About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m new to Port Townsend and excited to connect with local pet parents. I recently said goodbye to my sweet dog of 12 years, and while I’m not ready for another pup of my own yet, I miss the daily joy of caring for animals — which is why I’m here. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for dog walks, drop‑ins, and overnight pet sitting. I’ve cared for many dogs and cats for friends and family over the years, and I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities. If you’re looking for someone calm, reliable, and genuinely loving with animals, I’d be happy to help care for your furry family member. I currently work from home Monday through Thursday, which means I’m around throughout the day to give your pets consistent attention, companionship, and care. On Fridays through Sundays, I’m fully off — giving me even more flexibility for longer visits, overnights, or extra time with pets who need a little more company. Because I can take my computer anywhere there’s WiFi, I’m able to work from your home if needed. This allows me to keep your pets in their familiar environment while maintaining their normal routines. Whether they like midday play sessions, quiet company while they nap, or a structured schedule, I can be there. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to make everything feel seamless, safe, and respectful — for both you and your animals. I’m extremely mindful of people’s privacy and personal space. If a door is closed, it stays closed. I only access the areas you’ve clearly indicated are part of your pet’s routine. Your home is your sanctuary, and I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I’m very detail‑oriented and follow instructions exactly as you provide them. Whether your pet has a specific feeding schedule, medication routine, favorite toy, or quirky bedtime ritual, I make sure everything is done just the way they’re used to. Consistency helps pets feel secure, and I take that seriously. You’ll never have to wonder how things are going while you’re away. I send daily updates — often more if you’d like — along with plenty of photos so you can see how happy and comfortable your pet is. My goal is to give you total peace of mind.

About: Grew up in a dog loving home and loved going to dog shows. I have experience watching friends and family dogs when they're away. We have 2 friendly dogs of our own and they would be welcoming to your dog. We have lots of property for the dogs to run and play and a trail out back for the dogs to explore. Our yard does have an invisible fence with a collar if you're concerned.

About: I've taken care of our dogs growing up and both dogs and cats for friends, family, and strangers. Everyone has been happy with my care. I have a full time job currently but I will still be available to help watch your pets with good notice. I will be updating my calendar as I receive my schedule. My job sends out a schedule for 2 weeks at a time. With plenty of notice and details for care I'll make sure they stay happy while you are gone. I can only take care of pets in the owner's home as I live in a place that doesn't allow pets. I usually ask for owners to leave a list of details for care for their pets. If pets are nervous I prefer to stop by and meet them when their owners are home a day or so in advance so I'm not a complete stranger. But if that isn't an option I'm ok working with your pets so they are comfortable when I get there.

About: I have 8+ years of experience taking care of dogs and am happy to provide excellent and attentive care for your pet. I work flexible hours so I can adjust my schedule to accommodate long walks, drop in visits, house sitting, or any other requests you might have. My goal is to provide peace of mind for you and an enjoyable time for your pet. I can't have a dog of my own right now, but love getting to hang out with pups through Rover, send me a message! I work full time, usually 7-5, but set my own schedule and have lots of flexibility. While house sitting, I can generally promise at least a walk in the morning, a short walk/potty break around midday, and a long walk in the late afternoon/evening (it depends on the day, so feel free to message me and I'll let you know what I can do!) I know it can be hard to leave your pet behind. For house sitting, I prefer to meet ahead of time so you can introduce me to your pet, give all the details and tour, and I can answer any questions/concerns you may have. I do my best to be responsive by text and call while you are away, and will keep you updated with photos. I am a very organized person and will leave your home just as I found it. I'm happy to take care of a few other things around the house, within reason (water the plants, bring in mail, etc.), just let me know.

About: I've always had a deep connection to and love for animals that goes back to childhood. I'm dedicated to giving your pet(s) the best care possible. I'm available to dog and/or cat sit for both Christmas and New Years. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, because I'm in the process of transitioning careers. I care for pets in client's homes by ensuring they have water, food, attention and are taken on daily walks. I also ensure they get any medication needed. My 14-year-old hound mix Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years and while he took a little bit of my heart with him, I really miss being with and caring for animals again. About: I've had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, etc. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time because I just can't get enough. I have a fairly flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle. I would love to set up a regular schedule so that I can plan in advance for the best care possible. I have an older Chihuahua who is very mellow and gets along with all animals and humans. I have a grassy open area for play as well as a fenced off area for off leash play.

About: I love all animals and grew up taking care of all sorts of pets, however dogs hold the biggest piece of my heart. My wonderful pup, Bentley, recently went over the rainbow 🌈 after 13 amazing years together and there’s been a little piece of me missing ever since. Let me love on your dog when you can’t! We will definitely be helping each other out ❤️🥰 I work from home and can be around most of the time your pet is in my care. I love to play and go on walks. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate your pet, whatever the need. When they are with me, they are welcome on the couch and bed or I will follow any instructions to keep your fur baby on their normal regimen. Every animal has different needs and I will make sure they feel comfortable and are well cared for. I am familiar with aggressive breeds and know how to handle all kinds of situations. I’ve also had a senior pet that required medicines and special foods. Whatever kind of care your pet needs, I can assure you I will treat them like my own. I generally only sit 1-3 dogs at a time (dependent on size) since I live in an apartment, however I will take them out often to make sure they get enough exercise and I will smother them with love if they will let me!
