“With the busy schedules my husband and I have, we use Melissa weekly for recurring walks. She is great about picking up extra walks when we need, so our fur baby has some consistency with all traveling I do for work. Bruno loves her and I love the peace of mind she gives us! Thanks Melissa for all you do!”

“We have been consistently using Beverly since our pup was 3 months old. Beverly does weekly walks for us as well as daycare and overnight stays. Charley loves her Beverly and she has quickly become part of our family.”

About: I was raised in a household filled with dogs, cats, fish and birds and my fascination with and love for animals has never waned. I have more than two years of kennel experience, have received a lot of kisses and cleaned a lot of poop. Proud Cat Daddy to three gorgeous felines. I am currently looking for a full time job and I have a lot of availability. I can do most jobs in the morning and afternoons. As a visitor to your home, I'll have the utmost respect for you and your animals' sanctuary. I will always give attention to each and every animal and let no one feel left out.

About: Tail-wagging care you can count on! I have 20 years of pet sitting experience with a wide range of pet personalities and temperaments and 25 years of loving my own fur babies as well. I specialize in puppy care and basic training reinforcement (housetraining, play based development, leash manners), senior pet care (gentle handling, mobility support, medication administration), and special needs and rescue animals (with an understanding of anxiety, therapeutic support, and slow-trust building). I treat every pet like my own—with kindness, reliability, and plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. You can relax knowing your pet is not only safe, but genuinely cared for. :) I'm currently working part time from home so I prioritize caring for your pet with the same attention I gave to my own pets - making sure they’re happy, healthy, and safe while you're away. I have a fenced yard and an animal-friendly home. Currently there are no other pets in the home because my three fur babies have since passed on after 15-17 years of life. I now have two children (my daughter is 7, and my son is 4) who love animals and are very gentle and caring. If your pet doesn't prefer children, please let me know and I wouldn't bring them with me to care for your pet. :)

“Sara's been taking our two pups on daily walks for us. She's great with the dogs, great about communicating walk times, and flexible when we need to switch things up. I couldn't recommend her more!”

About: I grew up with dogs - my Afghan, Kesha, was my first best friend and how I learned to braid (lol). I've cared for Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Cockers, and Min Pins. I've dog-sat and cat-sat for family and neighbors for years, and now my daughters and I are ready to open our peaceful home and fenced yard to pets needing love while their people are away. Our house has a crate, a basement space, and plenty of tail-wagging energy. Dogs aren't just welcome here, they're remembered forever. I'm currently home during the day with a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of time, space, and love to offer pets who need calm, consistent care while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my routine and brings so much joy into our home. I approach every client's home with the same respect. I would want someone to have in mine. I've worked in private homes as a section 8 inspector, a home care aide, and an insurance rep, so I'm comfortable operating professionally in someone else's space. I follow all house rules, keep things clean, and ensure pets feel safe and at ease while you're away. We live in a pet-friendly neighborhood. My daughters and I often take walks around the neighborhood, so any pet we care for will get the benefit of fresh air, familiar sights, and friendly energy. We have a peaceful, fenced yard, a crate if needed, and a quiet, unoccupied basement space for rest or separation when appropriate. I'm very aware of animal behavior, neighbor pets, and how to make pets feel safe and seen. This is a calm, kid-friendly, and pet-loving home.

About: I’ve been a dog mom for 10 years. Lost my baby in 2021 and every pup I’ve met since shared an immense amount of love, almost like they could sense my grief. I feel like I owe them everything and its my goal to give love to every pup I meet and maybe one day I’ll be ready to be a dog mom again. I am a freelance artist so my schedule is very flexible. The wedding season usually picks up in May but I only work weekend nights. I live in a quiet area with low traffic and a few close parks. I’m also next door to a police station so the are is also very safe. I have concrete floors so it’s okay if your fur baby is still potty training or up in years.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with a special soft spot for cats. I grew up with dogs and I've been a dedicated cat lady for over 20 years. I can't imagine life without my fur balls! I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own. I currently work full time, between home and office, so I am unavailable for morning/afternoon check-ins and walks on Wednesdays & Thursdays. If your pup is staying the day with me or boarding overnight, my office is dog friendly and I'd be glad to take them with me to work! I do not currently accept any other type of pet for boarding at my home. My second floor apartment is a quiet, relaxing oasis with many good spots for napping and listening to the birds. I live in a relatively quiet and large neighborhood with lots of blocks to go for walks. Whether I'm caring for your fur-child at your home or mine, you can expect that I will fulfill all discussed expectations. :) My two cats are very chill and friendly. However, Nermal does not have much experience yet with dogs/other cats and may act shy and hiss/meow upon meeting. If this a concern, I can separate the pets with a baby gate so they can still check each other out. :)

About: I have worked with animals in various roles throughout the years, from working in a doggy daycare, to volunteering and fostering with various rescue organizations (OTAT, RWAR). I am experienced in senior pet care, administering medication, and some obedience training. I have a soft spot for brachycephalic breeds, and I owned and raised a Boston Terrier rescue dog for 12 years (RIP Batman 2009-2023). I currently own a mellow and submissive lab/husky mix, Henry, and a Maine Coon/Domestic Medium Hair cat, Tater Tot. Both get along with other animals. I am currently not working a full time “normal” job, so I have plenty of time to walk and babysit your furry friends. I am available for on-demand walks in the city limits of Chicago and south suburbs. For North and Northwest Suburbs, I can be flexible with enou I own a historic Victorian row home; it is 3 stories plus a basement and 2600 sq ft. My home is in the heart of the Historic Pullman District, on National Park Service land. My neighborhood is VERY safe, and my home is also down the street from the 005 District Police Station. My home has plenty of room to spare for your fur children. Not only that, I also have a 6 ft fully fenced yard. There is a dog park 3 blocks from my home, and I am in close proximity to several Forest Preserves. If baths are requested, bath lovers can enjoy baths in a jacuzzi tub, and bath tolerators will be bathed in a walk in shower with a double rainfall showerhead, and a handheld shower head for the hard to reach spots. I can offer pickup and dropoff for those without a car or time to spare, and dogs will be transported in a seatbelt for safety.

I am extremely thorough and patient in case something goes wrong with them and I maintain a calm demeanor at all times. When it comes to instructions, please provide a brief, detailed description of your pet's daily routine and I'll follow it to the letter. I'm currently a graduate student at CSU; summers are a slow period for me. I am more than willing to babysit pets for as many nights, walks, feeding times as needed. During school time I will do walks, feeding visits and the occasional overnight weekend stay. I am committed to your pet's comfort level and will adapt to their schedule to the best of my ability. I will spoil them rotten because I absolutely love all dogs and cats of all shapes and mannerisms. Even if they hate me. If I am confused about anything regarding your pet's behavior, such as licking paws, over-grooming, an increase in urination, I will let you know about it as soon as I see it. I also LOVE talking to the pets so I will have full-on conversations with them. I'm especially good with repeat visits so if you are interested in having a one-time sitter for the next few years, I'm MORE than willing to take up that responsibility. Familiarity is very important with pets and as mentioned before, I am focused on the pet's comfort.
