“Ms Jules responded immediately to my request even though it was last minute. We agreed to meet at my house at a certain time and I forgot about it. She was willing to wait for me to come home, just so she can meet my dogs. Will definitely rebook her. Thanks Ms Jules.”

About: Since the mid 1990’s I have provided home drop-in visits and walks, for both dogs and cats, to friends, family and neighbors. During my visits, I focus entirely on one-on-one interaction. I love playing fetch, breaking out the favorite toys, giving endless head scratches, and making sure every pet gets the exact amount of attention they crave. Safety is always a priority, so all pets are securely leashed and closely monitored during every single outing. My goal is simple: to make sure your furry family member feels loved, happy, and fully attended to whenever you are away. I’m currently working a couple part time jobs. So I am very flexible and can be available any day of the week with a days notice. Safety is always a priority, so all pets are securely leashed and closely monitored during every single outing and all home visit instructions are followed and your furry family and home are treated and handled with respect. My goal is simple: to make sure your pup and/or kitty feels loved, happy, and safe whenever you are away.
“As a repeat client, I absolutely recommend Stacy to watch over their little loved ones! She always goes above and beyond to ensure our cat is taken care of and is vigilant when she drops in. She's brought in packages for us and cleans up nicely. And our cat absolutely adores her!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand that every dog has a different personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, so I’ll treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and love I’d want for my own. I’m a college student who works part-time, and pet sitting fits perfectly into my schedule. I’m available Wednesday through Sunday and make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. I enjoy staying active, so walks, playtime, and sticking to your dog’s routine are something I genuinely look forward to. I care for pets by keeping them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. In my clients’ homes, I follow feeding schedules, provide walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, and make sure your pet feels secure while you’re away. I also keep the space clean and send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Sydney was so loving and kind with River and Oskar. She kept me up to date with visit and provided pictures of my boys. She took her time each visit made sure the boys got enough time to potty and even have them sun bathe outside. This made my trip much easier. My boys loved Sydney the moment she came to meet Oskar and River. She is professional and someone you can fully trust taking care of your pups. I appreciate Sydney’s help on such short notice. I look forward in booking her services in the future .”

“Hannah was absolutely stellar!!! She stopped by a day early to introduce herself and ensure she knew everything about Ranger, and exactly what he needed. She arrived on time each day (5 days total) and the photos she provided proved Ranger was in heaven. Will definitely hire her again, highly recommended!!”

“Randy was professional, warm, and courteous. Her task was to check in on our dog, cats, rabbit and birds twice daily for four days. She made sure they had water, food, clean environments, snacks and snugs. Randy was prompt, consistent, thorough, and took lots of pictures! The animals were happy to see us when we returned but didn’t look bothered at all that we had been gone!”

About: My family owned many animals at the same time, we had 3 dogs and 2 cats. I would help take them out to play and go for walks even if they were a little mean. I would help feed the animals the right amount a food for each dog and cat and refill their water so I am very familiar with basic sitting My schedule is given to me weekly for my main job but I mostly work the evenings so you can expect me for mornings unless they decide to make me work the morning but I ask for a week in advance schedule (before Sunday) so I can have my boss give me a schedule that works for you:) I care for all animals as if they were priceless creatures and they should always be treated with respect and modesty, and I try keep the animal comfortable
“I had Courtney stop by for a drop in today, as we had a long day away. My plans changed a little and Courtney was able to come earlier than planned, which helped out a lot. Lily and Elaine were happy to see her, of course Lily still barked a bit in the beginning but it didn’t last long, which is really good for the 2nd visit. Courtney was able to get her outside for a break and a little walk. She checked everything I asked to check, it’s really nice to have her so we don’t have to worry when we need to be away.”

About: I have three dogs and three cats and take care of them frequently. I have dog sat several breeds and sizes for friends and family and have so much fun! I spend most my day with my animals. Playing, running, and cuddling. I adore animals more the people most the time. It involves feeding, walking, and giving baths. I always carry something to protect both me and the animals on walks. I bring treats and ropes to play with on drop ins and bring my cuddly self to lay with them for a few.

“Awesome, friendly and got along with all of the dogs just fine. Definitely came through for me at the last minute and saved me a huge headache. Will definitely have her take care of the kiddos again!”

“Madalyn was flexible and very caring with our kitties. She sent us lots of pics and made sure to update us whenver something went awry. Genuinely appreciate her and would highly recommend her!”

About: I have had a dog since I was born. I started caring for my dog by the age of five. Then, I did overnights with a diabetic dog, with whom I had to administer medicine. Now, I have two dogs of my own who are very special. I currently work from home, so pet care fits in seamlessly with my routine. I also have a fenced-in yard, so potty breaks can be taken frequently. I am very attentive with care for pets in my home, and I’m my clients home. I always ensure there is fresh food and water. I make sure they have toys or chew toys to keep them occupied. I am always available to take time to play, and go on potty breaks.
About: I’m a part of a family who runs a 4+ year old business of boarding/watching dogs 24/7. I’ve also been in a family with a minimum of 4 pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve had many pets that I’ve taken care of myself and I am always helping the family business. I have a very open schedule and am willing to meet accommodations. I make sure I watch dogs and cats exactly according to how the owner asks. My only job currently is helping out my family business which is very flexible. I will provide as much play time or check ins as wanted. I will completely respect the owner’s home and their wishes and simply provide them with the service for their animals as requested.
About: Very well, experienced in dog training techniques, pet store etiquette, a variety of small pet needs, as well as, infant, elderly & service animal special care. I’m an early riser with a balanced indoor/ outdoor schedule- perfect for animal health. Mornings & afternoon exercise play a large part in my active lifestyle here, too! This property also sits across the street from several beautiful trails that I explore frequently, though, our personal wooded acreage is welcomed to furry guests, too. We have two cats that are very friendly & open to other company, though can easily be separated depending on your personal needs. We also offer spare rooms to customize for their temporary stay. Wind-down times are in place before bedtimes, though there’s rarely been an animal that wasn’t exhausted after a good day here!

Morgan is trustworthy, reliable, and paid excellent attention to detail! For my first time leaving them in her care, I forgot to leave instruction on a medicine for one of my dogs; she carefully read the bottle and communicated with us! She provided good updates & pertinent information about how my dogs were doing. She was punctual, showed up for every requested visit, always locked up the house, and I loved all the pictures she took of my dogs.

Great first time experience using Rover Courtney was amazing. I felt extremely comfortable after our meet and greet. It made it very clear in our communications. Courtney gave me regular updates and cared for my pet like my Honeybun was her own. I will definitely be using her again

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
