“Alyssa jumped in while Dane was out of town and made Lobster’s stay feel like a mini vacation. Lobster came along with his buddy Ren and they were straight into dog park adventures, backyard playtime, and running around with Lady (their adora-pup) like old friends. Between hanging out with Alyssa and her two daughters and all the fun outside, the dogs were clearly living their best lives. The steady stream of happy photos made it obvious they were having a blast and being so well cared for. We live 35 mins away from Dane and Alyssa, and the distance didn't bother us because we know our pup will be in good hands. We will book again and again!”

“Glad to have left my Teddy at Kristina’s care. I knew he would be well taken care of while I was away. Kristina initiated the meet-and-greet which I very much appreciated. I’m always hesitant to just drop off Teddy somewhere new without meeting first so it was cool that Teddy got to meet Kristina and family and their fur baby Luna first before spending a few nights over. Kristina kept me updated with pictures and texts. And I’m grateful she adjusted time of pick up as well. Definitely recommend Kristina to watch your fur babies.”

“Kristin and her family were great! Our large dog Sumo had a fantastic time and was taken care of with love by Kristin. She made everything very easy for us and was flexible with the pick up time as our travels extended a bit. We will happily be rebooking in the future!”

“Marisol is genuinely our favorite sitter that we’ve met! She and Milo have been so incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The amount of relief and excitement I feel knowing that my pup is not only cared for but spoiled and loved is amazing. My pup is excited to get there and when I come to pick her up, she doesn’t want to leave. THAT is the telltale sign of a wonderful human and home! Dolce 🩷’s Milo (and Marisol!)”

“I can tell that Onyx had an amazing time with Ricardo and his wife. He had other friends to play with and they told me that he loved a ball that he was playing with. I am so happy that I found Ricardo for Onyx. I feel so at peace with leaving my pup with him.”

“Jen is so great. Communication before and during drop-off was seamless. We felt confident leaving our high-maintenance American Bully with her. We loved all the great photos, which assured us Hulk was having a great time!”

“David & Betty did a wonderful job with Milo. This was Milo’s first time with a sitter and they made me feel at ease the whole time knowing Milo was in great hands. I got frequent updates throughout his stay and I could tell he was very happy at his mini vacation!”

“We absolutely love using the best westie for our dog sitting. Luna is a very kind dog that welcomes all the dogs to the house and she has such a cute face. Larry and Rikke are great caregivers who are wonderful at sending photos to keep our minds at ease and they are great at keeping the dogs on schedule and they are very patient with my brand new puppy which I'm very very grateful for and I'm so glad I get to book them again”

“Taylor took great care of our French Bulldog Leo! We were away for the Christmas holidays and we received a bunch of cute photos and videos of him playing with their dogs and running in the yard! We also had an a cancelled flight and Taylor was flexible and able to extend our booking another full day which was a huge stress relief for us! We will absolutely be booking with Taylor again for a future stay!”

“Carmen went above and beyond while watching our dog, Honey! From regular updates to genuinely thoughtful care, we felt completely at ease the entire time. I was very appreciative of all the photos and videos she sent! Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again! :)”

“Ilse and her family were amazing caregivers for our dog. We highly recommend. Communication and care could not be better. River was happy and well cared for. Regular walks, cuddles, and attention. Pictures, videos and updates daily made us very comfortable with his stay. Thank You for caring for him as your own.”

“Han did a great job taking care of our 7 month old puppy Kiwi! We really appreciated her willingness to adapt to Kiwi's needs as a puppy, her flexibility and understanding with pickup/dropoff, and the thorough daily updates. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with her thoughtfulness in introducing Kiwi to her 3 adorable dogs one by one as to not overwhelm Kiwi. Kiwi ended up really enjoying playing with Iggy especially and had a great time! This was our first Rover experience and Han made the experience extremely smooth and easy :)”

“Kathy and Craig do an amazing job caring for little dogs, their place is like a small dog paradise with the backyard and similar-sized dogs to play with. Kathy is appropriately communicative and I appreciated the meet and greet beforehand to make sure the dogs were a good fit. Our dog has never been happier at another's home, we're looking forward to future visits.”

