About: I have been taking care of ALL types of animals for 40+ years, but my favorites are cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. It makes my soul happy 😊 I am ready to love your fur baby as if it is my own! Throughout my life, I’ve owned just about every type of furry and not so furry animal you can imagine. Taking care of animals is what I’m passionate about. I can work pretty much any request into my daily schedule as long as I have proper notice. Check my calendar because I keep it up to date all the time. I will x out dates that I have pending requests, which usually means I’m just waiting to meet my clients before it’s confirmed. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I do live right across from a dog park and an open field/Grant Park where I take my little guy to run and play. I will follow whatever rules you have for your babies in your homes.

“Alyssa was the absolute best! We were oceans away and she made our day with all the pictures and updates of our Clarky boy. He looked forward to her visit everyday and really helped get the energy out of our big guy! Highly recommend - plus she is an absolute sweetheart”

“Devon was amazing with Roxy! She not only took her on a mile walk each time and included some cute photos, but also gave her some cuddles and played with her and her toys. My pup is skittish about new people but even on our first meeting, Roxy didn't take long to warm up to Devon. She's quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: You can also call me Lyly (Lily)! *Important note: I do fit Rover around my regular work schedule. I work 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts but am able to provide a potty break or drop in during my lunch when house sitting* I’ve taken care of dogs starting since childhood. Cleaning messes is normal. I can aid in training if owners have a training plan they would like followed. I have experience with puppies as young as bottle babies and no dog is too large. I love my senior dogs. I understand they may have physical limits, more frequent messes, medications, or just anything senior related. My cat experiences range from bottle baby to senior and no cat is too spicy! I also can provide care for small animals (guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc) if you happen to have them when booking for your other furry babies. I also have lots of experience with anxious animals. Pet care/dog walking is fitted around my work schedule. Schedule is: Tuesday through Saturday, I work 6:30am until 4:30pm (Tues-Thurs), Fridays are 10:30am-8:30pm, and Saturdays are 7:30am-5:30pm. My usual off days are Sunday/Monday. About: I have taken care of pets for almost 10 years. Family, friends, and also neighbors have relied on me to help when they need someone to watch their animals. I walked with dogs, clean cats litter and keep in contact with the owner literally everyday. It's either through text or photos and also a call. Whatever the owner needs or wants for their pet I will do my very best for both to have a good experience without each other. I know how they feel being away from the pet as I have a pet at home. I am unemployed, and looking around. I have experience with pets as I have one of my own. I walk my dog three times a week. My family members who asked to watch their pet, have fences at their house. I always make sure everyday that it's locked. I do not have a fence in the backyard if I stay out with my dog to make sure she doesn't run.

“We have been having Jill come three times per week to walk our pup. She is reliable and communicative! We will continue to have her walk our fur-child.”

“Miranda is the best! She’s always on time and is great about giving me updates during walks. I’d definitely recommend her for anyone who’s looking for some extra help with their fur babies!”

I make it a priority to understand each dog’s routine, energy level, and personality so they feel safe, seen, and loved. I have experience with crate training, basic obedience reinforcement, and administering oral medications. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older dog or high-energy playtime for a younger pup, I tailor every visit to their unique needs. I'm an elementary school teacher who goes back to the grind in September. I'm open 7 days a week! I can swing by when the time is best! Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I aim to keep things calm, consistent, and tailored to your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain routines your pet is used to, and provide detailed updates with photos to keep you informed and at ease. My goal is to give your dog a stress-free experience, full of love and attention while you’re away.

About: Animals are one of my biggest passions in life! I've had birds, reptiles, dogs, cats, and currently have a bunny and guinea pig (Chunk & Beaker) who are COMPLETELY spoiled as they are my entire world. I provide the best care there is to animals because I know that they deserve the utmost love and respect. Currently I am available most of the time, unless stated differently on my availability. If you're going away on a vacation feel free to shoot me a text! I have a calm, laid back attitude and I'm good at staying flexible. I'd love to meet your wonderful pet/s! I work from home, so I have the ability to be flexible regarding sitting/drop in/walk requests. This also means I can take last minute requests (depending on the situation). I don't mins booking for a day, or two weeks! I'm open to most things. I give ALL the attention. Your pets will never get bored! I go for walks, play with toys, snuggle, feed treats etc. I am respectful of your space and your privacy, you won't even know I was there!

