About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with dogs. I worked at a wonderful dog shelter called KC Paws that taught me about dog handling, body language, and temperament. I was a shift lead so I have experience administering medications - liquid and pills. I am also a foster for T.A.R.A, another wonderful shelter, so I have TONS of experience with puppies as young as 5 weeks old. While I have not worked in a professional setting with cats, I have 3 of my own and I have fostered two sweet cats. I’m finishing up school with one class left so at the moment, Rover is my full time job! I’m available unless otherwise stated on my schedule for whatever care your pet needs - day and night. Feel free to send me a message about scheduling questions to see if we can work something out! :) I only offer dog sitting in your home because I’ve got too many animals at my house and your dog or cat’s safety is my biggest priority. I am diligent when it comes to following instructions (with medications, food allergies, special needs) as well as with making sure your home is all locked up when I leave.

About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. About: I have had every kind of pet from cats to dogs, to bunnies, lizards, frogs, a snake, mantis, turtle! I even cared chickens in a rainforest in Hawaii and always prioritize an animals well-being. Animals are like guides sent from beyond, if you don't know what I mean, one day you will meet such an animal, and I hope that you are equally blessed by such a meeting! I do not party, do drugs, or have friends over. Your home is your casa! I check the mail, water plants, change and rinse water bowls daily. clean up spills/ accidents. I used to be a professional housekeeper, no it is not my job, but, I will leave your house as clean or cleaner than I found it! Growing Up I was a cat lover, then I fell in love with dogs at age 10 when I had a rescue Welsh Corgie, Shorty. He was my best friend and I read all the dog training books and learned about positive reinforcement and how to communicate with them. My husband and I have a chamelon and a cat now, Anastasia is my ride-or-die! She really is my guru and is an example of living the best life, 'Pur'ra Vida ;) Doja is so chill, and like a little Buddhist monk. Animals are guides. It's like getting to know a spiritual teacher, you never know what they are there to show you! Animal companions do so much for us. I treat each animal equally with respect and compassion. It gives me enormous sparkly joy to see an animal truly cared for, happy and content. I am a part time student, mostly remote classes, and I am a writer. I make my own schedule and love the freedom to change around my schedule, that said! I love planning in advance and once a schedule is set I do take that seriously, so I appreciate advance notice of any changes. I take care when in a new animal's environment but it helps to know if an animal is skittish, nervous or protective. I only care for socialized animals and dogs who are leash trained and not aggressive. I am more than happy to shower your well behaved kitty or pup with above and beyond care. I will come by to do a meet and greet, get to know their routine and provide your furry or scaly friend with attention, care and companionship. I always send updates for multiple day visits!

About: I have care experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish. I have taught my birds to talk and whistle, mice to jump through hoops, and I have trained my dog in basic tricks. I genuinely care for and loveeeee animals and will give your pet(s) my undivided attention when caring for them!!! I am a full time college student so I won’t be available 24/7, but I will make sure to set aside time for your pet! I don’t offer services in my own home at this moment, but when caring for pets in my clients home I make sure to respect and clean up my surroundings and their animals space.

About: I've been relied upon by neighbors for years to dog-sit, dog-walk, and pet-sit for cats as well. I'm a big lover of all animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! I’m a huge fan of walking and this fits into my daily and weekly routine. I also love the social aspect of meeting new people and pets are ALWAYS the best way to meet new people! I can easily drive to your home to walk your dog in the your neighborhood. I’m gentle, friendly and love a big scratch on an animals bottom(if they are welcome to it of course!)

About: I have lots of experience with house sitting and dog care. I would love to help you with other duties, including taking in mail, watering plants, keeping the place clean and tidy, etc. I have been the go-to-girl to dog sit and dog walk for all my friends, family, and neighbors since high school. I absolutely love to get to hangout with dogs and get my steps in! It would be a privilege to care for your precious pups! I am a doctor of physical therapy student at the KU Med Center. I have a 10 year old pug of my own named Beatrix, she is precious! I am never away from Bea for more than 5 hours at a time…but it usually is not that long. I am a homebody! And I dont mind at all to structure my schedule around caring for her, play and potty breaks, and three 30min walks/day. During the 2 days/week that I am in class from 8-5, I run home during lunch to take her out. I would do the same with your dogs as well! I have a flexible schedule that can allow me to work around your pups usual routine. I am able to take your dog out in your backyard or on a walk for potty breaks as often as needed. If I am house sitting for you, I would need to bring my 10 year old pug Beatrix to stay as well. She is easygoing and gets along great with other dogs. When I need dog care, I use Rover too! So Bea has spent a lot of time with new dogs in new homes. As a dog owner and Rover user myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, well cared for, and happy while in the care of someone new.

About: Hey there! I've been volunteering at animal shelters since I was 10 years old and have therefore trained and taken care of every kind of dog and cat you can think of. I stopped volunteering because I would get so attached to all the animals I raised and then they would get adopted - great for them, hard for my heart. I have a deep love for animals & for exercise but a limited amount of house 😂 so I thought helping others take care of their animals would scratch my itch. And I'm trying to find ways to pay down the debt quickly younger me created when I was "finding myself"🙄 so this seemed like a fun way to do it. Choose me if you want someone who will ~Love your pet as hard as you ~Provide a little training while they're with me. Even on small things like how to walk better on a leash. ~Give you updates like pics and videos so you can see what they're up to and be at ease. ~Upon request make them some homemade treats which my 2 doggos love dearly. I am currently a full time stay at home mom and small business owner so my schedule is very flexible. I need a short notice I just fit into whatever your routine is and add in extra belly rubs and toys to make it a chill experience for your pets.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. Had my first puppy when I was 3 years old and have had one ever since. I have taken a small amount of courses on training puppies as well. Great with training them on the leash! I grew up with dogs my whole life. I work from home a lot so I can be available most days if needed. I travel a lot so I understand you want to leave your pup with someone you trust. That’s why I signed up! I live in a two bedroom apartment with no roommates. It’s in a great neighborhood with a lot of parks and dog parks. I have one dog, Mabel. She is just under 2yrs old and LOVES to play with other dogs.
