“10/10 recommend. I was very happy to find somebody that I immediately trusted with my dogs and my home. Thank you for taking such good care of the boys. I'm more grateful than I can explain!”

About: I care for my own dog daily and understand how important routines, patience, exercise, and attention are for keeping dogs comfortable and happy. I’m familiar with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe in a calm environment. I’m dependable, communicative, and will provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their dog is being well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available weekday evenings and all weekend, so I have time for walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and giving your pet the attention and care they deserve. I focus on building trust and helping every pet feel comfortable in their environment. I use positive reinforcement to reward good behavior and improvement, pay close attention to each pet’s needs, and make sure they get plenty of potty breaks!
“She was so kind, caring, and receptive! Was very happy to learn during our meet and greet and did her best with my crazy puppy to do everything as we asked. Very kind, caring, and patient!”

“Glad to have a rover like Rose. She sent pictures and updates daily on how each drop in visit with my cats went and also emptied the litter boxes and litter robot. I will definitely book her service again.”

About: Love dogs, all ages, breeds, sizes, etc. I live with my husband and kids and I have always loved having pets around! I live near trails and parks, so your pet will be well taken care of and will get plenty of exercise and love. Would love to watch your dog or exercises him/her anytime! About this sitter: I am a mom of two girls who love pets; I have a daughter who is almost 7 and loves animals and a 4 month old who isn't afraid of animals as she has been around my sisters dogs. I work as a personal trainer at home and love my job. I work based on when I have clients so I am home a lot. I am home daily and work from home. My schedule is flexible and conducive to caring for your pet!! I already care for our pet so adding another is great. I can easily crate your pet but I’m also home all day and can play and keep your pet company!! Your dog will be cared for!
“Great experience with Nathaly! She was sweet and caring to our dogs while we were gone and sent pictures which always makes it easier when we have to leave them for the weekend. Will definitely be reaching out to her again when we need her.”
About: I've had pets all my life, and have worked at pet stores, kennels and vets. Animals are my true passion and calling and I do not discriminate against any species. I am currently unemployed and looking for a part-time way to make some extra cash. I figure, why not do something I love. My schedule is pretty open. I can do anything outside of my own home. I have cats and a dog, and don't think they would appreciate the company of other pets.
About: Update: We have adopted 7/7/26 a Shih-tzu 10lb. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. (My daughter got a dog now-7/7/2026) Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. Being able to witness and help care for animals from such a young age gave me a deep appreciation for them and taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always care for them as if they were part of my own family. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.
About: I graduated college last year and wanting to start a side animal business. I have a almost three year old mini schnauzer named Louie. I also have experience walking small, medium, and large dogs. Every day I take my dog on daily walks and play with him throughout the day. He never gets tired of playing or running around. At this time. I only plan on doing check ins and walks however, I will be planning to expand my services in the near future.
“Provides exceptional service to our pups. She sends us great pictures, descriptive updates, and offers to do more than what was initially requested. Our dogs love Heather. She treats them like they are her own, and we could not be more grateful!”

About: I am passionate about dogs and cats, I promise to provide them with safe, patient and full of attention. I adapt to the personality and needs of each pet, making sure that they enjoy their walks, have water, food and a lot of affection. Pet care fits very well into my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take walks, visits and care during the week and on weekends. I organize myself to be punctual, maintain constant communication with the owners and ensure that each pet receives the attention, exercise and affection they need. The safety and well-being of each pet are my priority. When I take care of a dog in the house, I carefully follow their routine, respecting their feeding schedules, walks and rest. I keep the doors and fences closed, use the leash during walks and avoid situations that may pose a risk. I also maintain constant communication with the owners and I can send updates and photos so that they know how their pet is doing. I treat each dog with patience, respect and a lot of affection, making sure that it feels calm, safe and comfortable at all times.

“Julie has been walking our 50 lb dog for several weeks and recently stopped over to feed and look in on both our dogs while we were away. I appreciate how communicative she is and she is so sweet with our dogs. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Shannon is great and we would definitely use her again! She checked in on our pup without even meeting him first, and also accepted our last injure request. She sent us detailed updates and great photos during her drop in. Our pup looked like he was well cared for and loving her! Thanks again.”

About: I’ve spent more than 20 years caring for animals, and being around pets has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve owned dogs for most of my life, and when I didn’t have one of my own, I was the person friends, family, and neighbors relied on to care for theirs. My experience includes caring for both large and small dog breeds, each with their own personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve also cared for rabbits and horses and spent several summers on a farm, giving me hands-on experience with a variety of animals and teaching me the importance of patience, consistency, and responsible care. In addition, my brother is a professional dog trainer, which has given me valuable insight into dog behavior, communication, and positive handling techniques. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’ve learned practical skills that help me understand dogs and create a calm, safe environment for them. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care, plenty of attention, and lots of love while you’re away. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else takes trust. My goal is to treat every animal like they’re part of my own family, so you can feel confident knowing they’re in caring, dependable hands. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. I’m currently pretty flexible, and starting in September, I’ll mainly be available afternoons, evenings, and weekends. My schedule can vary from time to time, but I’ll always keep my availability updated and make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and care they need. I try to make every pet feel as comfortable as possible by sticking to the routine they’re used to. Every dog is different, so I always ask about their schedule, personality, and any special instructions before I start caring for them. If I’m working that day, I always make sure we get a good walk in before I leave. It’s a great way for them to use the bathroom, burn off some energy, and start the day on a positive note. I usually aim for at least a 30-minute walk. When I get home, we head back outside for another potty break and walk. Depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and what they enjoy, our walk might be 30 minutes or it could turn into a longer walk around the neighborhood. Before bed, I always take them out one last time so they’re comfortable for the night. I follow whatever feeding schedule you already have in place, whether that’s in the morning, afternoon, or evening. I know pets thrive on routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal as possible while you’re away. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own. They’ll get plenty of attention, playtime, affection, fresh water, and lots of love. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and cared for—and for you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re in good hands.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Redondo
We booked Ashley twice recently to help out with our two dogs while we were tied up with extra responsibilities. She was very meticulous in her care of our dogs with extremely different personalities and needs. Her Rover “report cards” were very detailed - not only did Ashley let our dogs out as requested, but she went above and beyond in working on training and playing games while meeting them at their current level. She let us know what they worked on every day, and provided useful suggestions for our newer young rescue dog regarding some of his impulse control issues. Would highly recommend Ashley for any of your dog care needs, and we will definitely reach out to her again in the future when we need additional help.

Cassie did such an amazing job with our kitty! We have a fairly high maintenance Maine Coon, and Cassie kept her brushed, played with her, and loved on her. She sent great pictures and thorough Rover Cards every day. It was such a comfort knowing she was well cared for while we were gone. She also took care of my plants and bird feeders. I highly recommend her services. She is kind, diligent, and professional.

We had a great experience! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt confident that Tanner was in good hands. He was well cared for, let out for potty breaks on schedule, and seemed happy and relaxed when we got home. I would definitely book again and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
