“Jennifer is really nice and accommodating. She even took care of our pit Jada with short notice. She provided daily updates for Jada including photos of their activities. “Nancy & Don took such great care of my nervous and anxious Courage. They kept me updated with pictures & videos and even called me to let me know when they had issues sending me them. It was wonderful finding, meeting and my pup getting comfortable & cozy with them. It's rare for her to do so. Recommend and will return!!! Thank yall sooo much!!!!”

“We had a last minute booking that Isaiah and Alyssa were graciously able to facilitate. Communication was wonderful and I felt so comfortable leaving my senior dog. We will definitely book again!”

Faith loves her time when she gets to stay with Carley and her friends!”

“Lorrie was fantastic! We were able to book with her last minute for a weekend trip we needed to go on with late notice. She sent tons of pictures and videos of our girls and always kept us updated on how they were doing. Our girls had so much fun and got so much energy out they came home exhausted and very happy 😊”

About: I have hands‑on experience caring for both cats and dogs with a wide range of personalities, routines, and needs. My approach is calm, observant, and patient — I let each pet set the pace and make sure they feel safe and comfortable from the moment I arrive. For cats, I’m especially familiar with senior care, mobility challenges, and monitoring litter box habits. I’m comfortable supporting shy or anxious cats, administering oral medications, and keeping a clean, low‑stress environment. I also have light medical experience specifically with cats like giving prescription injections and giving subcutaneous fluids when needed and directed by a vet. For dogs, I’m experienced with structured routines, leash handling, feeding schedules, and reading body language to keep walks and visits smooth and positive. I’m attentive to energy levels, comfort cues, and any changes in behavior. I have an enclosed backyard for outside time if they like, and a great walking path in the neighborhood for walks. I’m reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to giving every pet the same level of care and respect I give my own. You’ll receive clear updates, honest communication, and photos so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Whether your pet is playful, independent, senior, or needs a little extra support, I’m here to provide steady, worry‑free care tailored to their needs. I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I can be available for full time or part time, one time or several. Just talk to me about my availability I provide calm, attentive, and safety‑focused care whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming your pet into mine. My goal is always to create a predictable, low‑stress environment where your pet feels secure and understood. In your home: I follow your routines exactly as you describe them, feeding schedules, walking routes, litter box setup, household rules, and any special instructions. I keep doors and gates secured, double‑check that pets can’t slip out, and maintain a clean environment throughout each visit. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and comfort so I can spot changes early and communicate them to you. For cats: I move slowly, respect boundaries, and let them approach on their terms. I’m experienced with senior cats, mobility challenges, and monitoring litter box habits. I keep their space tidy, refresh water and food carefully, and maintain a calm atmosphere that helps shy or anxious cats feel safe. For dogs: I use steady, confident leash handling, stick to familiar walking routes, and avoid overstimulation. I watch body language closely, support positive behavior, and make sure they get the right balance of exercise, structure, and comfort. Safety is always the priority, secure harnesses, controlled entrances/exits, and mindful interactions. Communication & trust: You’ll receive clear updates, honest notes, and photos every visit, so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I give my own, and I work to make each visit predictable, safe, and worry‑free.
“We cannot recommend Jared highly enough. From our very first interaction, his attention to detail and professionalism set him apart. He took the time to ask thoughtful, specific questions about our dog’s routines, preferences, quirks, and health history—everything from feeding schedules and portion sizes to behavioral cues and comfort habits. It was clear he wasn’t just “watching a dog”; they were committed to understanding and caring for our dog. Communication was exceptional throughout. We received consistent updates—photos, positive words about our dog’s behavior and how much he enjoyed watching our dog. Every message reassured us that our dog was not only safe, but genuinely happy and engaged. His knowledge of dog care was evident in both small and significant ways. He demonstrated confidence in handling, situational awareness on walks, and an understanding of canine behavior that gave us complete peace of mind. He was proactive rather than reactive, anticipating needs before they became issues. Our dog can be particular, yet he adapted seamlessly and respected established routines while building trust. What truly stood out was his authenticity. There was nothing transactional about his care—it was thoughtful, warm, and sincere. You can tell when someone genuinely loves animals, and that sincerity showed in every interaction. If you are looking for someone who blends professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, and heartfelt care, his is extraordinary. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found him and highly recommend Jared to anyone looking for an outstanding pet sitter.”

About: My name is Jessica! I am 21 years old and I am originally from Brentwood, California. I just graduated last week from College and I have officially moved into my first apartment here in Redding. I am looking for clients that I can gain their trust to watch their animals in Redding. In high school I had a couple families back home that I was always on their list to watch their animals and I would love to be on your list as well. I have my own car and I am willing to take your animals on walks and to outdoors areas to play if you would like. I have a huge love for all animals but unfortunately I can't have any animals in my apartment so this will be perfect to get my animal fix for the weekend. I am very reliable, organized, and trustworthy. I would love to help you and your family out! Thank you for your time. Pet care fits into my daily routine by going home during my breaks at work to let animals out. Weekends are a huge part in taking care of animals for people when they go on vacation. I plan on taking care of the animals any way the owners do like in their own home. I will play with them and keep them active.

