“Bella took great care of our pupper while we were away. I would totally recommend her with your doggo. We will definitely use Bella again when the need arises. Thank you for loving on him.”

About: I’ve taking care of many animals, puppy to old. I’ve trained my Akita since she was a puppy and know what it takes to care for stubborn dogs. I’m very attentive and will always make sure the animal comes first. I currently work a full time job but it’s fairly flexible when it comes to tasks I need to complete. On top of working full time I am also very excited to work extra hours because I love staying busy and being around animals! I make sure they always have fresh water and make sure the dog has everything they need right as I get there. As I’m leaving, I make sure to clean up after not only myself and the dog, but also make sure I tidy up a space better than I found it!

About: Hello! My name is Bella, and I have quite a bit of experience under my belt. I have four dogs ranging from petite to large, (7lbs - 60lbs) and have grown up surrounded by these furry friends. Beginning at just 6 years old, I have been helping with the care of my fluffy siblings. I have first hand experience with the puppy stage all the way up to the senior vet appointments, and one of my dogs (Boxer mix) is still considered a young adult at just 4 years old. I have no problem sleeping over to keep your pet comfortable, and I can take them on lengthy walks too! If there’s one thing I’ve learned from these guys it’s that no matter the age, if a pet is loved the right way they will never lose their spark. I am currently unemployed, and a full-time college student, so I have plenty of time in the afternoons (after classes) to help out with your pets! I am fully capable of crating your dog if requested, and will keep a sharp eye on your baby at all times, on or off the leash. A clean water bowl is essential, and extra pets for being so good.

“Maria is prompt and easy to communicate with. She taught Hazel a few commands and was always very caring. She went above and beyond in several circumstances. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've raised and taken care of dogs and cats since I was atleast 10yrs old. But in my adult lifetime I've raised pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits and horses. For a number of years I raised and breed English Pointers and also trained them for upland game bird hunting. With my Extended Life Experience, I am able to care for just about any animal with care and affection while keeping them safe and secure. I have an affinity for ALL animals. All that they desire from us is our Love and Attention and to be treated with Care and Affection. That is exactly what your furry little critter will learn to expect from me. And Nothing Less I am retired from the California Dept. Of Correction, where I worked in North Eastern Calif. Upon retirement I moved back to Poway, where I reside. I am Free most every single day and have very flexible hours of availability as well. While looking out for your fur ball, whether it be in your home, the backyard,on long walks, in the park, or in my home, my training with the Dept. of Corrections had ingrained into me to be very aware of my surroundings. I take notice of things others my not see. Your little buddies safety and well-being is as important to me as it is to you.

“Thank you for taking care of Coco. Nadya was responsive, followed my feeding instructions & was able to calm my shy girl. Had a great first experience with Rover and with Nadya.”

“Shannon was great! Everything was nice and clean and the cats seemed pretty chill when I got back, more than they usually are when I take a trip. Would definitely book again.”

About: I am a zookeeper, and have been pet sitting for years, so I have quite a bit of experience working with a variety of animals. I grew up with cats and dogs, and currently have 2 cats of my own. I have also taken care of other small mammals, birds, and reptiles. I am a detail oriented person with a passion for animal welfare, seeing as that is a large part of my job. I go above and beyond when I pet sit to make sure animals feel comfortable while their people are away. I am also comfortable administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, as well as eye drops. I also have years of training experience, and am comfortable working with younger animals and geriatrics. My schedule is a little variable, but I can do early morning, and afternoon/evening Saturday-Wednesday, and anytime Thursday and Friday as those are my days off. I am unfortunately unable to board animals since I live in an apartment, but am more than happy to take care of pets in the comfort of their own home.

About: I love being outdoors and being on walks to help you out is a catch for me and your pup. I’ve watched fish, tortoises, guinea pigs, cats, and DOGGGIESSS in their owner homes. I’m working part time right now 9-6 Mondays and Fridays. Which makes me free on days you need. Plus, I’m a call away. I thrive on honesty so we can get what we need done. I have two dogs at home. A big mutt and small Maltese. Taking them on walks is important for me to bond and help them get their exercise. I use to work full time and I get the anxious feelings with leaving dogs on their own so I’m understanding in any cases.

It’s nice to cuddle with them.

“Bella took great care of our pupper while we were away. I would totally recommend her with your doggo. We will definitely use Bella again when the need arises. Thank you for loving on him.”

May S.
“A quote I’ve lived by my whole life is “how you do something, is how you do everything.” This means always having your best foot forward no matter the circumstance. May falls under this category of person that is always up for a challenge by having the patience and care to work through anything thrown her way. She is always going to have her best foot forward in anything she does. You might be asking yourself how does this carry over into being a pet caregiver? Ive know May for over 6yrs and in that time my dog had to undergo surgery to remove cancer, which resulted in the loss of his hind leg. Ive never seen someone so willing to help out anywhere she could. From assisting with the PT to get him up and walking again to regularly checking in throughout the day while my family was out at work. This to me ties it all together that May is always going to have her best foot forward is anything that comes her way.”

