“Johnathan was great. Took good care of Henry and he can be quite a handful at times. Loved getting daily updates and photos. The house was very clean when we got home. The only thing that disappointed us was the strong oder from the dirty liter box upon return. As I mentioned in my notes, Henry likes a clean liter box and it should have been cleaned before he left and our return. Johnathan is very sweet and treated Henry with love and kindness. I would definitely hire him again and absolutely recommend him to others, and have to my friends we vacationed with as they vacation alot and may need a sitter one day for their fur babies. About: I have been around all type of animals since I was born. I grew up with a weekly visit to my families farm, which kickstarted my passion for animal-care and provided a strong foundation to understanding all creatures and ensuring they are living their best lives. In high school, I worked at a dog-boarding facility called Shamrock Ranch, feeding, walking, and loving on the residents. Since graduating in 2020 and moving to San Diego, I have acquired my own pack of 3 land-sharks, all with their own array of needs being rescue dogs. Hence, I am capable and comfortable handling dogs with special needs, reactivity, and those who just need a little longer to warm up. I also have been rescuing rats for years, so I am very familiar with their needs and would love to help with yours! I currently only work at farmers markets on the weekends serving up Buddah bowls, so my schedule is wide-open on weekdays and weekend afternoons / evenings. Having rescue dogs with different needs, I am always very aware of my surroundings and observant of potential triggers. I am also a very detail oriented person, always double-checking that the doors are locked behind me, etc.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats with special needs since I was in college. I also have extensive personal experience with caring for senior pets. I'm currently working part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pups. I'm available for visits 7 days a week and boarding Thursdays through Monday. I have a fenced yard and 1 senior doxie who loves to go on walks and play in the yard. I am meticulous when it comes to caring for pets. Their safety and happiness are my top concerns.

About: I have always had at least one pet in my life and have always been active in helping take care of them. I have had a dog my whole life and have independently taken care of my dogs for long periods of time. I am a compassionate, thoughtful, and competent caretaker who would love to take care of your four-legged family member! I am extremely flexible and available. For the most part, my days are completely free so I can take care of your pets whenever you need! I like to follow the routine that works best for the pet and make sure to take them on at least 2 walks a day. Additionally, your pet will be getting lots of cuddles and play time from me! Lastly, I’ll make sure all of your pets needs (bathroom, play, walk, etc) are taken care of before I leave.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, when I got my first soul pet, Mimi. She was my best friend, and I was lucky to share 19 beautiful years with her. Since then, I’ve lived with and helped raise six more dogs, including my sweet Luna, who we adopted during the pandemic. There’s nothing I love more than spending time with dogs, and it would truly be an honor to care for and bond with yours. I bring years of hands-on experience, deep affection, and a calm, responsible approach to every dog I meet! I’m a graduate student at SDSU studying public health, so I’m definitely available during the evenings and weekends, and my weekdays are often flexible. I always make time for my pups, and I’d be happy to work around your schedule to make sure your dog gets all the love and care they need. I live in a cozy apartment with my sweet 6-year-old Pomchi mix, Luna. She’s incredibly gentle, friendly, and used to being around other dogs. I have a large crate available if needed, and I treat all pets like family. Luna is allowed on the couch, but I always wash her paws after our daily walks. I keep pee pads down just in case, and there are always plenty of toys, treats, and fresh water to keep pups happy and comfortable. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all your instructions carefully. I stick to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications they need. I also keep your home clean and tidy, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I love to spend as much as time as possible with your babies! I have been pet sitting for over 15 years. I have sat overnight with up to four large dogs and up to four cats. I have taken care of senior pets as well, having administered insulin to a diabetic senior kitty. I currently have two part-time jobs, which allow me the time and the freedom to pet sit. I can pop over between jobs or before and after my short shifts. I rarely work doubles, and if I do, I would not commit to pet sit. I make sure to keep a very strong eye on small animals when they are outside in any capacity as this is coyote country. I tend not to let cats out at all, unless given specific permission. Your pet's safety is my highest priority.

They followed him around and were their usual selves which tells us a lot from watching them with different people they don’t know. He spent time with them outside and hung out with our rabbit too.
