About: I grew up with a lab and a german shepherd, and my family now has a golden doodle. We got him as a super active puppy, I helped train him to be a service dog, and now he's 11 years old! I've been pet sitting since high school on and off, whenever any neighbors or friends needed help. I love playing with dogs, petting them, and going on walks (walking is even better with dogs)! I've watched multiple of my friends cats, and have shared apartments with many cats as well. I've always been and will forever be an animal lover, and since moving to Washington I've been missing my animal time!! I am attending the School of Wooden Boat Building, which has classes M-F all day. However, there is a lunch break that I could drop in during, as long as they are close to the school. I would be able to make early mornings and all evenings after 5:30pm work, as well as all day on the weekends. I'm unable to keep pets in my apartment, however I've taken care of animals in lots of different kinds of houses/apartments. I am able to crate dogs, make sure indoor cats don't escape, etc.

About: I've taken care of our dogs growing up and both dogs and cats for friends, family, and strangers. Everyone has been happy with my care. I am offering full time pet care services during my off-season, November through March. I will have plenty of time to watch your pets as I won't be working my full time seasonal job. I can only take care of pets in the owner's home as I live in a place that doesn't allow pets. I usually ask for owners to leave a list of details for care for their pets. If pets are nervous I prefer to stop by and meet them when their owners are home a day or so in advance so I'm not a complete stranger. But if that isn't an option I'm ok working with your pets so they are comfortable when I get there.

About: I love dogs, and while it doesn’t work for me to have my own, it brings me joy to care for yours. I’ve been walking dogs and pet sitting for friends & neighbors since I was a teen. Looking forward to loving on your furry friend too! I’m currently working part time! I’m available in the afternoons early evenings, for walks & visits. Wednesdays I typically have more time for pet care midday. At the moment, my home is not available for dog care. Perhaps this will be possible in the future. About: I've had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, etc. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time because I just can't get enough. I have a fairly flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle. I would love to set up a regular schedule so that I can plan in advance for the best care possible. I have an older Chihuahua who is very mellow and gets along with all animals and humans. I have a grassy open area for play as well as a fenced off area for off leash play.

We have 2 friendly dogs of our own and they would be welcoming to your dog. We have lots of property for the dogs to run and play and a trail out back for the dogs to explore. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
