Ashley and her family took such good care of Charlie while we were out of town. She treated him like part of her family and I know he enjoyed his time there. We are so pleased with the care he received that we have already booked our next stay.

Isaiah was an absolute blessing! Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to find a last minute sitter for our 1 year old Cane corso/pit mix(dax). Now... knowing the ball of energy and at times very talkative dog we have. We were worried that Dax would be too much for even the most patient of dog sitters. Isaiah was absolutely amazing with him! Dax instantly took a liking to him at our meet and greet, and they soon became friends.

Nancy was incredibly accommodating! She took my senior dog in for a last minute boarding request and even kept him slightly over my requested pick-up time when I was stuck on the road. Nancy provided the ideal environment for my pup and sent me updates/pictures during his stay. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

Thank you so much, Jean, for coming to our rescue during a last-minute emergency, and caring for our two very spoiled pups for three days in a row! Our dogs are not used to being away from us, but Jean is such a natural that they settled in right away. The photos she sent throughout the day showed their quick comfort and the sweetest moments of them cuddling with Jean and her husband, as well as gradually bonding with her own friendly dogs. On the third day, when an unexpected situation kept us out much later than planned, Jean was incredibly flexible and understanding, making the whole experience completely stress-free for us. She truly went above and beyond, and we honestly feel like she saved us. We’ve found our go-to sitter. No need to look anywhere else.

About: I grew up with dogs. I have been living in a house now with 4 Shih Tzus ranging from 1.5 years old up to 16. I've gone through potty training all the way to eye drops. I am also owned by 5 cats so I am well versed in litter boxes and finicky eaters. I work full time Saturday through Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm. My housemate and partner works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. There is almost always someone home to take care of the dogs. It is no issue for me to stop by before and after work for potties and so on. I am pretty much a low key person so hanging with the fur kids is about as exciting as I get. When I am sitting in someone's house I like to spend time with the pet. I make sure that when I leave the house I secure the doors, windows, etc. I am respectful of belongings and space. I like to make the fur kids feel like nothing is all that different as much as possible. If I'm just dropping in for walks/potty time I like to spend time with them for their comfort and stimulation. I'll make sure water is refreshed and food is full and boxes are emptied.

About: I have hands‑on experience caring for both cats and dogs with a wide range of personalities, routines, and needs. My approach is calm, observant, and patient — I let each pet set the pace and make sure they feel safe and comfortable from the moment I arrive. For cats, I’m especially familiar with senior care, mobility challenges, and monitoring litter box habits. I’m comfortable supporting shy or anxious cats, administering oral medications, and keeping a clean, low‑stress environment. I also have light medical experience specifically with cats like giving prescription injections and giving subcutaneous fluids when needed and directed by a vet. For dogs, I’m experienced with structured routines, leash handling, feeding schedules, and reading body language to keep walks and visits smooth and positive. I’m attentive to energy levels, comfort cues, and any changes in behavior. I have an enclosed backyard for outside time if they like, and a great walking path in the neighborhood for walks. I’m reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to giving every pet the same level of care and respect I give my own. You’ll receive clear updates, honest communication, and photos so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Whether your pet is playful, independent, senior, or needs a little extra support, I’m here to provide steady, worry‑free care tailored to their needs. I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I can be available for full time or part time, one time or several. Just talk to me about my availability I provide calm, attentive, and safety‑focused care whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming your pet into mine. My goal is always to create a predictable, low‑stress environment where your pet feels secure and understood. In your home: I follow your routines exactly as you describe them, feeding schedules, walking routes, litter box setup, household rules, and any special instructions. I keep doors and gates secured, double‑check that pets can’t slip out, and maintain a clean environment throughout each visit. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and comfort so I can spot changes early and communicate them to you. For cats: I move slowly, respect boundaries, and let them approach on their terms. I’m experienced with senior cats, mobility challenges, and monitoring litter box habits. I keep their space tidy, refresh water and food carefully, and maintain a calm atmosphere that helps shy or anxious cats feel safe. For dogs: I use steady, confident leash handling, stick to familiar walking routes, and avoid overstimulation. I watch body language closely, support positive behavior, and make sure they get the right balance of exercise, structure, and comfort. Safety is always the priority, secure harnesses, controlled entrances/exits, and mindful interactions. Communication & trust: You’ll receive clear updates, honest notes, and photos every visit, so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I give my own, and I work to make each visit predictable, safe, and worry‑free.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including different breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and routines. I work remotely, which means your pet will have constant supervision, and attention throughout the day. I treat every pet how I would want mine treated and strive to provide a calm, loving environment while you’re away. I work from home and have for over 5 years. This allowed the time to really watch over your pet and being able to handle anything they need. I have a fenced in small back yard. My apartment also offers locations to walk dogs and allow them to poop and get some extra room.

About: My name is Jessica! I am 21 years old and I am originally from Brentwood, California. I just graduated last week from College and I have officially moved into my first apartment here in Redding. I am looking for clients that I can gain their trust to watch their animals in Redding. In high school I had a couple families back home that I was always on their list to watch their animals and I would love to be on your list as well. I have my own car and I am willing to take your animals on walks and to outdoors areas to play if you would like. I have a huge love for all animals but unfortunately I can't have any animals in my apartment so this will be perfect to get my animal fix for the weekend. I am very reliable, organized, and trustworthy. I would love to help you and your family out! Thank you for your time. Pet care fits into my daily routine by going home during my breaks at work to let animals out. Weekends are a huge part in taking care of animals for people when they go on vacation. I plan on taking care of the animals any way the owners do like in their own home. I will play with them and keep them active.

About: I have years of experience with my personal animals along with friends, I care for animals as if they were my own. They get the rule of the roost, and sleep in my bed! I often work 4 days a week so I have the long weekends to pet sit. If you need during the week it’s possible, as I have a doggy door and a 6 foot-dug into the ground fence, but would need to be the right fit while I’m at work, I have cameras to check on them too. Pets will get ample play time, walk/run and couch time too. The dog door is helpful once they figure it out, they can come and go as they please.

We cannot recommend Jared highly enough. From our very first interaction, his attention to detail and professionalism set him apart. He took the time to ask thoughtful, specific questions about our dog’s routines, preferences, quirks, and health history—everything from feeding schedules and portion sizes to behavioral cues and comfort habits. It was clear he wasn’t just “watching a dog”; they were committed to understanding and caring for our dog. Communication was exceptional throughout. We received consistent updates—photos, positive words about our dog’s behavior and how much he enjoyed watching our dog. Every message reassured us that our dog was not only safe, but genuinely happy and engaged. His knowledge of dog care was evident in both small and significant ways. He demonstrated confidence in handling, situational awareness on walks, and an understanding of canine behavior that gave us complete peace of mind. He was proactive rather than reactive, anticipating needs before they became issues. Our dog can be particular, yet he adapted seamlessly and respected established routines while building trust. What truly stood out was his authenticity. There was nothing transactional about his care—it was thoughtful, warm, and sincere. You can tell when someone genuinely loves animals, and that sincerity showed in every interaction. If you are looking for someone who blends professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, and heartfelt care, his is extraordinary. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found him and highly recommend Jared to anyone looking for an outstanding pet sitter.
