About: I used to work at a dog rescue, and I have experience with all kinds of dogs, from chihuahuas to pitbulls. I love them all. I recently lost my 16 year old rescue dog, Spike, and I miss being around animals. I’m experienced with special needs dogs, senior dogs, and with administering medication. I’d love to make your dog feel comfy and loved when you’re away. I am comfortable with your dog boarding at my house if they don’t mind being in a new environment, and I also have experience house sitting for pets who prefer their own space. When house sitting, I’m happy to grab mail, water plants, etc. I work from home the majority of the time, and my husband (who is also a huge animal lover) has flexible hours as well. Therefore, someone is typically home and able to walk/feed/play with your pet during the day. I have a fenced yard and a small doggie door as well. About: I have experience with reactive dogs and understand they need to feel safe and redirected when they are in a heightened state. I try to meet pets and their parents where they are. I start my dog’s day with breakfast and potty break around 7 am. I like to walk my dog around noon on my lunch break and play with him. I’m off work around 5 pm and let the dog out for a potty break again after feeding him dinner. I have a fenced yard and a medium sized dog to keep your dog company. I also have a large crate if your pet requires their own space.

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have three full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. About: I have had dogs in my life, since before I could walk. Dogs love me and I love them. I have experience administering oral medication and caring for special needs dogs (seizure disorders, OCD, blindness, and elderly dogs). I also have experience in potty training and leash training.
