About: Hi! My name is Kelly & I live in the beautiful city of Imperial Beach, San Diego! :) I just recently moved in this area, but have lived in SD since 2005. The community here is very laid back, easy going and overall a great place to be. I am a dog lover by nature, and would love one of my own- but until I find the right match- I would love to hang out with your furry family member and help out at the same time. Any canine companion would find their stay very relaxing, entertaining and an overall nice place to hangout, whether for a visit or a sleepover! Why I love dog sitting: I have loved dogs since I was a child. I grew up in the desert with a lot of land to roam so my parents always had at least 6 dogs at a time. They acted as playmates most of the time. When they say “a dog is a man’s best friend”- there really isn’t any truer statement like that one. Our pups are just like family to us- and I would love to give you peace of mind while you take holiday or a trip- because knowing they are in good hands is priceless. I currently work part time, Monday through Friday from 10-3pm in downtown San Diego. My days & routines are very consistent, and nothing too out of ordinary. I am a mother to 2 beautiful kids (10 & 13yrs old), so I do take time away from home to pick them up from school and do the weekly grocery shopping. Other than that- my time is spent at home tending to my garden and working on projects. I generally take pups on several walks during the day, morning potty walks, long exercise walks and of course the last walk of the night which is usually around 9:30, no later than 10:00pm. While at my beach cottage, there is a gated courtyard that the pups can lay and enjoy the sun and breeze. I also have a patio they can roam around also. And of course they can enjoy the house as their own.

About: I've had dogs of all sizes for as long as I can remember - from Siberian Huskies to Pomeranians! I currently have two large dogs (85 and 55 lbs) of my own, including a senior rescue with lots of prior life damage and another rescue who is 8 but acts like a puppy so I am well versed in taking care of and walking multiple dogs. Can't wait to meet your furbaby! I currently WFH during the week and am usually free anytime after 2:00 PM. If needed, I may be able to assist with walking before 2:00 PM, with advanced notice. Having two large dogs of my own, I am well aware of the challenges that dog walking can present - whether walking a senior dog where we have to walk slowly or a reactive dog who requires constant scanning to ensure we avoid triggers.
