“We had been looking for a new dog sitter after our last sitter graduated from college. My wife is a professional dog trainer and as you might expect is very picky about who we have watch our dogs. We had the pleasure of meeting Abigail (Abi) who met with us and then came out to meet our dogs before our first booking. Needless to say, we couldn't be happier than we are with Abi. Our dogs were well cared for while we were gone. We received constant updates about their day along with photos and videos of their daily activities. We have a 12 yr old Blue Nose Pitbull with a lot of allergies and dietary needs along with our 5-month-old yellow lab who offers his own unique puppy energy. Abi had no problem at all keeping order in our house while exercising during the day and evenings. She also alerted us to a baby rattlesnake in our backyard and took measures to keep our dogs away from the area until we returned. If you're looking for an experienced dog sitter, who will treat your dogs with the love you do, Abi is the person to go to. I also need to mention that our house was cleaner than when we left upon our return. We will be booking Abi as our first choice as often as possible. If you want your pets safe, secure, and well taken care of, Abi is the person to request.”

“I really wish that there was something negative that I could say about Shannon. I truly want to write all sorts of bad things about her and how everything was screwed up and how our dogs didn’t like her and how she didn’t stay in contact and communicate with us. I would like nothing more than to be able to say that she didn’t send pictures or keep our place clean; or go out of her way to double back from a personal errand to pick up an unexpected but expected package off of our front porch. I would absolutely love to be able to sit here on my cozy little couch and write how no one in the world should ever ever try and book her to watch their home or pets…but I can’t. It would all be lies. We want her all for ourselves and would like nothing more than for her to be available every single time we want to go out of town. She is superb. Nothing negative. Nothing bad. We have a dog who doesn’t like people and is sort of a rowdy little cuss, when Shannon came to pick up the key, this little f*%ker was trying to lick her hand. I know with every positive review she gets, it will be less likely that she will be available, but we must tell the truth. Book her.”

About: When I found out about this I thought, who wouldn't sign up?! I have a job that allows me to have lots of free time and I couldn't think of a better was to use it. I live in a household with 4 roommates, 1 of which is a very sweet Australian Shephard named Jack, a fat cat named Beefy, and then there's the 2 humans. Leah and Darrel also share my love for animals. I can be an active sitter/walker that visits trails or takes leisurely strolls thru the local neighborhood. Jack the Aussie loves sharing his frisbee in the backyard as well as cuddles during a movie. About: House sitting, dogsitting, walks, visits. I've loved working with dogs my whole life. When friends or family need a dog sitter I'm the one they call. Willing to work with all different breeds and unique personalities to accommodate your needs. I currently work in the mornings, but am available in the afternoon/evening for any pet/housesitting activities. Times and days can be discussed on an individual basis. All dogs are unique and I am willing to adjust as needed to keep you and your fur baby happy. Whatever those required routines, food, cleaning may entail.

About: I have taken care of fur babies since I was a child. I am currently 53 years old, so a very long time! I lived on a ranch for a good portion of my life with all types of animals, from kittens and puppies, to cattle and horses. No pet is too complicated for me! (Except maybe snakes) I am currently unemployed and looking for something to keep me busy in the meantime. I am free all days and hours of the week! I have a fenced in large backyard with no holes. I do have two pet friendly dogs and two pet friendly cats in my home and they are all great with other animals. I believe that it is important to respect other people’s homes and care for their pets as if they were my own. Pets are not only companions, they are family members.

About: I grew up around cats and dogs since I was young and taking care of them. I have four cats and a dog, I have a good experience with them It fits perfectly, my schedule almost every week is very open and flexible for pet sitting and care at all hours, except when I’m on duty. She pays allot of attention to the animal and if the animal ever needs anything she'll take care of it or she will find a way to get it done. She has a heart of gold and very gentle hands. About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I have a ten year old dog who I love very much. I had chickens so I know how to work on a farm-like environment and I have also had small animals such as guinea pigs and fish. I used to work at Nash Ranch in the petting zoo and I know how to clean up after animals. I go to Shasta college and I also work part time as a lifeguard at the ymca. But I am available on weekends and some weekdays. I love to walk/run with my dog and I enjoy taking dogs to hikes, creeks, and the trails around Redding.
