About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I have experience working at a doggy daycare where I cared for dogs of all different sizes, energy levels, temperaments, and special care needs. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for pets for friends, family, and military coworkers. I am comfortable working with puppies, senior dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs that need a little extra patience. I always supervise introductions, closely monitor playtime, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’ll follow your pets feeding schedule, and medication instructions, and of course any special care instructions to ensure they feel right at home! When house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want from someone staying in mine. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the booking, because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pets are happy and doing well. About: I’ve dog and cat sit around the Island Country area for about a year. I’m very good with animals and keeping you updated on how things are going around the house while you’re away. :) I work during the day so I have evenings and mornings free to come check in, feed and play with your pets. Typically I am more free on the weekdays. We can talk more about boarding if needed. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
