“Shannon - can’t thank you enough for caring for Abby this past weekend. So glad we met! Abby was so content when we came home. I’ll send you some more dates :). Highly recommend Shannon to care for your fur babies - great communication and sharing while we we’re away.”
2. Isabelle P.
About: I have been caring for animals for 9 years, ranging from dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, horses, even lizards! I have such a deep love and admiration for animals, I even have aspirations of becoming a veterinarian! When I was 10 I saved all my money to buy a pembrooke welsh corgi, and my obsessions began! I hope you can give me the chance to care and love for your animal! During the summer my availability it spot more open! I work part time from 12:30-5:30 on the weekdays. Therefor it allows me to check on you animals if need be morning, noon, or night, with flexibility! I have lots of patience for your animal, if needing the possibility of crating, taking medicines, or a little extra time in the yard! Whatever it may be I have worked if elderly dogs as well as puppies, and everything in between!
3. Cooper C.
About: I have taken care of several types of animals ranging from 2 lbs to 200 lbs. From birds, to cats, to hamsters, to big dogs and cats. I currently have a full time job, but have flexibility to meet the needs of potty breaks. Weekdays after 4 and weekends are work free. Creating a bond between a pet and a caretaker is vital in keeping the animal safe and out of harms way. Once an animal can learn to trust its caretaker the chances of anything bad happening lessens dramatically.

5. Gloria S.
“Gloria was wonderful with my dogs. She stayed in touch via text and pictures. Jake and Arlo were very well cared for. I would definitely use her again.”
6. Amanda V.
“LOVE this sitter. She was communicative, accommodating and so sweet. I had a last minute need and not only did she make herself available but she kept me posted constantly and even kept me posted on my pets that did not need sitting. She was awesome and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”
7. Jack G.
“Ever since I’ve known Jack (since birth) he has loved animals. He’s kind, responsible and unbelievably hard working. I think he would make an awesome pet sitter/walker.”
8. Elly K.
“Elly was great with communication, reliable, and really kind and attentive to our three dogs, and our cat. We would not hesitate to have her house sit again.”
9. Olga L.
“Olga took amazing care of both our house and our pup while we were gone! She truly loves animals and took our old girl’s quirks in stride. She also took amazing care of our home. It’s such a relief to know your animals are in good hands while your away, not just being fed but also getting tons of love and attention. We love Olga and will use her over and over again!!”
10. Michael B.
About: My family and I had a few dogs growing up. I also took care of any of the neighbors animals while they were away! (Horses, chickens, dogs and cats). I have plenty of experience to make sure your little guy or girl is taken care of! I’m currently attending some college courses so my hours are pretty flexible. I’m busy on Sunday mornings every week so anytime after 2 pm on Sundays. I wish I could house animals but I’m currently unavailable to keep animals at my house to do size restrictions. I’m happy to come to you!
11. Regena L.
“My little chihuahua warmed up to Regena so quickly. She made him feel comfortable and cared for in his own home. She provided daily updates that I appreciated and put me at ease while I was away. I will definitely be rebooking her in the future and highly recommend her.”
12. Sydney S.
“Sydney did a great job watching our pups. I didn’t worry about them at all while we were gone. Thanks Sydney!!”
13. Jules S.
“Julie used to live with us when she returned from England. She was awesome to our two dogs and I would often find them sleeping on her bed. When she moves to Redding she would come down and stay with our dogs when we would need to leave on vacation. Anyone would be lucky to have her care and walk their fur babies.”
14. Sherry S.
“Sherry was a roommate of mine and would care for my dog when I went on trips! She loves dogs and is super dependable. I never worried once about my pup’s safety and care when leaving her with Sherry! I highly recommend Sherry without any reservations!”
15. Haley S.
“Haley loves dogs and would be a very good choice to care for your dog(s). She has babysat my dog on more than one occasion and taken very good care of him.”
16. Alex D.
“I have a 4 year old cat and a 6 year old lab. Whenever I leave to LA or Sac for work I am confident my pets are being checked on frequently and fed and happy. I’ve known Alex for years, so I am never worried about leaving my home on him, because he’s always been respectful with my pets and my place AND he always leaves my place cleaner than it was somehow , Idk how he does it 😄”

About: Besides growing up with pets in the home and having a couple of my own, I have been with Rover a year now and have gotten a lot of experience with each different dog with their own little personalities. I think it is pretty special that their whole world revolves around being with you and getting love and attention from you. You can’t even say that about your husband, wife, parents children or siblings, so dogs are quite unique and very special that way. I understand a pets needs in general and am pretty good with interpreting behavior as well as body language of an animal to assist in tending to their needs. I am going back to school to get a business degree but it’s all online so I will be able to be home to do Rover Boarding. I do not have any children in my home or pets and only board one dog at a time unless an owner has more than one dog I am willing to take them as well. You can give me an itinerary to follow if that is what you are comfortable with or I will just go by your profile information. I don’t crate your pet unless they are trained that way and pretty much I try to make them feel at home as possible. I have a back yard that is fenced for potty breaks and a little exercise. Your pet will be free to roam my house and all rooms that are open as they please and of course are all safe as well. If staying over night and your pet is usually in a kennel at night either at home or just when they are away from home that is fine but I do not have any already in my home so you will have to bring it with your pet. I am currently just working part time doing my own business so I can set my own hours of availability. I will have a schedule set for my day that includes plenty of pet friendly activities, such as going on walks, playing in dog parks with others dogs (if your dog is socialized for that) otherwise I would happy to entertain your pup at my own with games and enrichment activities and toys. I never overbook myself where I have too many pets at once as that would be counterproductive for both dog and dog care provider. I do not have any pets of my own, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t ever or don’t want them I just don’t believe in having a pet (dog special especially) in the city it’s fair to them unless there is plenty of land for them to run around in. I will take care of your pet as if it was my own though and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve as I’m sure you do. I am currently only taking one pet at a time so I can just be focused on them especially if they have special needs. I would be open to taking 2 pets only if it is to not separate them because they are used to being together and would be more comfortable them. I don’t crate pets unless that it’s what they are used to and in that case you would need to bring their crate with you. I have a doggie bed but you are welcome to bring their bed if that’s what they are used to.

About: I’ve always understood dogs better than I understand cat humans and so it would be a dream to be able to work in the pet care field once again. I excel in an environment that allows me to work with dogs, and even cats, and I always put their knees and wants as my main priority. Choose me for your pet care and you won’t be disappointed, guaranteed!! I have a pretty open schedule and I’m available anytime needed. And even after I get busy, I excel at juggling life with my job, especially I’m passionate about the job. As of right now, I do not have a home I can bring dogs to or board at because I am in a small apartment with my two dogs, I am moving soon but until then I can just do pet sitting at the clients house and dog walking
19. Beyonce P.
“Beyonce is such a sweetheart! Our fur babies loved spending a long weekend with her. Having Beyonce at our house taking care of everything allowed us to enjoy our time away. She went above and beyond by bringing in the trash cans from the street, providing frozen peas and corn to our chickens because it was a hot weekend, and making sure the water for our dog and cat was fresh and cool. She even changed the water just before she left to make sure it would stay cool until we got home. We highly recommend Beyonce!”
20. Susan H.
“Susan watched our 2 rambunctious husky pups while my husband and I took a trip out of town. She cared for them as her own, and took lots of walks and trips to the local park. She sent adorable photos throughout the weekend and honored all of our requests when it came to feeding and watering the girls. We had a great weekend away, and appreciated being able to “check out” as we trust Susan to care for our Husky’s. She is an awesome, sweet and kind caregiver and would absolutely recommend her for anyone’s special pups☺️”
