“Irina was an amazing sitter! I would gladly leave Paola with her again. She was very communicative and always checked before giving Paola special treats to help her feel at home. From the thoughtful updates and pictures she sent, it was clear that Paola felt comfortable and happy in her care.”

“Thank you so much, Jean, for coming to our rescue during a last-minute emergency, and caring for our two very spoiled pups for three days in a row! Our dogs are not used to being away from us, but Jean is such a natural that they settled in right away. The photos she sent throughout the day showed their quick comfort and the sweetest moments of them cuddling with Jean and her husband, as well as gradually bonding with her own friendly dogs. On the third day, when an unexpected situation kept us out much later than planned, Jean was incredibly flexible and understanding, making the whole experience completely stress-free for us. She truly went above and beyond, and we honestly feel like she saved us. We’ve found our go-to sitter. No need to look anywhere else.”

“Ashley and her family took such good care of Charlie while we were out of town. She treated him like part of her family and I know he enjoyed his time there. We are so pleased with the care he received that we have already booked our next stay.”

“Loved getting the photos/updates while we were gone this last weekend! My husband and I felt very comfortable leaving our lab with this family and she was all smiles when we picked her up. We will book again! :)”

About: With over 25 years of experience caring for both small and large dog breeds, I offer a safe, attentive, and loving environment for your pet. My experience extends to basic training techniques like "sit" and "stay," and I am adept at hosting pets in our home. I prioritize maintaining your dog's routine, from feeding and walking schedules to their usual sleeping arrangements, ensuring they feel secure and comfortable. To keep you connected, I love sending regular updates with photos and videos and will immediately communicate and address any issues that may arise. My deep understanding of dog behavior and body language allows me to quickly identify and respond to any signs of stress or discomfort, ensuring your pet's well-being is always the top priority. Our home features a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can run and play freely. I believe physical activity is vital for a happy pet, so I ensure every dog gets plenty of exercise, including long walks and exploration at several nearby parks. Recognizing that every pet is unique, I tailor my approach to their individual needs and personality. I use positive reinforcement, such as treats, praise, and a gentle voice, to encourage good behavior, and I avoid harsh methods. I make it a point to engage in your pet’s favorite activities, whether it's playing with a specific toy or simply cuddling on the couch. You can trust that I will be attentive to your pet's safety at all times, especially during walks, and will always be diligent about cleaning up after them. Working from home gives me plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. Begin and end each day with your furry companion—morning walks or playtime can energize both of you and set a positive tone for the day ahead. In the evening, relaxing together creates a calm atmosphere and strengthens your bond, making every moment together more meaningful. I treat every pet with the same love, affection, and respect I show my own. As a non-drinker, I ensure your pet is always in safe, capable hands—ready to provide endless belly rubs or step behind the wheel immediately should an emergency arise. To provide a secure and positive experience, I prioritize clear communication regarding medical needs and temperaments, maintain strict leash control to avoid risks, and provide comfort through consistent routines. My approach is built on a deep understanding of animal behavior, allowing me to manage difficult scenarios—such as canine aggression—with composure. From secure yards to rigorous safety protocols, my goal is to provide owners with total peace of mind and pets with a nurturing, safe environment.
“Isaiah was an absolute blessing! Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to find a last minute sitter for our 1 year old Cane corso/pit mix(dax). Now... knowing the ball of energy and at times very talkative dog we have. We were worried that Dax would be too much for even the most patient of dog sitters. Isaiah was absolutely amazing with him! Dax instantly took a liking to him at our meet and greet, and they soon became friends.”

“Nancy and Don were extremely nice and accommodating. Bean had a great time playing and staying with them. I would highly recommend boarding or any other dog care with them.”

“Jennifer is really nice and accommodating. She even took care of our pit Jada with short notice. She provided daily updates for Jada including photos of their activities. We found the perfect dogsitter for Jada in the Redding area, and we look forward to her dogsitting Jada in the near future. Thanks again Jennifer!”

“Meredith and her family were so sweet! They took great care of my puppy who can be a bit of a handful. She went above and beyond to make sure our trip out of town went smoothly when we hit some unexpected delays and had to extend our stay. We are so grateful to her and her precious family. Thank you!”