“Sarah is always great with Bosco! He always seems so happy when he finds out he is going to be able to spend some time with her. I just wish that I needed a dog walker more often so he could have more fun with her. Guess it's a great excuse to plan a vacation! (Sorry I forgot to post this months ago! I just noticed it when I tried to rebook you.)”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom who truly gets how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I have a reactive, fear-based pup myself, so I completely understand the nerves that come with finding the right person to care for your pet. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to treat your dog just like family, because that’s exactly what they are. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years. I’ve also fostered pups on and off for the last 5 years—from high-energy goofballs to shy, shut-down dogs who just need someone to sit on the floor and wait until they feel safe. I’ve cared for seniors with medical needs, managed meds, and adapted to all kinds of personalities and routines. Big or small, young or old—I truly love them all. My approach is always patient, kind, and tailored to what each pup needs to feel comfortable and happy. I don’t have family nearby, so I know how stressful it can be to find someone you trust. For me, discovering the right sitter on Rover was a game-changer, and I’d love to be that person for you. I work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care for your pet. While I typically work during the day, being home allows me to easily adjust my schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, or check-ins, especially with a bit of notice. I’m also generally available in the early mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I’m committed to caring for your pet in the way that makes them feel the most comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of routines, and I know how important it is to stick to what works best for them. Every pet is unique, and I always appreciate a heads-up about any quirks, preferences, or boundaries—those little details make all the difference. Routine is especially important when a new person enters their space, so I do my best to keep things calm, familiar, and stress-free. At home, my dogs are always separated during meals or when given chews. I use gates or kennels when needed to provide structure, allow for downtime, or give everyone a break. Otherwise, you’ll usually find them snuggled up on the couch with me or playing together—with plenty of belly rubs, of course.

“Our dogs really loved Elba when she came for a meet and greet and she was wonderful with our dogs! She was great at comminicating with us about their walk and we will definitely be using her again in the future!”

Courtney T.
“Courtney loves all furry creatures with her whole heart and soul. She currently is a loving mama to 3 cats and a dog, but given the time and space to responsibly have more, she would. I have witnessed her care for countless animals throughout the years. She possesses an innate ability to relate to an animal’s moods and needs in good times and bad. One experience that stands out is when a family member’s beloved pug was experiencing extreme heat stroke while on vacation, Courtney calmly assessed the situation, then personally took the necessary steps to get the dog stabilized initially and quickly get her into the care of a veterinarian for further care. When everyone else was freaking out, she knew exactly what to do and saved that dog’s life. In times that are not so serious, she is always ready to provide a pet, scratch, belly rub, treat, walk… you name it. My dog is tireless when it comes to fetch, and Courtney manages to tire her out. I highly recommend her to care for anyone’s furry friends.”

“Berenice was great with both of my dogs! She was able to walk them on short notice and quick to respond to messages. Would be happy to use her again in the future!”

Cassandra C.
“We’ve hired Cassie twice now, and both times she stayed overnight at our home to care for our cats. The first time was for a full week, and the second was a weekend, with an unexpected second cat added to the mix at the last minute. She handled both situations with professionalism and ease. Our cat is very social and doesn’t do well alone overnight, so having someone who “moved in” while we were away made all the difference. Cassie sent regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind. Each time we came home to relaxed, happy cats and a clean house. Cassie took the time to come meet our cat before the first trip and even came back for a “get reacquainted” visit before the second. She’s communicative, reliable, and clearly loves animals. We trust her completely with our pets and our home, and we'll definitely hire her again. We highly recommend Cassie to others.”

Cody W.
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Cody both as a teacher and as a pet owner for more than a decade - there’s a surprisingly amount of overlap in skills that makes someone great at both. He’s patient, a great listener, and meets the other person or animal at their level. I’ve seen him track down and coax out a skittish cat hiding in the drop ceiling of a basement with catnip and the promise of chin rubs. I’ve seen his ability to teach a wild puppy how to politely walk on leash and stop at all crosswalks. 10/10 would recommend.”

Devon is very communicative and professional. We appreciate their time and care for our dog Nala. We will be booking again!

First time using Rover. Elba was great! Our dog was so much happier getting walks at home than being taken to our event that day. Will use again!

Daniel is an excellent dog walker. My boy Reggie loved his walks with him. Daniel was good at keeping contact and communication. I would not hesitate to use him again for any services.

Elaine was wonderful! She was able to walk Penelope on short notice and I appreciated her communication. Will definitely book again :)

I am extremely pleased with Kristin’s dog walking services. It’s obvious she loves dogs and did everything she and I talked about. Casey really liked her during our initial meet and greet, and her photos clearly show he felt very comfortable with her when she was with him alone. If she’s available and willing, I’d definitely hire her again.