“Maggie (and Annabel and Audrey) were such amazing hosts for our pup’s stay. We were a bit nervous as Max had n’t had a sitter experience since he was a puppy, but Maggie was so kind and patient, setting up a meet and greet and asking all the right questions to make sure Max’s experience would be a good one. Maggie made sure to send plenty of pictures and videos while we were away, which comforted us tremendously. Max had such a great time with Maggie and the girls that we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home with us! We 100% recommend Maggie’s services and would definitely love to set up a stay with her in the future. Thank you!”

“Matthew took care of my dogs well and gave them lots of love! They’re a pit mix and a pug and They've definitely got little attitudes sometimes and can be a little particular lol. Mathew made sure they got everything they needed and checked in everyday.”

“Leslie was truly amazing! Her communication was thorough before the weekend, and kept us updated through the weekend with videos and photos. She will be our first connection the next time we need a sitter. Thank you for your kindness and taking care of our Ellie, Leslie. You are wonderful!”

“Brandon is always great with Finn, and I’m not sure which of the two are more excited for the visit. Fantastic with communication and considerate of the time zones and my strange work schedules when I’m away for updates.”

“Sarah was great. My cat is skittish and wouldn't come out on the meet and greet. And Sarah had to go find her for a photo. But she found her and actually got to pet her finally. I will be booking Sarah for all future needs. Thank you Sarah for your friendliness and care.”

“Jodi was awesome! She came for a meet and greet before I hired her and spent time getting to know my cat and her quirks. While I was away Jodi sent updates and awesome photos. I felt 100% percent comfortable leaving the care of my cat in Jodi’s hands. I would highly recommend her and will use her again!”

“Axell was amazing! Our kitties and home were well cared for during our two week trip. Axell was always on time and a great communicator. We would definitely book Axell again in the future!!”

“I have a diabetic cat who's afraid of everyone and requires insulin injections 2x a day. I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. If you want a sweet, reliable and caring cat sitter, you want Cassie on Rover.”

“she did an amazing job taking care of my Artemis. She will send me photos. Keep me updated and I really appreciated it. and she also respected my house, which was also appreciated.”

“Kim was so great to work with. Wonderful communication, Sasha really took to her almost right away and was probably a little bit disappointed when I came home. Ha! Would absolutely trust her with any of my pets and in my home. Thank you, Kim, you are such a gift to pet owners who have a lot of travel.”

“Jen was very communicative and even my shy kitty was at ease around her. This was the first time having someone look after my cats and she did an amazing job. I would recommend her for anyone who needs their cats checked in on!”

“Cyndi was wonderful! I’m always nervous leaving our girls so I really appreciate her being so consistent and communicating while we were gone. She really went above and beyond for us and I can’t recommend her enough! We will 100% be rebooking her for all of our future trips.”

“Francena is a loving, caring, and knowledgeable provider! She treats my senior Bichon like her own. She took prompt care of him when he was anxious (which he always is now that he is senior). She kept me posted and was very patient with his senior habits! She really knows dogs with all her experience in showing, breeding, grooming, and vet industries. I'm so happy to have found her!❤️”

“Han is outstanding! She was so kind and understanding to my very anxious pup. I was worried about a new babysitter and if he would get along with her doggos and I was more than happy to see him fit right in to the pack! A very calm and safe environment for my little boy, such a great find.”

“Kristina is an amazing furbaby sitter, and we are so grateful for the care and attention she gives to Enzo every time he stays with her. Enzo is a regular with Kristina, which says a lot about the trust and comfort we feel leaving him in her care. She is dependable, kind, and truly treats him like family. We always appreciate the updates, love, and patience she gives him, and it gives us peace of mind knowing he is safe, happy, and well cared for. Enzo always comes home relaxed and happy, and we highly recommend Kristina to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter! 🐾”

“Sara runs a warm, caring, and trustworthy doggy daycare and boarding service. We bring our pup, Enzo, here whenever life gets hectic, and he absolutely loves it. Highly recommend to any dog parent looking for a reliable and loving place for their furry friend!”

“Ricardo is Onyx’s favorite friend. They have three other dogs that are so well behaved and t they play with Onyx. They even play ball with him and even gave onyx’s favorite ball. He even plays with the ball at my home every day. I will recommend them so many times.”