This allowed the time to really watch over your pet and being able to handle anything they need. I have a fenced in small back yard. My apartment also offers locations to walk dogs and allow them to poop and get some extra room.
“Rio was there for me on short notice. I have a timid French bulldog that that requires a loving approach and she got it staying with Rio. I couldn't be happier with my choice and highly recommend. Will use again.”

The company of a set of paws is one of the most comforting and rewarding things. I know how much a bond between a pet parent and pet means, and will go above and beyond to make sure an owner is content when away from their fluffy family member. I promise to ensure peace of mind that they are cared for and happy, whether it’s a wagging tail or a purring tummy. Now, I have two dogs of my own who are very special. I currently work from home, so pet care fits in seamlessly with my routine. I also have a fenced-in yard, so potty breaks can be taken frequently. I am very attentive with care for pets in my home, and I’m my clients home. I always ensure there is fresh food and water. I make sure they have toys or chew toys to keep them occupied. About: I have years of experience with my personal animals along with friends, I care for animals as if they were my own. They get the rule of the roost, and sleep in my bed! I often work 4 days a week so I have the long weekends to pet sit. If you need during the week it’s possible, as I have a doggy door and a 6 foot-dug into the ground fence, but would need to be the right fit while I’m at work, I have cameras to check on them too. Pets will get ample play time, walk/run and couch time too. The dog door is helpful once they figure it out, they can come and go as they please.

“As a repeat client, I absolutely recommend Stacy to watch over their little loved ones! She always goes above and beyond to ensure our cat is taken care of and is vigilant when she drops in. She's brought in packages for us and cleans up nicely. And our cat absolutely adores her!”

“Kept in consistent contact and shared very funny photos of my adorable cats. Put me at ease leaving them alone for the first time for several days. I’m thankful to have found Julie :)”

“Sydney was so loving and kind with River and Oskar. She kept me up to date with visit and provided pictures of my boys. She took her time each visit made sure the boys got enough time to potty and even have them sun bathe outside. This made my trip much easier. My boys loved Sydney the moment she came to meet Oskar and River. She is professional and someone you can fully trust taking care of your pups. I appreciate Sydney’s help on such short notice. I look forward in booking her services in the future .”

“I had Courtney stop by for a drop in today, as we had a long day away. My plans changed a little and Courtney was able to come earlier than planned, which helped out a lot. Lily and Elaine were happy to see her, of course Lily still barked a bit in the beginning but it didn’t last long, which is really good for the 2nd visit. Courtney was able to get her outside for a break and a little walk. She checked everything I asked to check, it’s really nice to have her so we don’t have to worry when we need to be away.”

About: I've had the absolute delight of caring for cats since I was 8 years old and currently share my home with two wonderfully discerning feline companions. Over the years, I've become well-versed in administering medications, tending to bandages after injuries, and providing the gentle, attentive care cats deserve. As for litter boxes, I've cleaned more than I can count—always under the intense, supervisory gaze of a cat conducting what can only be described as a meticulous quality inspection. I understand that every cat has their own unique preferences and charming eccentricities, and I take pride in making sure they feel comfortable, respected, and thoroughly pampered while you're away.

About: I’ve spent years caring for cats with a wide range of personalities and needs, from confident, social cats to shy, anxious, or senior companions who require patience and gentle handling. I currently care for a geriatric cat with mobility issues and chronic urinary problems, so I’m very familiar with monitoring litter box habits, spotting early signs of discomfort, and keeping a clean, low‑stress environment. I have cared for and grown well over 15 kittens from infancy as either my own cats or as a foster for them until adoption. I am a cat person who loves them all deeply. I’m comfortable with: Senior cat routines Administering oral medications Cleaning and maintaining litter areas Supporting shy or cautious cats who need slow introductions Following detailed feeding schedules and household rules Young and playful cats My approach is calm, observant, and respectful of each cat’s boundaries. I let them set the pace, and I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. You’ll receive clear updates, photos, and honest communication every visit so you always know how your cat is doing. Whether your cat is playful, independent, or needs extra support, I’m here to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps them comfortable and stress‑free while you’re away.

“Morgan is trustworthy, reliable, and paid excellent attention to detail! For my first time leaving them in her care, I forgot to leave instruction on a medicine for one of my dogs; she carefully read the bottle and communicated with us! She provided good updates & pertinent information about how my dogs were doing. She was punctual, showed up for every requested visit, always locked up the house, and I loved all the pictures she took of my dogs.”

