“Hannah and Blake did a wonderful job with Clancy. We had photos of his activities during the day and could see that he was having a great time. He came home tired and clean (we opted for a bath). Thank you from Clancy too.”

“Tommy was a great sitter for our puppy pitbull, Mamba! He made sure the environment was right for a puppy, and took extra measures to ensure she had a great first day care experience. He lives and breathes the dog caretaker life, so if you want someone who will pay attention to your dog’s needs and truly care for them, Tommy is your guy!”

“Erica helped me and my pup Rosie out of a last minute bind. She was incredibly flexible, communicative, and patient while Rosie warmed up from her initial shyness. Thank you Erica!”

“Kristopher was able to take Rocket last minute for a day session. Rocket had a fabulous time playing with so many new dogs and was really relaxed for the next few days after we got home. Thank you, Kristopher!”

“Allen was super communicative all day and sent me photos and updates throughout. He even worked on some leash training with her which I super appreciated and gave me some of his own personal tricks. I felt like Roo had a fun filled day with such good socialization with the other pups. I will definitely book again!”

“Anastasia allowed me to relax with my husband for a day without needing to meet all of Remy's needs. This was our first stay with Anastasia, but she offered a Meet and Greet initially that put my mind at ease with regard to her family of pets, the conditions of her yard, and her willingness to answer my questions and needs. She did a great job safeguarding Remy during his day's stay, she sent me photos and an update on how he was settling in, which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely re-book Anastasia for Remy's pet-sitting needs in the future.”

“Took excellent care of my high energy puppy, provided lots of pictures and videos of him happily playing in the yard, prompt and communicative. Couldn't have asked for a better person to trust with my kiddo for the weekend”

“Sage is always well taken care of here and absolutely loves it. He comes to say hi to me when I pick him for 2 seconds and then immediately turns around and literally tries to jump into their arms because he loves them so much and wants to stay longer, which is rare for my Australian shepherd 🐾 He has also been better around and meeting strangers lately! Best day care around 🥰”

“Jamie had a wonderful time! Linda is great to work with, flexible and accommodating. I ran late to pick him up due to traffic and she was able to work it out. Jamie would definitely be happy going to see her again. And we will rebook thanks.”

“Autumn had a blast and came home tired. This is the first rover place that she hasn't instantly jumped in the car when we picked her up. We will definitely use them again.”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and since retiring and living in the PNW, my husband and I have adopted two dogs. I/we have a lot of love to give and will treat your pups as if they are our own. We live in a house with a big, fenced back yard for them to run and play. If wanted, we will go for walks in our secure neighborhood of cul-de-sacs, not on busy streets. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as those with medical needs. I am currently retired and have lots of time for care of myself and dogs. I will treat your dog(s) with love and attention. I have owned dogs since I was a child and currently live with our two Cairn terriers. They are little dogs with lots of character and keep me entertained every day. I have watched our neighbor's dog(s) because they know I have lots of love and attention to give to each one! I live in a house with a fully fenced, large yard and we have two furry friends to keep your dog company. Of course, your dog can join our pack in the house for lots of love and attention, too.

“Tyler has been amazingly these last two weeks. As a nurse I work long hours and she was so accommodating to my schedule and I really appreciate it. Gia came home tired almost every day and mama needed that after her shifts haha!”

About: I grew up with dogs and took care them when I was a younger. But 7 years ago I adopted a blue heeler, who I’ve crate trained, given oral medication, and behavioral training too. I work from home and will only accept dogs on weeks I do not have to go into the office. I take dogs on short walks 2-4 times a day and hang out in the yard with them. I will do all the basics, feed, walk, and give sone loving attention to your dog like they were my own. I will also be open to hearing what you need to be added. Whether that’s oral medication, specific food habits, or a technique to calm any anxieties your pet may have. I’ll work to help them feel calm and safe like my home is there home till you return.

About: I’ve been a dog person my whole life, growing up with them and always having one by my side as an adult. Over the years, I’ve done extensive private training with multiple dogs, including work on reactivity and separation anxiety. I’m especially attuned to signs of stress and discomfort, and I do my best to create a calm, reassuring environment for every dog in my care. Whether your pup needs structure, play, or just a peaceful place to relax, I’ll treat them with the same patience and respect I give my own. I work from home and wrap up my workday by lunchtime, so I’m around all day. That gives me plenty of time and flexibility to focus on the dogs in my care, whether that means playtime, walks, training reinforcement, or just quiet companionship. My afternoons are wide open, so your pup will get lots of dedicated attention and care. At my home, dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe, monitored outdoor time and play. I live with my own dog, Jonesy, who’s great at reading a room—he’ll either engage in play or give the other dog space, depending on their energy. I generally let dogs relax freely in the house, but I can crate if that’s part of their normal routine or if it helps them feel more secure. I aim to create a calm, safe environment where dogs can settle in and feel at ease.

“Hayleigh was wonderful taking care of my pup! she can be a handle full sometimes but Hayleigh always has a positive attitude and my puppy gets excited when we pull up.”

“We are really pleased with our dog’s first stay with Peter and Missy! We appreciated being able to meet them and their sweet dog, Gunner, prior to booking with them. Peter and Missy seem very caring, conscientious and knowledgeable about dog care. After our dog’s visit, we were pleasantly surprised to receive information about our dog’s activities (e.g. map showing where he went on a walk, at what time and distance) and loved the photos! We appreciated them taking such great care of our dog!”

Stephen D.
“I’ll be honest - I wasn’t sure Stephen was the right fit at first. He made it very clear he’s not the “my dog is my child” kind of person, and I… very much am. But he stepped up in a big way when I needed someone I could trust to care for Harry. Despite our different parenting styles (he’s more “cool uncle who sets firm boundaries,” I’m more “overprotective mom with a baby monitor”), he was reliable, communicative, and clearly took Harry’s care seriously. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog - which says a lot. Would I recommend Stephen as a sitter? Yes - especially if your dog thrives with routine, structure, and zero nonsense. He’s not going to sneak them treats or coddle them, but he will make sure they’re safe, loved (in his own gruff way), and well cared for. He’s coachable if you give him clear instruction!”

Jacob S.
“Jacob is loving pet parent. He is patient and gentle with all animals and loves to spend time with his dog outside. He is trustworthy , reliable, and punctual. You can trust him to be on time and provide great care for you pet.”

Hayleigh H.

Powellhurst dog parents share their Rover experiences
We appreciated Mindy and Daniel taking care of Koko and Sasha! During daycare, they made sure to provide opportunities for walks and play, as well as relaxation and naps inside. They gave us timely updates and ensured our dogs were well cared for while we were gone! We would love to use their service again if we are back in the area in the future!

Alex is awesome! He quickly learned my dogs cues and sensitivities and responded acccordingly...by engaging and attunement Alex provided a wonderfully inviting household and yard structure that helped my pooch feel so at ease! Definitely recommend Alex to anyone...

With the way that Erin cares for and loves our dogs, she is the only person that I trust to be with our doggos. She tells me about their day, sends pictures, and gives them so much love. I think we’ve had the privilege of Erin watching our doggos 3-4 times, and she even grieved with us when we lost our old man last year, and she accepted our goofy puppy who is still learning manners. Erin is the very best person to watch doggos!