Whether it is stopping in to relieve your pet, taking them on a walk, playing with them, or a combination of such, Alex will care for you pet as best as she can- similar to how you would. If you choose to have Alex sit for your pet, they will get plenty of play time with her sweet and playful Golden Retriever named Bodhi. Alex is flexible and open to meet and greets to ensure the dogs are a good fit for positive interactions. I am currently home full time with my 9 month old baby, and my dog Bodhi. This gives me great availability to be present with the dogs throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard and a good and safe walking neighborhood. The dogs are welcome to hangout in the house or outside as they prefer. Since I am home full time I can let them out to go potty as frequently as needed. With the rainy season upon us, I make sure to dry the dogs with a clean towel each time they come back inside.

“Judith and family were great! I had a wedding in the area and needed someone to watch my dog for a couple hours and Judith to the rescue. She was fine with last minute plans. Her home was super pet friendly and my pooch made himself at home. He was happy and tired from playing when I picked him up! Would absolutely use again when I visit my friends in the area!”
About: My mom has been in the vet industry since I was a child so I grew up with a deep love for all animals and I am intuitive to their little hearts. I would care for your animal as if it were my own spoiled pup. I’m pretty active if they want walks or simply a cuddle with a blanket and treats. Animals love my kind, gentle and warm energy. I also have been a client of Rover for 5 years and have had good and not so great dog sitters. I have very high expectations so expect your pups to be treated like royalty. Also, I only watch animals from the same family at a time for individual attention and safety. Pups love our large yard with flowers, blue berry trees, veggie garden and tons of room to run and explore! We have a beautiful view for sitting on the deck and sun bathing pups. All animals that have visited our oasis have felt a sense of peace and relaxation which we all need in this hectic world. I work at home (tech) with a large roomy house and a very large yard for my pups. I don’t have any children so animals become my “babies” for walks. Belly rubs and cuddles.I prefer pets at my place since I care for my two dogs full time, unless you live close by and I can easily go back and forth throughout the day. Animals are always safe with me and I ask many questions to ensure I understand the nature and temperament before we leave the house. Some owners are ok with dogs “saying hi” to other dogs on walks and others ask for no interaction. I will do whatever is needed to keep them safe and check in as frequently as you would like with pictures.
About: Update: We have adopted 7/7/26 a Shih-tzu 10lb. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. (My daughter got a dog now-7/7/2026) Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. Being able to witness and help care for animals from such a young age gave me a deep appreciation for them and taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always care for them as if they were part of my own family. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.
“Bella was very well attended to. She is a very timid dog. She can get very withdrawn if she becomes afraid. Compliments to Mattew, Bella was fine after her doggy daycare visit.”

“Nich was great! Super friendly, took great care of my pup. Video and text updates. Not afraid to ask questions as needed. I would definitely trust Nich again to watch my little monster 🐶. 😊”

About: I've cared for pets since 2014, beginning with family friends in my hometown who have dogs, farm animals, and cats, all with varying types of needs. In 2016, I began walking dogs and pet-sitting in Seattle throughout college, and joined a professional dog-walking and pet-sitting company that year where I remained for 4 years. Since then, I have continued to maintain a personal client base. I have watched pets at all different parts of their life cycle, from kittens and puppies to elderly pets needing specialized care. I have personal experience with trained police canines and protection dogs, as well as reactive dogs. I run my own therapy business, so I have flexibility with my working hours. This allows me to spend time with your animals and give them my undivided attention during our time together! I work from home doing telehealth sessions, so for overnight / multi-day stays, I would be present with your animals even while working my other job. I always make sure pets have access to clean fresh water, assess the space for any accidents that could indicate illness and inform you immediately, check for any safety hazards (pets LOVE to get into crazy stuff sometimes), and am happy to do any extra measures (such as crating, fencing off areas of the hosue, etc.) to ensure they are safe.

About: I have always been around and involved in pet sitting! Growing up, my mom was a well known pet sitter and we frequently hosted many different animals (you name it!) which gave me a lot of hands on experience in caring for beloved pets. I am taking over my mom’s services and hope to become as reputable and loved as her! I work part time and love to be outside when not at work. I am available for boarding through the week and weekends. I am available to do walks on weekdays. I have a fenced in back yard and one 7 year old German Shepherd male. He is very sweet and loves to go on walks and play! We frequently take him to dog parks and socialize him.
“Larcy walked our senior pup for us and did a great job. Was very communicative and sent us update photos as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.”

