Kim was great with our pup. He came home very happy. Trusting someone you don’t know well with part of your family isn’t easy. But from the moment I dropped my dog off, I knew instantly he would be loved and cared for. I had no fears leaving him and would absolutely recommend Kim as a sitter/boarder. My family does a lot of traveling and I would be more than pleased to have her watch him again!

Sabrina and her family are fabulous. Both of my dogs enjoyed their stay. When I went to pick them up, both of my dogs were excited to see me, and the one went right back up to their porch! I'd say he loved it!

I strongly recommend Alisha! She was always in touch and sending me updates of my pups. With her fenced yard my dogs were able to enjoy outdoor play and even made new friends with the neighbor's dogs. The onboarding went smooth and the pick up as well. I always felt my dogs were well taken care of, not with a stranger but with "grandma".

This was our first time leaving our dog with someone on rover. We previously left our dog at a boarding place and she didn’t do well at all, was sick didn’t eat etc. We decided leaving her with someone who would be with her most of the time would be best for us. We met with Ralph prior to her stay. He answered all of our questions and he asked good questions as well, so that he got to know her before taking care of her. Ralph watched our dog for 7 days and she did so well! He sent photos and updates and was quick to respond if we reached out for additional updates/questions. Ralph made sure he was home as much as possible for an entire week even saying he went grocery shopping prior to ensure he had groceries and wouldn’t have to leave her alone. We are so happy to have met someone who we can trust and know will take good care of our dog as if it’s his own. We definitely plan to use him again for our next vacation.

Logan is a fantastic dog sitter! He went above and beyond with communication about my Cheyenne. He was incredibly conscientious about making sure she ate, exercised, and was generally happy. I am very grateful Logan was available on short notice, and I’m glad he and Chey hit it off, as I will surely reach out to him again.

Erin was very accommodating to our last minute need for a sitter. She sent updates and pictures every day and was quick to respond. She made sure our dog was eating (hand feeding) even though he was nervous in a new setting. Our dog had a fun time playing with other dogs in her backyard. Would recommend!

My cat had a safe and happy time. He was looked after and entertained. My favorite thing is that they will only have one pet at a time so you don’t have to worry about your pet feeling neglected. They also work from home so my cat had company the entire week. I got pictures daily and communication was fast! Thank you.

About: Dogs have been a significant part of my life, holding a special place in my heart. Growing up, my mother was involved in rescuing dogs, and we even took part in fostering. This experience exposed me to dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've undergone basic dog training and share my life with a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog named Millie. Prior to Millie, we had a beloved hound dog named Evie, who was a cherished companion for 15 years. My love for dogs spans every age, and I appreciate the unique needs and characteristics that come with each stage of their lives. I currently work from home full-time however, my schedule allows for flexibility through the week day where I can be available for walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and snuggles. I would be happy to come get your pup out for a long walk before you return home. I would be happy to take your pup to a park to walk or around your neighborhood. I have a dog harness for safe traveling. I could also bring your pet to my home to play with my dog for a playdate. We have a nice fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to run. Our dog is wonderful with other dogs as well- big and small.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Saginaw home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
