“From the first time Amanda came over for a meet and greet with Tofu, she has always been sweet and gentle with him. At the end of their first meeting, Tofu felt so comfortable with her that he leaned over to give her kisses and asked for belly rubs. Amanda was quick to respond to any inquiries and flexible in her schedule. Having her walk Tofu on the days I have to go in to the office is such a relief!”

“We’ve had Kyle walk our dogs 2x already. Both times he showed up on time, he kept the dogs happy and he was a pleasure to hire. We will definitely hire Kyle again to care for our dogs in the near future. Thanks so much Kyle!!!!”

About: I've grown up taking care of dogs. I know how to feed them, play with them, get to know them, walk them, and comfort them. Every dog I've met has loved my company and enjoys playing with me. I have a 4 1/2 year old Chihuahua Terrior that we've all been taking care of since was 8 weeks old. I socialize my puppy Scooby-Doo everyday and he goes everywhere with me. I can't imagine life without dogs, they mean the world to me. During one of my visits, I would play with your dog and have them feel safe in my company. Also, I would take your dog on potty breaks every couple of hours. My walks won't be too tedious but they'll be enduring. I'll only feed them the appropriate foods and treats I'm given and told to feed them. I'm extremely friendly, and I'm not afraid of barking.

“Julia helped me out in a pinch when I needed help with my dog Remy. She was able to jump in last minute to care for Remy while I was at work. Even though Remy didn’t know Julia, he was comfortable with her right away and was well taken care of.”

“Alfonso was excellent with our dog Bella taking her for walks while we were unable to do so. He was always on time and provided such cute pictures of her enjoying herself on her walk!”

About: Hello! We are Madeline (MJ), Kirk, Ginny, Auggie & Camicazi (MJ & Kirk's fur babies)! We have recently moved to PV from Manhattan Beach where we have been providing pet care since Rover got its start, back when it was still DogVacay! ***Please take a moment to read through our details, and if you feel this would be a good fit for your dog, feel free to contact us for a Meet-n-Greet*** ABOUT US: We have been around animals our whole lives, but we especially love dogs! We enjoy daily one to two hour walks and games with anything that squeaks, providing 24-hour supervision overnight and daycare. We have 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including puppies, special needs dogs, and seniors. ABOUT OUR DOGS: We can only take on small or medium sized dogs -depending on the breed (enter: short and fat!)- to ensure the safety of our own doggies, who are all a tiny 7 lbs. PLEASE do NOT request a Meet-n-Greet if you have a large dog. Also note: all vaccinations must be current. RATES: This is pretty straightforward. We charge the same for all breeds that meet our aforementioned requirements. Be aware that we do charge an additional $5 for holiday periods. My husband and I both work from home, so there will always be someone around to supervise your pup. If not outdoors playing or walking, your dog will be spending most of his or her time with us in our office. We do have a fenced backyard for the pooches to play in and go to the bathroom as needed. If your pooch is coming to stay with us, please remember to bring your pup’s bed, food and his or her favorite toys. We recommend that you bring your crate, if your pup is crate trained. *** We appreciate your taking the time to read through this and hope to have your dog stay with us soon!*** Madeline (MJ) & family

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have had my life changed by a dog. She was my best friend from a puppy until she was an old lady and through that experience I’ve learned that dogs will love you unconditionally. I now have a dog shaped hole in my heart that can only be filled by treating every dog I meet with the love and attention they deserve. I’ve done it all! From baths and long walks to administering medication or just sitting on the couch with them, I enjoy every moment. I work from home which allows me to work from anywhere! Completely open availability and looking forward to spending time with some animals in my near future. I’m very attentive and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while in my care. I’m aiming to be your pets second favorite human! No request is too much for me and I hope to show that through my expertise and care.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life, ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I grew up with my dog Moosie (in my profile photo) who lived a long and happy 18 years! I live in a home in Rancho Palos Verdes and have an active lifestyle, so daily walks are already something that I do. I am very experienced and reliable, and will make sure your dog gets the most out of our time together. I'm currently looking for a full time job, so I have plenty of time during the day to look after your pet! I am also available on most weekends for walks and boarding. I live with my partner's family in their guest house, so your dog will have space and downtime if they need. If they prefer to be social, the family has two well behaved dogs and a big fenced grass backyard for them to run around in.

About: I’ve been dog walking for about 5 years now and occasionally my friends’ parents ask me to pet sit for them when they go on vacation. One of my friends has 3 cats and 2 big dogs and I’ve been able to care for all of them without any problems. My friends’ parents always trust me taking care of their pets because I’m reliable and they know that on top of everything I have to do (like feeding, walking, and cleaning up after them), I always give them a lot of love and attention as well. I’m a full time college student. I’m also an acting major which means I film or have rehearsals on some weekends. I do only have classes on Monday through Friday for about 2 or 5 hours depending on the day. This allows me to be able to take care of or walk dogs between or after my classes or on some weekends. When taking care of pets I’m usually left with a list of instructions and I always make sure to follow that list closely and thoroughly.

“Was really great with my baby”

Isabela O.
“Bela has sat for our 3 kittens and 2 large dogs (cane corso) on two seperate occasions for more than 12 days each time. She is a loving, sweet, attention-providing and responsible cargiver. The first time she pet-sat for us, our kitty had just spent 3 days in the hospital, Bela was extra attentive to his recovery needs. Also, our pets have a scheduled feeding time and the dogs take anxiety medication - Bela handled both without any issue. I highly recommend Bela, she is a wonderful caregiver and will treat your pet with love.”
