About: Dogs have been a significant part of my life, holding a special place in my heart. Growing up, my mother was involved in rescuing dogs, and we even took part in fostering. This experience exposed me to dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've undergone basic dog training and share my life with a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog named Millie. Prior to Millie, we had a beloved hound dog named Evie, who was a cherished companion for 15 years. My love for dogs spans every age, and I appreciate the unique needs and characteristics that come with each stage of their lives. I currently work from home full-time however, my schedule allows for flexibility through the week day where I can be available for walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and snuggles. I would be happy to come get your pup out for a long walk before you return home. I would be happy to take your pup to a park to walk or around your neighborhood. I have a dog harness for safe traveling. I could also bring your pet to my home to play with my dog for a playdate. We have a nice fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to run. Our dog is wonderful with other dogs as well- big and small.

About: I've taken care of dogs , cats for both my own pets, my friends , and pet sitting jobs. Looking forward to being able to spoil more dogs and cats! I'm currently unemployed and aside from possibly interning at a animal shelter I'm relatively always available unless I have a plan set up in advance A house with a yard that is not fenced in . 2 cats already living there. About: I've had dogs since I was a child. I've had lots experience with potty training dogs. Many friends and family have trusted me with their pets (dogs, cats, lizards) while they were on vacation all in their own home. I currently have a large fenced in yard that my sheepadoodle loves to run around in and play fetch. All pets will be kept separate from each other during their stay. They will be cuddled and loved as our own! I work part time 2 minutes away from my home and come home around lunch time to let my dog out so I could very well let yours out as well. I have a large fenced in yard, I also have two large crates in our house and a larger cage in our garage to use if needed. Your pet would be kept inside our home and treated as our own.

Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
