Pet Sitting in Whiskeytown

About: Been raised around cats, dogs, and farm atmosphere my whole life, raised my first dog at 8 years old. Have been watching pets for friends, family, and acquaintances for almost a decade. I can watch any day of the week, Monday - Friday I can’t stay all day. I have no problem with being at the house for majority of the day. I live on a 5 acre land with plenty of space for pets to roam. There is also BLM land right behind the house with a trail by the creek to walk. Along with a spacious home. When house sitting I stay with the pets according to rules and instructions set by the owner.

About: Hey I’m Callie, and I’ve been raised around dogs and cats since I’ve been able to talk. I have grown up with many big dogs as well as taking care of senior dogs who need extra care especially for diets and giving them the proper exercise. I am currently a college student at Simpson university, so I will have lots of breaks to check in on your pets and give them the attention they need. When taking care of your pets I will be able to crate them when necessary, as well as follow any instructions I am given about specific care for your pets because attention to detail is very important to me and taking care of animals.

About: Very well, experienced in dog training techniques, pet store etiquette, a variety of small pet needs, as well as, infant, elderly & service animal special care. I’m an early riser with a balanced indoor/ outdoor schedule- perfect for animal health. Mornings & afternoon exercise play a large part in my active lifestyle here, too! This property also sits across the street from several beautiful trails that I explore frequently, though, our personal wooded acreage is welcomed to furry guests, too. We have two cats that are very friendly & open to other company, though can easily be separated depending on your personal needs. We also offer spare rooms to customize for their temporary stay. Wind-down times are in place before bedtimes, though there’s rarely been an animal that wasn’t exhausted after a good day here!

About: Hi, I’m Grace! I love all animals and grew up surrounded by them and have many of my own at home! I currently have 3 dogs,3 cats, parrots, and chickens who I take care of. I have even volunteered at Haven Humane many times, so I have lots of experience with feeding, walking, playing, and grooming! I also learned how to read pet body language and manage animals with different temperaments as a volunteer. I’m good with both young pets and older ones, and am even comfortable with administering medicine if needed, as I have pets that need regular medications. Whether you have an energetic pet who needs lots of attention and walks, or one who just wants to cuddle and needs someone to sit around at home with, I will take the best possible care of them! I’m currently working part-time usually Thursday through Sunday, though my schedule varies. I’m typically available in the afternoons or evenings on these days, so I can do walks or play dates. I’m free to house sit Mondays through Wednesdays and can even stay all day if needed. When staying at your home, I always make sure to never leave pets unattended for long periods of time, always keep them leashed while on walks, will send updates and often as possible, and carefully follow all instructions including feeding or medication instructions. I will also treat your home with the most care, and make sure everything is kept clean and secure.

About: I am a professionally trained K9 expert. I went to a 4 month emersion program to study the behavior of the amazing animals and now I feel I am way more prepared to communicate with K9s now that I understand them as they try to understand us! I have had dogs of my own since I was a child all the way through adulthood. Potty breaks, socializing and and playtime are key pillars in our daily routine. K9s aren't just animals for a lot of us they are apart of our family. A foundation that we come home to everyday. People have their own routines and I will make sure to do the best i possibly can when caring for your furry family member the best way I can!

About: I have been a petsitter for 16 years and this is my most favorite thing to do! I have experience with pot belly pigs, hedgehogs, cats, dogs, reptiles, farm animals, aquatic life, small animals. Also professionally trained with many more kinds of creatures including medication management of birds, turtles, etc. My ultimate goal is to become an animal therapist. Your pet (s) will receive almost non stop attention with me because I can’t have my own animals at this time so I love making the most of it! My housesitting minimum outside of holidays is 3 nights. Minimum during holidays is 4 nights. I have been called an animal whisperer on several occasions and I am grateful to have such a special connection with animals. I also provide “Whole Tones” music for stressed pets free of charge.

About: My family has always been passionate about giving animals, the best possible life and experience that we possibly could. I have owned multiple dogs of different sizes and cared for multiple kinds of reptiles. I have experience carrying for special needs dogs as two of our dogs needed extensive medical care and medication administered multiple times of day as they near the end of their lives. I consider myself to be very calm and respectful of people’s fur babies and home. I’m currently working part time, just 10 hours a week and I spend most of my time when I’m not working doing schoolwork.
