We're pleased to offer the Health Care Commitment Program, which reimburses up to $500 for eligible expenses incurred during your pet’s stay. Enrollment is automatic when your pet attends daycare, covering treatments or diagnoses for incidents that occur during their stay or within 5 days after departure. I could tell he was very comfortable in her home When justice had a reaction to some medication and got sick, she immediately reached out and then took exceptional care of him, making sure he was drinking water and eating until I could come get him. I felt very calm, knowing that she was taking good care of him until I could get back. Michelle was so sweet about looking out for him and she even reached out several times after we left to make sure Justice was doing better. I know the guilt of leaving your loved one for a getaway or even for the day at work, so I am here to relieve you of that and let you focus on enjoying your time away from your home, all while your pet is being well cared for! I have experience caring for all types of animals over the past 15 years. I am currently a volunteer with Best Friends Animal Society in Atlanta where I help care for dogs and cats, including walks, cleaning kennels and shelter spaces, and of course giving lots of love and attention to animals in need. In the past, I worked for a dog daycare facility and I have a lot of knowledge of dog behavior through that experience. I love going on walks around the neighborhood. You can expect 3-4 walks daily (about 10-30 min each) with your dog when they stay in my home. I'm happy adjust duration (esp shorter for senior dogs!), just let me know. I also am very conscious of the heat in Atlanta and will take your dog shorter walks during those days (most times I up the frequency of walks to ensure they're getting movement throughout the day). I live alone and do have a dog in the home, but your pet will receive so much love and attention and playtime with my pup! For "Boarding" stays (in my home), I do best with dogs who are low to medium energy. For "Dog Walking" or "Drop Ins", I love all types of dogs and energy levels and love going on walks to get my steps in with them! ____________________ ***Schedule Information*** “Boarding” services (in my home): I work in the office 2-3 days a week and my schedule is flexible depending on the week. I am only able to watch your dog Fridays through Mondays as this is the days that I’m home and our dogs will not be left alone together. If you have weekday accommodation needs, please let me know and I can accommodate my work from home schedule for the stay. "Dog Walking" and "Drop In Visits": Monday - Friday I can accommodate these visits before work (before 8am) or after work (after 6pm). As mentioned, I work from home a couple days a week so I may be able to accommodate walks during the day so please reach out for more details if you need weekday walks/drop ins. On the weekends, I am wide open as long as my calendar allows. Please book “Dog Walking” if I am leashing them up and taking them on more than a 10 minute walk/stroll. “Drop Ins” are for less than 10 minute walks or letting them outside in your yard. ____________________ I have had some poor pet sitters in the past with my own dog, and I know the stress that can cause. I also know what it's like to be a solo dog parent (and a senior dog parent), and the importance of the community to help you out when needed. I am reliable, thorough, trustworthy and experienced. I am an excellent communicator and you will always be in the know when I'm responsible for your pet. I can pick up on dogs behaviors to know exactly what they need, which makes me the perfect fit for your pet! I live in a townhome and do not have a fenced in yard, so your dog must be comfortable being leashed up for walks. I also have a dog in the home, so your dog MUST be good with other dogs on walks. Also just FYI for the senior dog parents, I have some wood floors on the lower level (carpeted stairs and upstairs level) and about 12 stairs inside my townhome and 4 stairs outside my townhome. I'm happy to gate off the inside stairs and limit the number of times going up/down to just bedtime if your dog has joint/mobility sensitivities. The outside stairs are unavoidable as it's the way to enter/exit the house. Please note: For “Boarding” or “Daycare” stays in my home, your dog must be good with other dogs, as I have 1 dog of my own (~4 year old medium sized female). Medium to low energy dogs only (i.e., content with a few walks a day that are 10-15 min in length). Your dog must be clean, vaccinated, and not anxious as my dog is learning to be confident and do not want her to pick up on anxious behaviors. A meet and greet is required to be sure your dog gets along with my dog.

I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, giving medications if needed, and just making sure your furry family member feels safe and happy while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule, so your furry family member will have plenty of attention, love, and snuggle breaks throughout the day. And of course, I keep open communication with pet owners, sending regular updates and photos so they can feel at ease while they’re away.

About: I have been a dog groomer for 5 years. I worked out of Lynchburg, VA’s #1 dog salon. I provided grooming classes and puppy training (learn name, sit, stay, come, off leash, and potty training), on site as well. I have two toy dogs myself and have raised their 3 puppies and found loving homes for them all. One of which I get to see every time I visit grandma. I was trained in first aid for dogs. Week days I provide walks, boarding and dog grooming at my location. Weekends I provide in client’s home care, dog walking, and mobile grooming. Available most hours The dogs are free to room the house and I can also section them off with gates or kennels. Can play with mine or kept separate. Prefer medium (20lbs) and under in home. I have access to multiple dog parks in walking distance. Any size dog is fine for watching them at clients home. Dogs only go outside with secure leases and harness is a must for adult and larger dogs. Cameras on property.
