“I really wish that there was something negative that I could say about Shannon. I truly want to write all sorts of bad things about her and how everything was screwed up and how our dogs didn’t like her and how she didn’t stay in contact and communicate with us. I would like nothing more than to be able to say that she didn’t send pictures or keep our place clean; or go out of her way to double back from a personal errand to pick up an unexpected but expected package off of our front porch. I would absolutely love to be able to sit here on my cozy little couch and write how no one in the world should ever ever try and book her to watch their home or pets…but I can’t. It would all be lies. We want her all for ourselves and would like nothing more than for her to be available every single time we want to go out of town. She is superb. Nothing negative. Nothing bad. We have a dog who doesn’t like people and is sort of a rowdy little cuss, when Shannon came to pick up the key, this little f*%ker was trying to lick her hand. I know with every positive review she gets, it will be less likely that she will be available, but we must tell the truth. Book her.”

About: Ive always enjoyed taking care of animals! I’ve raised my own family dog and love spending time with him. We go on daily walks/runs as I am very active and love spending time outdoors! I currently work at a grooming salon starting at 9am and work until about 3:30pm ( at the LATEST) Monday through Friday. I am willIing to work around schedules that you and you're family have. Since I am offering care at your home I can provide detailed emails, text messages, and pictures of your pet to make you feel at ease while you are away. If bathing and cleaning are needed I can also provide basic bathing as well as carpet cleaning if accidents happen.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was young—I love critters of all kinds and I am willing to learn how to care for any animal who needs a companion. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rats, fish, you name it! I have owned pets of my own since I was about 10—fish, hamsters, cats, even ant colonies and pillbugs—and I began to petsit for neighbors as a teenager. I'm generally capable of regular house visits, keeping a punctual schedule, engaging in play & enrichment any way I can, bathing animals of any size, and adapting to the needs of any animal in my care. I am not able to consistently walk very high-energy dogs, but if you have an enclosed yard I'm more than happy to let your pet(s) get his or her energy out there. I'm great with low-energy animals who need a cuddle buddy or somebody to simply share a space with. I'm willing to do overnights, week+ long stays, and jobs with multiple pets. My schedule is very flexible to the needs of your pets, but I do have animals of my own to care for at home. I typically do not like to leave clients' pets alone for more than 4 hours at a time during the day, so you can expect regular visits within that time frame. I like to have lots of options for play & exercise with your pet. I don't take pets home, but I'm happy to supervise your pet in a fenced yard or a nearby park! I enjoy snuggles & handling small enclosure pets like rodents, and I'm willing to learn how to provide enrichment for any animal. I'm very strict about sticking to a feeding schedule, but I do like to give plenty of treats throughout the day if health allows. I try to keep clean as much as possible—bathing pets, regularly vacuuming/mopping, emptying litter, brushing fur and teeth, etc.

I work at Mercy medical center in the materials managment department. I have house sat for many of my co workers and I love to get the chance to help others while they vacation. I have lived in Redding for over a decade and truly enjoy our city and all the beauty it has to offer. I currently work full time at Mercy medical center. I work 8 hour shifts and I love to care for others homes and animals. I am not able to have my own pets so it helps fill that void. I am available all week and often house sit while I work my job at the hospital. I have house sat for friends and famly starting from my teen years. I have sat for all kinds of animals and had to give medications etc. I love to take them on walks or hiking if the weather allows.

About: I grew up with dogs. I have been living in a house now with 4 Shih Tzus ranging from 1.5 years old up to 16. I've gone through potty training all the way to eye drops. I am also owned by 5 cats so I am well versed in litter boxes and finicky eaters. I work full time Saturday through Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm. My housemate and partner works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. There is almost always someone home to take care of the dogs. It is no issue for me to stop by before and after work for potties and so on. I am pretty much a low key person so hanging with the fur kids is about as exciting as I get. When I am sitting in someone's house I like to spend time with the pet. I make sure that when I leave the house I secure the doors, windows, etc. I am respectful of belongings and space. I like to make the fur kids feel like nothing is all that different as much as possible. If I'm just dropping in for walks/potty time I like to spend time with them for their comfort and stimulation. I'll make sure water is refreshed and food is full and boxes are emptied.

She came over multiple times to let my elderly dog out to prevent accidents, took her on walks, played with my kitties, watered my plants outside, and even picked up a new container of treats for my kitties since they were running out.
