About: I’ve had dogs and cat for the last 7-8 years. They have been so good to us and we’ve enjoyed them more than I imagined. I have a business that I’ve owned for seven years and I’m able to make my own schedule. Also, my homeschooled kids are home and willing to help if I ever need it. I have done 20+ years of babysitting and childcare in my home and other peoples homes. Plus, I’ve had clients that I have worked for and have trusted me with their keys to their home for seven years.
About: Hello pet lovers! I am Suzanne. A lover of animals, plants, and all living beings. I am a mother of 2 amazing children, Creid and Veda. We are animal loving homeschoolers. I have had pets my whole life. I have heaps of experience with cats, dogs, rodents, birds, chickens, and reptiles. When I was a teenager I house sat all the time and had a great time doing it. I used to work on farms in Central America caring for animals. I have a degree in Endangered Species Management and used to work as a Park Ranger with bears and birds. I am passionate about living sustainably- as close to my roots as possible- for future generations to enjoy this beautiful earth as much (or more!) as I get to. I am a stay at home mom with heaps of time to go to other people's houses. I make my own schedule every day so I easily adjust as jobs come in. I think it would be a great activity for my children and I. My son is 10 years old and is wild for animals. My daughter is 4 and is fascinated by animals. We don't have any pets right now and miss the time spent with animals. We are flexible to times and days. I treat all living beings with love and care. I've only had positive experiences with animals as I am quite confident in my energy around animals. I understand animals moods and boundaries and feel like I can read them. I know when to play aloof and when to be interested.
About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood cats and pups, as well as my own, since I was 8. I’ve fostered animals of different ages and needs for over 5 years, as well as volunteered at local animal shelters! I’m a second year student at Cal Poly SLO, living in San Luis Obispo, California during the school year, and living at home in Kirkland, Washington during the summer. I work part time as a preschool teacher when I'm home, and I’m a full time student in California :) I’m an excellent communicator, and love sending pictures of the pups or cats I’m sitting for so you know they’re doing alright! I’ve worked in a variety of different homes, and respect any house rules my clients may have.
About: hi there!! my love for animals is unmatched and i hope to share some love to as many animals as i can! i just retired as a d1 college gymnast and i graduate from san jose state university in the fall of 2026, so i have much more time on my hands now that i am done with gymnastics. i’ve grown up with only cats, but i have helped with dog sitting for family members and my friends many times! The most important thing to me is communication and you can trust me when I say that if I am confused or have a question or need any clarification, I will ask. Keeping your pets the safest and most comfortable as possible is #1 . I look forward to hopefully meeting your pet and creating a fun and strong bond with them! thanks so much I’m in the gymnastics team at SJSU and we just finished season so our schedule is quiet clear then it used to be! Weekends are better for overnight care, and I can wake up however early and stay up however late that is needed for the owner! Right now, anytime after 5:30 during the week is best. I care for pets by showing them attention, feeding them and giving them the everyday needs, playing with them outside, teaching more tricks, and loving them as if they’re my own!

I’m very intentional about my schedule and only take on what I can fully commit to, so you can feel confident your pet is in reliable and caring hands. I currently am working part time so I have plenty of available time. I am free every night, and can work in other times that are needed. I have a fenced yard and an extra crate to keep your pet safe. About: Every creature I meet - from fuzzy, waggy, purry fluff balls to mysterious little pocket-sized critters - is an adventure waiting to happen. I greet each one with sparkling excitement and big-hearted curiosity and love. 🏡🐶🐱 Due to remote working, I’m always here for your animal!! Animals at my house get the luxury of having interaction at their paws 🐾 Animals know I understand their secret frequency. My patience, gentleness, and playful spirit make them feel like they've found their long-lost best friend. I’ve had animals by my side my whole life, which is probably why I’m basically an animal whisperer at this point. They sense my intuition — that soft, instinctive way I know exactly what they need, whether it's a snack, a cuddle, or something else. Animals aren't just pets. They're honorary members of my family; my tiny roommates with fur. My home is their kingdom; my heart is their cozy lounge. Where I go, animals follow — because they know I’m the kind of human who truly gets them. I don’t just fit animals into my schedule — I weave them into my day. My routine is delightfully flexible, perfectly shaped to welcome paws. My schedule is flexible and intuitive, allowing me to build in regular check-ins, feeding times, walks, and play sessions without stress or disruption. I move through my tasks with patience, intuition, and a sprinkle of magic — knowing exactly when a dog needs an extra trot around the block or when a cat needs a dramatic feather-toy performance. Animals slip into my schedule so naturally you’d think they helped design it. To every pet I care for, I’m the whimsical guardian who arrives right when they need me — the keeper of routines, the bringer of fun, and the human who makes their day just a little more sparkly. Safety begins with awareness, consistency, and preparation. When caring for an animal, I create a space where their physical well-being is always the first priority. That means secure environments (no open doors if they are not allowed out, hazardous items, or unsafe spaces), proper handling, and mindful supervision during walks, play, or feeding. I pay attention to their routines, health cues, and comfort levels, making sure they’re protected from stress, danger, or anything unfamiliar that could overwhelm them. A safe animal is a relaxed animal — and I make that possible. A good environment is one that supports an animal’s emotional and physical needs. I create spaces that feel safe, comfortable, and full of enrichment — spots for quiet rest, opportunities for play, and room to explore without fear. My presence makes the environment even better: calm, welcoming, and filled with positive interactions. Whether the animal is staying in my home or I’m in theirs, I make sure their surroundings feel familiar, soothing, and full of the little comforts that help them thrive.
About: Animals are my absolute passion. The unconditional love they provide is truly incredible. I believe they deserve our best because they give us so much. I moved to Boulder in 2016 to attend Rolfing School and stayed after. I love Boulder I am happy to take your pup on a hike around the flat irons or just around the block I practice a bodywork called Rolfing and have applied what I learn with humans to animals. I am just doing Rover while I get my practice off the ground and because I am my happiest around animals I follow directions and respect your home. What you say goes, I am grateful for the trust and support and would love to be of service.
“Our new puppy is sometimes shy around new people...but not Brianna! Brianna's already been to our house a couple of times for midday walks, and we love the detailed updates she provides about her visits. Everything is always left organized and clean, and we really appreciate the peace of mind knowing that Jacky is so well cared for while we're away.”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Pozo. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