“Incredibly happy with Ranger's stay with Christine. We can always tell when he has had a good time. Firstly, he does not want to leave! And secondly he comes home and sleeps the whole next day showing us he's been engaged in lots of activity. Christine's house is well setup to host animals with plenty of fenced in space for them to run around. Christine also took Ranger to the lake a couple of times which he really enjoyed. Lastly we received lots pf photographs of Ranger engaged in various activities. That made the entire family happy.”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been volunteering at a local animal shelter for the past 6 months doing dog walking and socialization, and I have been trained in how to handle dogs with anxiety and aggressive dogs. I am also certified through Red Cross in cat and dog first aid. As an animal shelter volunteer I have gained valuable experience with dogs from all walks of life and new furry friends. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years, and when I moved to Redding for ministry school, pet sitting was part of how I helped support myself through school. I had 4 dogs growing up, the last of which was a family dog we had for 11 years (black standard poodle). I work 2 part time jobs throughout the week, and my schedule is such that I am looking to walk dogs, do house sitting, drop-ins, baths, etc. My condominium and apartment complex is pet friendly, but the apartment I rent out is not. I’m able to walk pets around the neighborhood but I’m not able to do boarding at this time.
About: Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including different breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and routines. I work remotely, which means your pet will have constant supervision, and attention throughout the day. I treat every pet how I would want mine treated and strive to provide a calm, loving environment while you’re away. I work from home and have for over 5 years. This allowed the time to really watch over your pet and being able to handle anything they need. I have a fenced in small back yard. My apartment also offers locations to walk dogs and allow them to poop and get some extra room.
“Danielle and her family were great with Moseley. He had tons of play time and cuddles. I loved receiving the photos throughout his stay and regular communication. We really appreciate all that she does for our pup!”

About: I’ve always been around animals ever since I was little- horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs- you name it! I love animals and taking care of them. The company of a set of paws is one of the most comforting and rewarding things. I know how much a bond between a pet parent and pet means, and will go above and beyond to make sure an owner is content when away from their fluffy family member. I promise to ensure peace of mind that they are cared for and happy, whether it’s a wagging tail or a purring tummy. I’ve been pet-sitting and walking for my neighbors since I was young, and care for each pet as if it were my very own. I’m currently almost entirely available! Any walks or home check in times needed, I can do them! I’m happy to go for morning and evening strolls with a pup, or check in on a kitty a time a day or more to make sure your fur baby is happy and healthy. I care for clients’ pets by walking their dogs, feeding pets, administering medication such as flea medication, cleaning litter boxes and lawns, and more as required.
“I was super nervous to leave my tripod pup with a stranger, but Jason really made us and our pup comfortable. We met at a local park to make sure everything was a good fit. He asked all of the right questions to make me feel he would take care of my pup. During Ollie's stay he sent tons of videos and pictures. My dog was wagging his tail in everyone. My dog was so happy and we will definitely be return visitors.”

About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I find that life is better with animals in your life. I have experience with caring for newborn puppies as well as geriatric dogs and training puppies as well as more hyper breeds. I have provided skin and wound care as well as grooming to many different breeds. I am a parent and a student with a great amount of flexibility during the week. I have time to feed, walk and play with your dog or cat as well as visit for longer periods. In my clients home I would be sure to keep doors closed and fences locked so that animals can’t escape. With the Redding Heat I would be mindful that animals are only able to be outside for certain short parts of the day. When watching dogs I make sure to run them outside and give them plenty of fresh water throughout the day. I make sure their potty breaks aren’t too far apart and that they get plenty of attention while I’m there.
“I was very lucky to land a gig with Jacquelyn. I had some plans change on me at the last minute (as I am driving down the road), which made it difficult to have a dog where I was going. Jacquelyn responded very quickly and helped get me squared away so that I didn't have to struggle dealing with dog logistics on my trip. Although I was nearly out of service, I would on occasion, get messages stating how well my dog was doing. She knows how to take care of animals when it is triple digits outside and somehow managed to pull more energy out of him after being exhausted from climbing a mountain the day before. After I picked up my dog, she shared insightful information on where to go to cool off. I highly recommend Jacquelyn as a sitter and I look forward to the next time I need to drop my dog off with her!”

“Teagan (and her family) were incredible hosts for my Puggle. I was a little nervous of how it would all go since my pup can be pretty anxious around new people. But she seemed to immediately warm up and feel comfortable. I loved that Teagan sent me photos and updates every day that I was gone. I completely trust her and would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!”
