would love to work with your needs to the best of my ability! My usual visits include a walk and/or playtime - to relieve any boredom, get their energy out, and provide exercise - a feeding if necessary, and I refresh their water at each visit. I always bring treats, and will ask about potential dietary restrictions in advance. I also like to dedicate a minimum of 20 minutes to sitting with your pet and giving them my full attention to keep them company, providing pets, brushing, or other affection. That said, I love doing my best to provide comfort to the less cuddly pets I care for as well. Some pets respond to their humans being away by seeking affection and some need their space - I will always listen to and follow your pet’s individual needs!

Saint Johns dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marcella is the best! She did an awesome job walking my guy Jackson multiple times a day and giving him his meds and making me feel comfortable while I was gone. Highly recommend!

Charles is a great dog walker! He is very responsible and reliable and handles my energetic dogs well!

Wow - Joey was sincerely the greatest. His meet and greet was very comforting, and we face a lot of information. He made careful note of it all and then sent a summary message to me in river as we got closer to the trip if all the things I had discussed. We were then continuously at ease about pers as the days away went on. I love the rover app showing the walk distance and time spent. The videos he sent were really fun to watch, and he always gave a digestible but detailed report after each visit, again being careful to mention many of my notes throughout reassuring me that all was being handled. It was our first time to leave the dogs home alone and I am very happy with the exceptional care Joey took of my pets. We are new clients for sure.

Michael is so good with our animals! He walked our dog, but also was super friendly with our 2 cats. He's super responsive, and is always sending cute pictures. I'd recommend Michael to anyone needing pet sitting or dog walking!

Sarah was wonderful with my dog and also fantastic to work with! She is extremely responsive and reliable. Her communication is excellent (including lots of details and photos after each walk)! I will happily book her again!

Jamie is amazing and takes great care of Luna. She’s professional, reliable and actively communicates. She is patient with my senior dog and cares for her like one of her own. 5 stars Highly Recommend

Morgan was excellent! She gave me detailed summaries, and asked thoughtful questions during our meet n greet. She knows what she’s doing!

Kiersten was patient with me when I had to change dates last minute. She did great with the dogs and will definitely book her again!

Erica provided amazing care. She is a great communicator and went above my expectations for my senior pup. I highly recommend her!

Suzanne has been our first experience with Rover and the entire experience has been outstanding. They say that dogs are a good judge of character. If that is the case, then Suzanne is absolutely amazing! Beau LOVES Suzanne. You can tell that she genuinely cares for him. She spends extra time with him before and after their walk. She brushes his hair and sits on the floor, petting and talking to him. My husband and I are having health issues and Suzanne has helped us in many, many ways. I highly recommend Suzanne. She is diligent, very responsible, caring and compassionate. Thank you, Rover, for connecting us with Suzanne.

Send cute pictures and let me know he was doing well. Took an extra step to make sure he was comfortable going back in his kennel!!! 10/10!!!!

Waqas has been great with my dog and has been walking her for several months. She is a 50 lb black Lab that can be very reactive to other dogs on walks and pull hard. Waqas has a large dog at home and was just the right fit for sunny. Highly recommend!

Isabella was amazing! She was very responsive and flexible. Took cute pictures of my doggy, and kept me posted along the way. Will definitely book her services again!