Must be provided by client: Dog food and treats Dog collar Dog leash Dog harness Daily activity included with your purchase: Supervised free reign of shade and rain covered backyard (see profile photos). 2 meals per day unless otherwise specified (food and treats must be provided by client as to avoid stomach upset) NOTE: If no food, or not enough food is provided, I will happily feed your dog what I feed my dogs, however I am not responsible for any digestive issues that may result. Note: In the event of a potty accident, I do use dog diapers from that point going forward. Diapers are always freshly washed for your dog. Lots of petting, toys, and play! Note: Dogs enjoy unlimited water access, however, are cut off before bedtime, usually around 7pm-8pm. Individual dog crate with a bed for sleeping. Photo update includes a picture and any relevant information about your dog's health and wellness (are they eating/drinking normally, did they get a cut on their foot during play and how did I treat it, etc.). In the event of a health emergency, there are animal hospitals close to me, however they have conventional hours of operation. As a result, outside conventional hours, I would be required to take a trip to Chico, CA where there is a 24-hour animal hospital. NOTE: An emergency contact is required. Tips are always welcome but never expected. If you feel I provided satisfactory service, a positive review is greatly appreciated!
“Jennifer was able to work with my long hour work schedule and picked up right away when I texted. That’s a big thing for me cause my hours are difficult to find someone. She kept me updated as well and took good care of my baby.”

The property is amazing, lots of shade, secure fence and sweet doggie friends to explore with. Bonus - Lorrie’s granddaughter was visiting and spoiled my guys even more. We are in town occasionally and I will happily book again.”

“I highly recommend Aimee! When dropping off for Benny's second stay, he ran inside and didn't look back. Normally he displays some separation anxiety, but not this time. He is very comfortable returning to Aimee's house. and so am I!”

“Ashley & Dave and their 2 daughters do a wonderful job loving and taking care of our dog! They are compassionate & caring which allows me to leave our dog & not worry. Truly a blessing!”

“I feel so blessed to have found Carley! My pup Faith has special needs and I never leave her with anyone but Carley.. it's so wonderful to know that she is being taken care of just like she's at home with me, so I'm not worried and I can have fun.

I am very flexible to have your pet stay with me at my house. I have a fully fenced backyard or am capable of crating if needed. They will sleep inside every night and will never be left outside.
About: Been raised around cats, dogs, and farm atmosphere my whole life, raised my first dog at 8 years old. Have been watching pets for friends, family, and acquaintances for almost a decade. I can watch any day of the week, Monday - Friday I can’t stay all day. I have no problem with being at the house for majority of the day. I live on a 5 acre land with plenty of space for pets to roam. There is also BLM land right behind the house with a trail by the creek to walk. Along with a spacious home. When house sitting I stay with the pets according to rules and instructions set by the owner.
About: I’ve always been around animals ever since I was little- horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs- you name it! I love animals and taking care of them. I’ve been pet-sitting and walking for my neighbors since I was young, and care for each pet as if it were my very own. I’m currently almost entirely available! Any walks or home check in times needed, I can do them! I’m happy to go for morning and evening strolls with a pup, or check in on a kitty a time a day or more to make sure your fur baby is happy and healthy. I care for clients’ pets by walking their dogs, feeding pets, administering medication such as flea medication, cleaning litter boxes and lawns, and more as required.

“Thank you so much, Jean, for coming to our rescue during a last-minute emergency, and caring for our two very spoiled pups for three days in a row! Our dogs are not used to being away from us, but Jean is such a natural that they settled in right away. The photos she sent throughout the day showed their quick comfort and the sweetest moments of them cuddling with Jean and her husband, as well as gradually bonding with her own friendly dogs. On the third day, when an unexpected situation kept us out much later than planned, Jean was incredibly flexible and understanding, making the whole experience completely stress-free for us. She truly went above and beyond, and we honestly feel like she saved us. We’ve found our go-to sitter. No need to look anywhere else.”

“Jessie was great! This was the first time I have dropped my dog, Tango, off with someone other than family and she made the experience very easy and positive. Jessie sent me many photos and updates as requested and treated my dog as her own. It was evident that Tango had gotten plenty of play time and was well taken care of when I picked him up. Jessie seemed very knowledgeable about dogs and was very friendly! I will definitely use her if I am in the area again. :)”

“Lisa looked after our 6 Month puppy over a long weekend. The whole process with Lisa was great. Communication and booking went smoothly and when we dropped our dog off she asked all the right questions - schedule, dog temperament, no touch zones. Our dog needed some daily medication and Lisa took care of it. Lisa’s yard is great; fenced, grassy and shady, so our pup could run and frolick. This combined with walks ensured she got her puppy wiggles out. I would book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love your furry friend as much as you do.”
