“Barbara was so attentive to our home and our baby Spaghettio. She stayed with our pup while we went on a week long international trip. During her stay she paid extra close attention to detail and followed our dog’s care routine with amazing precision! When we returned, our home was even cleaner than we left it which felt so nice after travel. Barbara even made us amazing cookies as a welcome home gift!”

“Scott was a wonderful pet sitter. He sent frequent updates, was patient with our pup (this was his first time with a sitter!), and was really respectful in our home. He’s kind, flexible, great with dogs, and we’re grateful for how well he took care of our pup.”

“Donna was truly spectacular with my guys! I’m sure they’d give her 10/5 stars if they could! I was updated daily with pictures and videos of my dogs having fun on local adventures and regular status reports. She was a fantastic housesitter and I know Cogs and Wyatt already are missing her!”

“Lillie took care of our two Poms in our home for over two weeks and she was amazing. Took one of the dogs to a vet appt, send us photos and videos most days, and provided little anecdotes of the dog’s antics. She also kept our home spotlessly clean and even washed sheets and towels and made the bed she used during her stay. Surpassed our hug expectations. Lillie been a trusted Rover dog/sitter for us for years - the housesitting was a first for us and really worked out great. Lillie has our highest recommendation- 5 paws!!!”

“I absolutely loved having Heather take care of our precious babies. We have a doodle and a kitten and both were well taken care off. Heather spent two nights at our house with both pets. Our dog immediately took to her and was very comfortable. Our kitten is a kitten and needed some time which is normal. Heather followed our provided instructions and was kind enough to keep us updated and available when we checked in on the pets. Heather also left a follow-up note behind stating how both pets did and kept the house as it was. We are looking forward to building a long time relationship with Heather for as long as she is available.”

“Catherine took fantastic care of our pets and house. We have had bad experiences with other Rovers, so I was extra nervous to leave the crew this time. As soon as we met, I could tell Catherine would be a great fit. Super responsive, friendly, and loving to our pets!”

“She was so great. The dogs were so well taken care of and she took care of all of us, last minute. She showed up prepared, asked all the important questions and we will hire her again.”

“Renee cared for our Dalmatian, Emma, in our house while we were out of town for 6 days. We left detailed instructions and she followed them perfectly. She communicated well and kept us updated with photos and messages which gave us peace of mind. It was clear that she cared about Emma, spent a lot of time with her, and made sure she was comfortable. That’s all we could ask for. We returned to a happy Emma and our house was just as we left it!”

“Ann is incredible! This was my first time using a sitter for my senior dog, and I was definitely a bit anxious. Ann completely eased my worries—she followed all directions carefully, checked in regularly, and made sure my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m so grateful for her attentiveness and warmth. Thank you SO much, Ann! I’m looking forward to working with you again in the future.”

“Courtney was the sweetest sitter for my 2yo dachshund! She kept in good communication, sent very cute photos every day, took my pup on walks and left our home all tidied up at the end of her stay. I couldn’t be happier to have found her and definitely plan to book with her again for housesitting!”

“Ben was a great communicator before, during, and after our visit. He watched Penny over the fourth of july and the fireworks were stressful for our dog. He handled it really well and was checking in with us to help manage her stress. Would definitely book again!”

About: Hello! We’re back! Located in SE Portland now, we are here for your k9 and kitty needs! My wife and I have been taking care of dogs, even running our own business for the better part of 6 years (in another life). From Hawaii, to Austin TX, and now PDX, we have experience with a range of ages, sizes and breeds- from puppies to old timers, we can handle anything and everything. Hopping back on Rover to help save some money for a house! Also part time photographers, you will also get semi-pro photos to show off your kiddos and no extra charge. :) :) We are very active and will love to take the pups on walks, hikes, rivers and even the coast (if allowed and what you’re comfortable with.) We will happily maintain training habits, handle medication, and give them lots of soft spots for relaxing and cuddling. I work from home, so they will always have someone around- this means lots of potty breaks in the day! We can provide references and social media info so you can check out pictures and video at the meet and greet! :) I work full time and am available for your pets needs 24/7. My wife and I have 3 small dogs of our own so we have to keep a good routine. Due to the fact that we live in an apartment now, we are not capable of boarding your dog, but as a house sitter, we will abide by all rules, training, and schedules to ensure they are comfortable. You leaving can be stressful to them, so we make sure we provide a comfortable and safe environment for them so they can still thrive.

“Megan is hands down the best sitter who has ever watched Cujo while I've been out of town. Quick to respond to a last minute request, took the time to do a meet&greet, asked excellent questions, and Cujo could not have been in better hands. In all the adorable pictures Megan sent, I could see that he was having an absolute blast. The apt was spotless when I got home and Cujo seemed genuinely bummed that his new BFF had to leave. I cannot recommend her highly enough and she will be my go-to for any trips I have to take in the future.”

“Aubrey went out of her way to see that my dog Dexter (who suffers from separation anxiety) was safe and happy. Aubrey was also very good about sending me pics of Dexter. I would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“ariana has been so great when she’s watched my dog! she’s been very flexible with some unexpected changes to my schedule and i always get plenty of great updates from her. definitely highly recommend her and hope to keep booking with her in the future!”
