“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

“Howie is very kind and took excellent care of my little man. Nigel seemed so comfortable and happy there. He gave great updates, and was very thorough with the plan of care when Nigel stays. Nigel will be staying with him every Wednesday!”

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

“Karen and Ryan have been the best sitters for my puppy. He’s always so happy to go to their house. They’ve been feeding him and helping with a medical need during the day and are flexible when I’m running late from work. Would recommend them to friends and family!”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. “Susie did an amazing job with our pup Quinn! She was very communicative and took great care of our dog. I highly recommend Susie for your pets care!”

“June is always super excited to be dropped off to play with Mckenzie and her dogs! Mckenzie has been wonderful with our 5 month old pup and its been so reassuring to leave June with someone who we know loves dogs as much as we do and also has the skills and knowledge on managing different ages and varying dog’s behaviors! She is very communicative and prompt with her replies and she has always been loving and patient with our dog!”

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

About: Hi, my name is Kira and I just want to hangout with your dog! I’ve been a sitter on Rover since 2016 and I’ve made so many friends throughout the years. And I mean the four legged kind of friends. Many whom I consider family now. I will treat your dog as my own. I give treats, walks, and lot of love and belly rubs! And of course photos are sent to you, the owners. I take pride in getting the perfect shot of your pet. A little about me, I work full time through Rover so I am home all day. Your pup will never be left alone. I do live in a dog friendly apartment near Loring Park/Downtown. So as you can imagine there are many dogs here and around. I have two beagles of my own. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you! - I am available ALL holidays unless stated otherwise on my calendar. (I might be booked so that will be the only reason I’m not available) Since Rover is my full time job as stated already so I am able to give my full attention to your dog. I am home all day unless I need to run an errand. I am able to monitor dogs through cameras that I have set up in every room. I take up to two dogs at a time in my home. I live in a 825 sq ft apartment so please keep that in mind. I keep it very clean and minimal so there is space for dogs. My apartment also provides an indoor dog area which is great for the extreme cold weather we have. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Kira and Alejandro do such fantastic work with my shy dog Atlas. This is my third booking with them and it’s always been a positive experience. He has some separation anxiety and can be standoffish with people he doesn’t know very well or new situations, but they get him out of his shell and provide him with lots of comfort and reassurance. Kira always makes drop offs and pick ups really easy and smooth too which is a life saver with my overbooked schedule. I’m so grateful to have them as an option!

We don't typically have the privilege of visiting the same sitter twice, because we move so often. However, this was Cam and Morgan's second stay at Lydia's, and they were well cared for like the previous time. Grateful to her for keeping them on short notice while we attended a Twins game.
Jessie cared for our Bernese Mountain Dog for a day of dog daycare. She responded quickly to my Initial request. We had a nice meet and greet where Jessie asked a lot of good question trying to make sure that she understood the needs of our dog. The drop off and pick up were smooth. We also received a super summary of Koda's day and photos. Top notch service. My family would highly recommend booking your dog with Jessie.

Karen and Ryan were fantastic caregivers for our senior dog, Kurt. Great communication before and during the visit. Beautiful home with a wonderful fenced yard. Super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and professional. Kurt loved his three days with them. I highly recommend Karen and Ryan for your pet-sitting needs in Minneapolis.

Percy is always very excited when we arrive at Misty & Brian’s and obviously knows where he is and associates it with a good time. We are so happy we have you guys to care for our boy. We know he’s loved and cared for. Thank you both, and for being available last minute recently. We appreciate you guys.

Kimi was absolutely amazing with my puppy, Scotch! He adored her from the start. She took him on long walks, kept me updated throughout his daycare stay, and gave him so much love and attention. It gave me total peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. 10/10 recommend!

Samantha was so kind and knowledgeable. My dog was anxious and she did a great job calming him down and making him feel at home. She was so welcoming and very professional. You can tell how much she loves dogs and is a great option if you need someone to watch your pet. I would highly recommend her.

Allison is just amazing! We felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. We met her and her dog before setting up a day for Flora to stay to see if she would be ok, and everything was perfect. Her dog is the sweetest, and really calm around Flora. Thank you so much Allison we really appreciate your care and look forward to continuing leaving Flora with you!