Isabella E.
“Bella has a way with dogs that I haven’t seen in anyone I know. My dog is quite antisocial but Bella got her to warm up to her quickly and became one of my dog’s favorite people. She listens to and respects my dog’s boundaries and is the perfect mixture of responsible and caring.”

Maria H.

Logan F.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Logan on Rover We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Logan on Rover. From the very beginning, his professionalism, communication, and genuine love for animals stood out. We have two dogs—Bruiser, a big lovable goofball who can be a bit of a handful, and Bailey, our more reserved but sweet pup—and Logan has taken care of both with exceptional care, patience, and compassion. One of the first things we noticed about Logan is how quickly he earned Bruiser and Bailey’s trust. Bruiser can be energetic and excitable on walks, while Bailey needs a little extra time to warm up to new people. Logan took the time to get to know their personalities, approached them with warmth and calm energy, and now they both light up the moment they see him walk through the door. Logan doesn’t just “watch the dogs”—he truly cares for them. He sends us thoughtful updates during every visit, including photos and notes about how they’re doing, what they ate, how their walk went, and anything else we might want to know. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing that our dogs are in such good hands. We also really appreciate Logan’s attention to detail. He follows all of our care instructions exactly as asked—whether it’s medication for Bruiser or special feeding needs for Bailey. He’s punctual, responsible, and always respectful of our home. Every time we return, everything is left neat and exactly as we left it (except for the dogs, who are clearly happier after spending time with him!). Perhaps the most telling thing of all is how much Bruiser and Bailey love him. They get so excited to see Logan—it’s obvious that they feel safe, cared for, and loved when he’s around. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pets as if they were his own, look no further than Logan. He’s reliable, thoughtful, and has a true gift when it comes to working with animals. We trust him completely and highly recommend him to any pet parent looking for top-notch care. Logan is truly a gem! — Marissa”

Michelle M.
“I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter for Finn! Michelle took amazing care of my senior citizen pitbull on his daily walks when I was running a conference and wasn't able to take him out and during two separate overnight stays when I was out of town. Finn is always so happy to see her! Highly recommend!”

Daisy K.

“Daisy did a great job caring for our girl. She was always on time and kept us updated while we were out of town. 100% would book again.”

Tanya G.
“Tanya was absolutely amazing! She has a German shepherd and Doberman who were awesome with my Doberman pup! He is super rambunctious and energetic, but her calming personality helped him to settle in and be comfortable. Tanya is very compassionate and confident in her abilities to handle even the most challenging of dogs. She is very reliable and punctual. She communicated often and made sure she kept me up to date on him. If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy of keeping your pet safe and treating them with the same love they receive from their own home then Tanya is definitely the girl of choice!!”

Alexis K.

“Thank u so much Alexis for last minute dealing with my cat and his poopy issues! LOL. Appreciate you.”

Cayla C.
“Cayla is absolutely amazing! She has watched our two dogs, cat and fish many times. I consider my pets my family. I love them so much and always worry about them. Cayla is always on time and sends pictures of them which makes me happy. Our dogs are not the easiest. We have a 105lb German Shepherd and a 36lb Heeler mix. They love her. Our cat is a liar, he is always trying to go outside. She keeps them all safe. She takes them for walks in the neighborhood and can handle them both. She is always my go to!”

Justin took care of my two large dogs, an Anatolian shepherd and a Labrador, Kobe and Bailey when we were away. Justin did drop in visits for ten days, and he was always on time, did a great job feeding them and looking into their needs with great affection and care. He is very responsible and a patient dog sitter. He also sent us updates and pictures of the dogs so we could enjoy our vacation without any worries. I would recommend Justin to anyone and would have him take care of my dogs again.

Fatima did a great job sitting for our two cats. The cats seemed calm and content when we came home after being away for over a week. We loved getting photos and updates, and we appreciated Fatima’s personal experience taking care of her own cats. We will definitely hire Fatima again!

I’m so grateful to have found Robyn to care for my cat! She looked after her for a week while I was away, and it was clear she had been well loved and cared for. Robyn was reliable, communicative, and went above and beyond, sending daily updates and photos. She made time for play, followed every care instruction perfectly, and provided a warm, comforting presence. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Robyn again!

Alex took excellent care of our pup and she provided us with the most detailed Rover report card that we have ever received from a a dog sitter! We are super impressed with her communication and attention to our care instructions. She clearly understands pets and their unique needs and we are lucky we found her!

Sealani was amazing just like she was the first time. She is so good, kind, and gentle too Koda. He is a big fan of hers and he goes above and beyond by taking him on a run since he is high energy. I would definitely use her again. For all my dog watching/loving needs.

For the cat lovers: Now I know the Rover is geared towards people who own dogs but if you own a cat and are looking for a reliable, friendly and attentive sitter, look no further, Ella is fantastic! I had searched and looked through the reviews of close to 50 different sitters and I am so happy that I found Ella.