About: I've taken care of friends and family's dogs for 10+ years. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I firmly believe life isn't complete without a dog! Available most days for pet care, including weekends and holidays. Very flexible in pets care times! I have 4 animals at home, and I have time to care for yours too! I love spending time with animals. Playing fetch, going on walks, cuddeling up and giving them all the pets. There is no bad time spent with animals.
About: I've taken care of dogs throughout my entire life, and was active in training my border collie/lab mix Akila in my young adulthood. I have a warm and gentle spirit that tends to put all animals (humans included!) at ease in my presence. I have worked with untrained young dogs, puppies, and I love a challenge! I am currently working a very flexible schedule, so I will be prioritizing bookings from Rover as much as possible! I'm excited to gain more experience with lots of different dogs, as I'm looking to adopt myself. I wasn't allowed to have a dog in past housing, so I'm very enthusiastic about lots of pup time. I do not have a house that is available to take more dogs in for care, so I will only be doing drop-ins, walks, and house-sitting at this time. This may change in the future. In a client's home, I have years of experience house-sitting, babysitting, and I prioritize client's routines and wishes above all else. My desire is to provide a stress-free, pleasant experience for the dogs, so that they are happy and healthy when their parents come home to them!

About: What sets me apart is the patience, love, and attention I give every pet. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality, routine, and individual needs while providing safe, reliable, and caring support. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I enjoy spending my time with animals and providing them with love, attention, and companionship. I’m organized, dependable, and able to plan visits, walks, and care around my schedule to ensure every pet receives the exercise, comfort, and support they need. I care for every pet with patience, attention, and lots of love, whether I’m visiting them in their home or caring for them in my own space. I make sure to follow their normal routines, including meals, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owners. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away.

“Kristin and her family were great! Our large dog Sumo had a fantastic time and was taken care of with love by Kristin. She made everything very easy for us and was flexible with the pick up time as our travels extended a bit. We will happily be rebooking in the future!”

“Matthew took care of my dogs well and gave them lots of love! They’re a pit mix and a pug and They've definitely got little attitudes sometimes and can be a little particular lol. Mathew made sure they got everything they needed and checked in everyday.”

“Brandon is always great with Finn, and I’m not sure which of the two are more excited for the visit. Fantastic with communication and considerate of the time zones and my strange work schedules when I’m away for updates.”

“Cyndi took great care of our German Shepherd , Mila, while we were away for a week and a half. She sent lots of pictures to keep us posted on how she was doing and I appreciated that so much! Cyndi even made us a cute little sign with Mila’s name to hang at our house :). I highly recommend her, she’s a true animal lover! Thank you, Cyndi!!”

“Samantha is a wonderful and sweet person who took great care of Milo! She was super understanding about Milo’s reactivity towards other dogs/people and sent lots of pics every day ☺️ She’s a great communicator and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! They took such amazing care of my dog over the 10 days I was away, and it truly gave me peace of mind the entire time. It was clear from the start how much they genuinely care about animals. One of the things I appreciated most was the regular updates—they consistently sent videos and messages, which made me feel connected and reassured. Seeing how happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for my dog was in those updates meant everything to me. It was obvious he was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. When I returned, my dog was happy, healthy, and clearly had a great time. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust someone to meet all his needs so thoroughly. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and dedication they showed, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive dog sitter!”

“As always we are so grateful for maafatu. Right from the start my dogs couldn’t WAIT to get out of my car and Maafatu remembered my husband and I and even our dogs names! The fact he knew both my dogs name made me feel like family! I messaged Maafatu and as always VERY RESPECTFUL AND RESPONSIVE! we love Maafatu and we will only use Maafatu! brownie and slime mom c:”

“Sandy and Skip were fantastic sitters for my dog Mila! They welcomed her into their home for 10 days while my fiancé and I were on vacation in Hawaii. They kept me updated with nightly photos of her and I could tell she was having a blast with their sweet dog, Kree Bear, and getting lots of love! They have a big back yard and are right next to a trail system which is perfect for getting dogs the exercise they need. I highly recommend Them for your dog sitting needs! Thank you so much Skip and Sandy for taking care of my fur baby!”

“Gino was great with my two pups. They can be a lot but he was understanding and worked his magic. He gives a lot of updates so you won't have to worry about your pup.”
